If you’re looking forward to using hipages to start a business and get leads , don’t bother because 99% of their leads are fake and they are extremely expensive. Let’s just say you get leads and work hard to get reviews build your ranking , the moment you no longer want to be in a contract , they will ask to pay them $30 a month to not delete your profile and reviews that you worked hard for and honestly you would be better off just using google to advertise your business because at least you own your profile and reviews there

Just to clarify, our subscriptions run on a fixed 12-month term. While you can cancel the account, the remaining months on the contract do need to be paid out, which is noted in the terms agreed to at signup and in your confirmation email.
If you still want to promote your business on hipages, you will need to maintain a subscription with us to keep your profile and account active.

I would not recommend this service.
I found myself locked into a contract even after I had stopped using the service. The company could clearly see that I had not accepted any ongoing leads for at least three months due to significant changes in my business and personal circumstances.
During this time, I was dealing with pregnancy-related challenges and financial hardship. Despite explaining my situation and attempting to communicate via email as requested, I received little to no response. I also made phone calls seeking assistance and understanding, but the focus remained on collecting payment rather than discussing possible solutions.
A final payment of $140 was ultimately referred to debt collection, despite my efforts to maintain communication and my explanation of the difficult circumstances I was facing, including concerns about housing insecurity during the Sunshine Coast housing shortage.
What disappointed me most was the lack of empathy, communication, and flexibility shown throughout the process. As a previous customer, I had hoped for a more supportive and understanding approach. Instead, I felt that my concerns were disregarded and the situation was unnecessarily escalated.
Based on my experience, I found the customer service and communication to be very poor, and I would not recommend this service to other business owners.

The terms and conditions are not fair. There is a seven days cooling off period but we cannot except any leads they’re charging us upfront but in the terms and condition it says we cannot accept any leads in those seven days that’s totally unfair terms and conditions

Our 7 day Cooling Off Period is designed to change your mind during the week to see if your subscription is unsuitable for you. When you accept a lead however, this will waive off the Cooling Off Period. This is outlined during the sign up process and in the confirmation email sent afterwards.

At hipages, we currently use a recommendation-based system instead of traditional 5-star ratings. When a customer selects Yes to recommend a business, their feedback is displayed publicly on the business’s profile and is considered a 5-star rating. If they select No, the feedback remains private but it is shared directly with the business and counts as a 1-star rating in their star rating.
Our Trust and Quality team continuously monitors all feedback. If any issues are flagged, they will reach out to the customer directly to help mediate between them and the business.
However, based on feedback from households, we are transitioning away from this system and will be rolling out a brand-new review and star-rating system over the coming months.

I had Michael from MBP electrical install and supply downlights. I requested an electrician on Saturday night and Michael came out the next morning at 8am. He was so nice and so fast.
I couldn't believe the price he quoted - It was very reasonable.
I would highly recommend him any day.

Worst experience!
Worst experience!! If I could give zero stars i would.
Leads I received were terrible. To the point I could not make a living from it.
Returned to a full time job and was then told I couldn’t cancel my subscription unless I cancelled my ABN. Hi pages continued taking money from my account even when I was in financial hardship and then couldn’t buy groceries for my household.
Support was poor and dismissive.

WARNING HIPAGES
If you’re a tradie thinking about signing up to hipages, don’t.
I was sold the idea that I’d be getting consistent leads and work through the platform. What actually happened? 6 months of paying $80 a month for absolutely nothing in return. Not one job.
Leads are either non-existent, poor quality, or sent to multiple tradies at once so you’re competing in a race to the bottom. You end up paying for the opportunity to chase work that goes nowhere.
There’s zero return on investment. You’re basically paying a subscription just to hope something comes through—and in my case, nothing ever did.
Plenty of promises upfront, but once you’re signed up, you’re on your own.
Save your money and invest it into your own marketing or direct referrals. At least that actually works.

Do not trust HiPages
HiPages are scammers. They never clearly explained the subscription cancellation fees over the phone, and even after I told them to unsubscribe me, they continued charging my account. The whole process felt misleading and extremely unclear from the start.
If you Google “HiPages scam,” you’ll see countless complaints from other businesses saying they experienced the same thing. This company appears to be well known online for trapping tradies and small businesses into ongoing charges they weren’t properly informed about.
Worst part is dealing with the people on the phone who they hire from overseas to defend the scam. Avoid them if you want to keep your sanity. I got 0 leads and if I did get any they all looked like very low quality. Save your time and money and use advertising.

Before you join hipages, our cancellation policy is included in the terms and conditions that are read out to you over the phone. Once signed up, we send you a confirmation email with your package details afterwards.

Had the best gardener ever- Dennis from ZENDEN GARDENS. His team are super efficient and work really hard. They take pleasure in a job , are punctual and clean up a treat. I would highly recommend them if your looking for a person you can trust to get a job done effectively and quickly Ours was a big job and took 3 of the most of the day. I thought price was great given the amount of time they spent her. It involved cutting back a fence line of trees, carting them through a narrow passage and 2 trips to the tip Dennis is a super star
