Have ordered multiple items & always had really good service. Items have arrived promptly, very gappy.
Never really had a problem with hobbymaker,some delays yes,but that is down to the direct delivery from company,not hobbymaker unless they state the product is in their warehouse,as for rudeness NEVER HAPPENS
UPDATE- Today I have received most of my items- just one die short from a particular collection which I hope will be forwarded on. Many thanks to the supplier whom I contacted directly, thank you to Hobbymaker for authorising the re issue of the items. The situation had been quite upsetting and so I feel relieved at the resolution.
ORIGINAL-14 emails over the last 2 weeks of me chasing part of an order I placed on 9th April- value of missing items £98. I've sent photos of damaged parcels, quoted trading standards, advised that the items are still available, felt like Ive been accused of lying about not receiving some or the order as apparently I wasn't very fast letting them know! Today the second split pay left my account, for the goods I haven't got. Seem to just pass the buck or trying to blame the supplier even though my contract as a customer is with Hobbymaker.

So wanting to update anyone thinking of using hobbymaker as on Monday will be 4 weeks but 18 working days (bank holiday and weekend not included) since I indeed and paid in full for 8 items 2 did not come in the agreed time and 1 of those has not arrived at all. Numerous phone calls to rude and arguments unhelpful customer service so many many emails later nothing I have asked 3 times now fir a refund as of breach of contract.. but nothing radio silence.
It's so sad as had just restarted my craft journey due to ill health now I do not want to continue .
In 54 yrs I have never had such a bad experience within a company. Will never use again

This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s a complete failure of basic human decency.
As a disabled customer, I expected at least a minimal level of respect, accountability, and communication. Instead, I’ve been met with silence, empty promises, and the same tired excuses: “We’re looking into it,” “It’s not our fault,” or worse—implied blame, as if I’m the problem for daring to trust this company in the first place.
I’ve done everything right. I’ve been patient. I’ve followed up again and again. And still—no resolution. No accountability. No empathy.
It’s clear this company doesn’t value its customers, and it certainly doesn’t care about accessibility, fairness, or doing the right thing. This kind of treatment is not only unacceptable—it’s shameful.
I won’t stay silent. Others need to be warned. If you value your money, your time, or your dignity— stay far away.

Bought Tonic Trove of Locks. On the photos they show it with Vintage Vignettes Paper Pads, even show the pads individually. Very misleading as the rest of the Tonic Dies photos are of what you will actually receive. Still waiting for a response to my email. Wish I had read the reviews first.

What a cuffuffle. I ordered something from here 25 days ago. So many emails later, with the same comments in reply, I am still waiting for an order. Don't bother to order if you expect a reasonable service when things don't arrive. You won't be just " fobbed off", you will be ignored in a spectacular way.

found an item, that I cannot find in the US. I confirmed all the correct information, to tell them I lived in the states. Not the UK. The lead times weren’t that bad. Since it was coming from the UK shorter lead time than Italy and Japan, when I received it, I opened it immediately went to use it and realized it has a European plug. I can buy an adapter, but the item itself is not wired to work in the US. And I am not rewiring my house. So I immediately looked into returning it, or even swapping it out for an American made one. To each no avail. I sent the item back because I’m well within my 30 days. They received it, I have yet to hear back of any refund. If I do not hear back without any refund, they told me that they will not be crediting my shipping because it’s not a faulty item?? I explained I can’t even tell if it is a faulty item or not because I cannot use it. So it is a faulty item basically do not buy anything from this company unless you live in Europe. At any time they could have told me no to and to cancel my order. Because it does stay in there obligations that they could have done that. But I have gotten no email, no correspondence of any at all. So to me, you are at fault all I want is my $144 refunded. I will eat shipping both ways. Next step is to call my credit card company because I have proof of everything I received it I sent it back. I have tracking numbers. Hopefully this review will get them some attention. But do not buy. Do not buy from these people if you want an electronic device. You’re better off getting it on Amazon.

Ordered Annamarie dies and paper, only paper arrived. Rang to explain only for them to say they would look into the issue. 5 weeks later and many phone calls and no communication from Hobbymaker. No dies, asked for a refund only to find out that could take 10 days!!! What can I say 🤷

Ordered 4 items over the birthday celebrations, received 3 on time and 1 that hadn’t arrived, after several calls to hobbymaker I got the distinct impression that they were not interested, I contacted Yodel myself and seems it was never delivered- I called hobbymaker back and pointed this out, was asked if I wanted a replacement, which I did and said that I’d just like being kept in the loop via email and heard nothing! No idea if a replacement has been ordered, if it’s on route or if I’m expected to call them back! Customer Service appears to be non existent.

Worst delivery times ever. I know they’ve just had their 3rd birthday when they were giving great deal but they should have expected large orders. I wait, 1 item arrives…. This is how it’s been ever since. What’s going on? They’ve had my money, hundreds of pounds over the the last couple of weeks and still I see nothing for all I’ve spent. I’m staying away from hobby maker from now on. I’d rather pay a little more and source my crafting supplies from other suppliers. Seriously, Crafters companion deliver faster. Hobby maker are making their brand a joke. This morning I received one email saying my order was despatched and then another 2 mins later (for the same order) saying there was a delay! Which is it? Can it actually be both, I doubt it! I just want what I’ve paid for and they give an awful service.

Placed an order on 8/2/25. There was part of the order missing. Contacted them via email and they were very helpful and advised me that the missing items would be sent in the next few days ? Still waiting on 4/3/25...keep emailing but so far no resolution..So frustrating when you spend money with them and don't get goods!!!!!

I received a parcel from Hobbymaker and there was a missing item. I got in contact with them five minutes after I received the parcel. I sent all the photos and after a month, still no joy. This is only the second order I have made and the first one also had a missing item, they sorted that one in a week. The only time I get any response from them is if I send an email. They need to keep the clients informed what is going on. They just keep saying that the liaison officer is looking at it. I don't know what else to do.Safe to say I doubt if I will order again
Items, all Crafters Companion, arrived after 11 days and a couple of phone calls. One small item had been substituted in but it’s ok. Would suggest time of delivery changed on website to up to 10 days.
Things look good so looking forward to using.

It's a CON - DO NOT USE! I've tried to order price dropped items from them twice now. The first time I was late "checking out" so assumed it was my fault, but the second time I checked out straight away. On both occasions it showed as stock available, despatched, but never arrived. The first time, I ordered a little extra item which was only a couple of pounds, but it's only one P&P so I added it on. Because the special priced item wasn't available, I ended up paying £4.95 P&P for something I wouldn't usually bother with. I have ordered a standard priced item from them on a separate occasion, with no problem. So, where's the CON? The special priced item hooks you in to buy other items. They hold your money for a couple of days between the order date and refund date. Imagine all of those funds they're holding for a couple of days, earning interest on. It's a bit like how a clearing house makes it's money. you might say that sounds a little paranoid - but look at how many other people here have experienced a similar thing. The only other possibility is that their stock software is shockingly bad at reacting when it's received it's maximum orders. If that's so, they're frustrating their customers and destroying their reputation.
So disappointed I ordered a crafters companion great offer (clearly too good to be true) on 15th January. We are always told to check out as if you don’t someone else can steal. So I checked out immediately it was in my basket and paid my money. Yesterday 28th January, I was told there had been a stock issue and they would be refunding my money but I would be getting a consolation free gift. The price was outstanding at I ordered 5 monthly kits for approximately £45 plus postage. So approximately £9 per kit, which originally cost £29.99. I have spoken to several people and like me they think that someone made a mistake on the price. I would like to know if anyone actually received these kits.

I paid well over 2 weeks ago for items that are in stock. Today I received an email saying sorry out of stock. They have no stock left, which is maddening because it states in stock but when supposed to get it because of daily advertisements there is no stock available. It's false advertising. I Did not get a full refund as I spent over £60 and used my £5.00 discount code so no full refund to get back. My other orders on the system are still not looked at in dispatch and are supposed to arrive by Wednesday. I contacted the supplier direct to be told that they 7 days behind at even looking at orders, let alone packing them, then when it is packed its on a system to await dispatch and that the delivery after getting a delivery code will take another 2 days. I will be lucky if I receive it next week. It states within 8-11 working days delivery, HobbyMaker told me over the phone If not received by Friday I have to call them back and decide if I want the items or a full refund minus the £4.95 postage and credit code used. 1st ever order will never order again. HobbyMaker are aware of the 7 day delay from the supplier but they are not informing people who are ordering online or on the telephone about this. How are they allowed to do this? Advertising by live stream television informing customers of when the items will arrive. FALSE ADVERTISING. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.

In the past I chose to watch the c and c presentations for " entertainment ", but unfortunately this new set up is boring most days. I am not able to order anything,but the shows are just so repetitive. It's Hunkydory or Crafters Companion. . . I loved watching David Wait demonstrate Cadence products etc. He was so talented and easy to watch. Oh well, this is " progress " apparently. Not for me.
I ordered a pack of 10o papers and received a pack of 10, telephoned , was told the pack of 100 would be sent, telephoned a week later and was told to send photos. I sent photos to prove what I had received on 18th December 2024 which they confirmed they had received a passed on to liaison on this date. Have since emailed and been told I have to wait until the end of this week, the 10th January 2025 and if I'd not heard anything they will, in their words, 'chase this for you' but I have to let them know that I've not heard anything before this happens. While all this is going on I ordered something else, Yodel had the tracking number on 28th December 2024 and it stated that the package was still with the sender, it's now 7th January 2025 and it's still with the sender. All in all very poor service.

Ordered a Siser Juliet machine. Was an exceptional price and also offered in instalments which was only slightly more expensive than a Silhouette machine that I’d have otherwise got. I was hesitant of HobbyMaker initially based on reviews here, but after seeing two of their tv sessions featuring a representative from Siser itself demoing the Juliet and Romeo machines I decided to go ahead. Confirmation of order was slightly delayed but once that was actioned it was delivered quickly, over all within 5 working days of the order placement.
My main criticism would be the complete lack of delivery updates from the delivery company that HobbyMaker uses (Whistl / Yodal) because it stated delivery by the following Monday, but was delivered the following day on Thursday instead, and had I not manually checked on Thursday morning I’d have likely missed the delivery. This was despite installing Yodal’s app and opting in for notifications the night before.
All in all, I would order again from HobbyMaker. The Siser Juliet is a thing of beauty. Compared to Cricut it’s fast, quiet, very accurate registration marks thanks to a built-in camera, works similar to higher end pro machines (origin is lower left, more hands on), solid build, wifi, touch screen, proper offline software. It even has a solid metal on/off button. The one negative I’ve found so far is the cost of replacement blades (and also the lack of third party compatible blades compared to Cricut) but that’s about it.
HobbyMaker’s TV channel has also been a source of inspiration for projects. It’s my first order but seems like a solid company.
