Awesome business
Awesome business. With tariffs in place, they are honoring the price of one of my ordered products and options regarding the other products ordered. Great communication and tons of inventory!
Bad customer service
I recently got into magic and this is a store I've ordered from regularly over the last 6 months to ship singles I couldn't find locally. I honestly didn't have any issues.
However I recently placed an order that contained 3 copies of a single card and I only recieved one of those copies. An honest mistake. Fair enough.
I emailed them immediately.
They responded after a couple of days asking for photographs of all the cards from the order, even though I had already clearly detailed the missing items from my order in my email. We exchanged a couple more emails but ultimately I refused to send pictures of the cards I recieved in my order because I had already told them what I recieved and what was missing. It felt accusatory, and they lacked any accountability whatsoever in their responses.
Ultimately I placed around 20 orders with them, valued at a few hundred dollars at least, and this was the only issue I had. However for them to have this response over 3$.....yes, 3$ worth of cards to a regular customer and not even offer a refund or store credit without me having to send pictures of my order to "start an investigation" is enough I will never order from them again. I've had order issues with other stores before and they were always able to resolve it on their own accord. This store is not worth the trouble!!
Terrible price gougers, don't give these guys a dime
Terrible, garbage company. When you set up a pre-order you expect to carry through. These guys are using the tariffs to line their own pockets.

Great service and selection
Purchased both Lorcana and Pokemon cards from them with a great selection. Only one issue with an order ever of many and it was rectified promptly by their support.
Favourite places to buy smiski & Sonny angels
Hobbiesville is one of my favourite places to buy trinkets such as smiskis, Sonny angels etc! The Toronto location is my go to with incredible customer service who’s always so welcoming and helpful :) The prices are pretty reasonable and they have a great variety with restocks. Recently I saw that they offered tamagotchis, popmart items and etc so am excited to check it out!
Their customer service through email is also very prompt. I accidentally selected Ottawa instead of Toronto and they helped me fix it within a few days. The Ottawa store was also very kind while addressing my concerns and confirmed that customer service can help me with the problem.
Absolute worst experience ! Avoid at all costs
Absolute worst experience. I was sent the wrong cards and now I am inconvenienced of trying to get a return label and wait in a Canada Post line up to return the incorrect order and await the actual cards I ordered. They will wait to get the wrong cards back before they ship me my correct order. Everything is done through email not by phone so every email about the incorrect order they sent is a 1 or 2 day wait to hear back. So if you are back and forth on what option you want corrected expect a long dragged out frustrating wait. The fulfilment center does not pay attention to a simple order and will send you the wrong items and then drag out 1 to 2 days waits through email redundancies. I would definitely not recommend this place. Shop elsewhere !

Having a bit of a nightmare experience…
Having a bit of a nightmare experience with Hobbiesville at the moment. I always shop in store, but a rare item became available on their website - so I took the chance and ordered for delivery. Their site states that processing time is 1-3 days (except during the Holiday season and during site-wide sales) - there was no indication of a sale and this order was placed outside of the holiday season. After placing my order I received no updates for 5 days, so I reached out to their email support and was told by Chase that there was a processing delay as they were moving warehouses. I replied immediately asking if there was an alternative method to receiving these items and received no response. About 12 hours later I received an email saying my order was shipped. After waiting another 12 hours, I checked the tracking and it showed an error message that Canada Post did not have that tracking number in their system. Then about an hour later I received an email saying that they actually didn't have the item in stock in their warehouse and were searching their other locations for it - I assumed this was in error since my order had already been shipped? After reaching out to support they replied immediately saying the order was actually still in fulfillment. I emailed back immediately asking why I received a shipping notification and tracking number and my reply was ignored once again. I've tried calling their customer service phone number and no one picks up after multiple attempts within their business hours. I ordered these items as a valentines day present 13 days before valentines day. With processing time 1-3 days and delivery 1-2 express it should have arrived long before that day. Honestly a nightmare - I would recommend shopping in store or maybe trying in-store pickup as their shipping seems to be pretty unreliable and their customer service is really flaky.

Great store with great inventory, great prices, and great customer service! I've been a customer for about a year now and have only had positive experiences.
Do not pay for bubble wrap or order protection, it's a scam.
I ordered two sealed premium collection boxes and several singles, and got bubble wrap and order protection, because the boxes would complete the set in my collection. Order arrived and the bubble wrap was loose in the box, with boxes significantly damaged (rip, scratched, and dented), and the singles were taped to the back of one of the boxes. Customer support deemed the damage as imperfections and not covered. If you are a collector like me, do not order from them. They would rather pay for targeted ads than proper care of your items!
Unreasonable return policy
Unreasonable return policy. I was gifted a Catan Pirates expansion board game & I had bought in Nov the same game for my kids for Christmas present. I only discovered this duplication after Christmas obviously. My game is complete, unopened, pristine condition even in original shipping box. I requested that I be able to return this unopened game & purchase an extension for this same game.
Quick Catan tutorial Catan games comes in expansion (added complexity to base game made for up to 4 players. If you have 5-6 players you require an additional extension game)
Their answer was no after 7 days.
Instant refund
Ordered three Squishmallows and Hello Kitty came in dirty. They issued me a refund right away and apologized and told me I could still keep her. I will order from them again

Don't buy if you care about damage.
Ordered bunch Boardgames from this store. Saw some people complain about their shipping coming in damaged.
So I decided to pickup. Was handed a pre-packaged paper bag home. Opened and half of my boardgames were worn and dented and bruised.
We emailed back and forth a few times doe them to ultimately say it's cosmetic damage so they won't exchange.
But why are they selling cosmetic damaged items as new? And not labeling it as such.
Horrible experience with prismatic…
Horrible experience with prismatic evolutions from these ppl. I bought my product back in October when they didn’t have a restriction of how much you could buy and of course at a cheaper price.
Today they refunded most of my order so they could resell it at 150$. I bought 40 boxes and they left me out with 10… claiming that was their policy. I spoke with a representative 2 weeks ago on the phone and he said that my 40 boxes will be fulfilled.
Horrible people that don’t appreciate their customers. I asked them to refund all my future orders as well as I don’t recommend them for being shady.

Amazing experience shopping here, there’s lots of great deals and was able to find the items I was looking for cheaper than ANYWHERE else. Speaking on some other reviews here as I saw quite a few talking about this: obviously not everything will be on sale or have all items always below all other competitors, they’d go out of business! I wouldn’t pay too much attention to those reviews and take a look for yourself on the site. I would highly recommend checking out this store for all your hobby needs!
