We went in to order a bespoke engagement ring. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They made it a perfect experience. I can't wait to see my ring once it's made!

The staff were helpful and friendly whilst selling me a very expensive eternity ring. Now the diamond has dropped out 9 months later they are not so helpful now. They say there is no guarantee on it especially after 6 months. They will replace at my own cost! The quality of the merchandise is as poor as the customer service. I resent having to seek legal advise

My wife had exceptional service and quality of work from all the staff at this store, and is very happy with the adjustments and redesign to her existing rings.

Mike went above and beyond in helping me choose an engagement ring. He shown me lots of different options and was super helpful in his advice. He didn’t rush me and there was no pushiness what so ever. It was a really lovely experience and I left with my dream engagement ring. Mike had it sized within an hour. We will be going back for our wedding bands soon.

Another great customer experience shopping at Hockley Jewellers. We purchased a beautiful “tennis” bracelet for our daughter’s 21st birthday. Staff could not have been more helpful, offering some great advice in making sure a quality purchase was eventually made, and at a very competitive price. We wouldn’t go anywhere else! Unfortunately very mixed experiences at Hockley jewellers. The first job I had commissioned although simple it very well executed, engraving was done at a specialist, it was and is a beautiful piece of jewellery.
Twice since then I've had terrible experiences I'm fairly sure it was due to a particular member of their management team unfortunately. The latter two experiences were uncomfortable, long waits and an extreme lack of customer care. I've had both pieces made elsewhere at Diamond Quarter where everyone was helpful and the design process easy, insightful and the end products,
simply gorgeous.
I waited a while to review as absolutely love Birminghams Jewellery quarter and have purchased ready made and had jewellery made at quite a few of the jewellers there, its always been a great experience. However I also need to be very honest as to the experience at Hockley Jewellers as it was beyond disappointing.

Hockley jewellers do not recommend avoid yourself getting messed around

I Placed an order for a rope chain bracelet to match a chain they had in stock. They said it would be a couple days wait which I was happy with however a week had gone by and have had no updates with the order. I’ve had to contact them myself for me to get an answer for the reasons of it not arriving. They then proceed to give me another date at which it would arrive but again they did not contact me at all, I had to call them off my own back.

Not once within the 3 weeks of me going out my way to receive updates, did they notify me of any changes. I had to chase them up for me to get an answer I was after. Their customer service is appalling for a jewellers rated “5 star” which is very hard to believe after my experience.

Once the bracelet arrived I went in to purchase it, however they had the audacity to increase the price a further £100 after we made an agreement on the price prior to the bracelet arriving. There was no compensation to the poor service they provided nor apology.

This jewellers should be avoided at all costs.

I would not recommend at all don’t believe the “5 star” reviews on Google or trust pilot they are not authentic as I have experienced otherwise myself

Very enjoyable experience, spoilt for choice and Nikita was knowledgeable & friendly! And not pushy like some shops
Purchased a replacement wedding ring for my husband which they made to size in an hour for me and a beautiful gold necklace with pendant for myself, lots of lovely pieces, reasonable prices too! will definitely be back for sure!

Excellent customer service - My friend wanted a heavier chain for her cross and Sue was so helpful and knowledgeable in helping my friend make her choice, it was brilliant service, thank you, Sue.

Just collected a repair on a bangle & ear rings.When we visited the shop it was very busy, but the lady who served us was so helpful & knowledgeable. Other members of staff spoke to us & were very friendly & polite.
The repair was carried out on time & perfectly done. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the shop.

From the very beginning when we walked through the doors we were met with such friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were helpful and patient without being pushy. I would highly recommend this jewellers and will definitely be returning again soon.

I ordered two Easter bunny charms on 10/04 and was pleased to find out they’d arrive in time to be packaged and resent in time for my nieces at Easter. I telephoned the company the day after the expected delivery date to be informed that the items would not be here until Saturday 19th instead of Wednesday 16th. I was also told that an ETA couldn’t have been given but it was! It was after that phone call I received an email confirming dispatch of my order. So they hadn’t been sent when I called. Oddly I was offered a refund on the call but was not told the items hadn’t been sent. 8 days to put something in the post is a bit poor but to not tell the customer that is worse.

So pleased with our purchase, I will enjoy for many years to come, our experience was enhanced by the genuine customer care given by Sue, your patience, help and knowledge invaluable. Highly recommend.

Exceptional service from Sue and Sandra. My Son had lost his signet ring his father had made for him and we needed the exact match so his Father wouldn’t notice! Sue was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble to make sure we had the perfect ring. Ring was sized within the hour and the price was extremely good.
We will be coming back after amazing advice to have the ring engraved next month.

Fabulous service from a really helpful team. I had a rough idea of what I wanted but the lovely assistant was able to make suggestions so that I was able to buy something that was exactly right.
The price was amazing and I was even able to get the engraving done within the hour. Really pleased with the service & the end result :)

Mike, Izzie and the staff at Hockley Jewellers pulled out all the stops to find an exact replacement for my gold chain (made in Birmingham) that was stolen. It was not a standard design but they found one in Sheffield (the last one!) and I was able to have a matching bracelet made as it was a longer chain. I am absolutely delighted and really appreciate their efforts on my behalf. Wonderful customer service!

My daughters and I wanted memorial jewellery made. Michael was very patient as were weren't sure what we wanted. He spent a lot of time with us. We had 3 pieces made. One came back great. The other two we weren't quite sure so Michael redid them. My daughter loved hers, I was still unsure. I was told by Mike to take it away and if I didn't like it to come back and they would try again and again until they got it right or refund my money if I preferred. I didn't return it as the more I looked at it the more I loved it. There was no pressure put on me, Michael and Mike were very patient. As it is a deeply personal and emotional journey it is not an easy purchase but Michael and Mike made it a very good overall experience. I cannot recommend them enough.
This jewellery was my 3rd significant purchase from them, my daughter goes to them too as they are helpful and not in the least pushy but want you to have the perfect piece of jewellery for you.
