I have ordered and paid one month ago. Got the "your order is confirmed" mail form hojny and never heard anything again. No reply to my emails and facebook-chats. I have never experienced anything like this before. I order plants all over europe and never had any problems. I definitely cannot recommend this nursery!

They don’t reply to e-mails
Really frustrating how they don’t respond to emails. They said they would send me a replacement for a really small specimen that didn’t live that I paid a couple hundred for the following year and didn’t. I decided to place an order anyway again this year and no response when I asked if they would include the replacement with this new order. That most recent order got held up in customs, had to be sent back to them or destroyed, I informed them it would be on the way back to them, no email response from them. I never insisted on a refund or even blamed them for customs issue but they don’t even care to reply and try to figure out a solution.
Only order from them if you can you deal with having your emails ignored, and yes the specimens are very small depending on what you order and may not make it.
I really wanted to like this company, the specimens that did make it alive are nice and prices on some of them were competitive but it’s like they purposefully ignore you.

Ich glaube, die Pflanzen werden sehr gut zum Versand vorbereitet. Obwohl wurzelnackt und ohne Blätter vor noch nicht mal drei Wochen angekommen, hat meine Dendrosicyos sokotranus zeigt schon 8. Blatt. Das ist wunderbar. Übrigens die Beigabe Bombax ellipticum hat auch einen tollen roten Blatt. Kurz und knapp die Pflanzen werden optimal versorgt, die Versandstrapazen werden somit sehr gut überbrückt. Vielen dank dafür.
What a fantastic experience!!
I ordered my succulents without realizing this Nursery was in the Czech Republic. I was very interested in the species that I ordered and it seemed like I couldn't find them in the U.S. They took the order and explained the whole process to me. They kept me notified every step of the way of where my order was in the process. Their customer service is very quick to address any concerns. I recieved my package and was shocked when I found a thank you gift, of another plant, in my package. I read the instructions provided and then went about potting my new additions. They arrived without leaves and seemed kind of dry, but they had just completed a journey from the Czech Republic to California. I used quality soil, gave them some water and found a nice place where they would get plenty of sun, but not the scorching mid-day sun. I am so happy and excited to report that all of my new and very interesting species of Desert Rose have all grown new leaves in and they all look quite healthy. This has been a great experience, and now I know that I can safely order rare and exotic succulents- at least to me they are rare- from HOJNY, I will be again!

If you are in the USA 🇺🇸 I advise you to not order from here because you will not receive your order due to them not having the proper Documentation/Permit and they don’t respond back to email to refund your money 🤷🏾♂️. Very unprofessional!
Hesitant to order again
I did ordered 2 boswellia sacra, 1socotorana and myrrh, when the order arrived in Canada. I was very surprised and disappointed, the size of the sacra and socotorana was like 2 inc, tall and 1socotorana was 1/16 inch thin. For almost $300 total. From that socotorana never made it. I have emailed them so did my wife but haven't heard a word for almost a month. I will be hesitant to order from them again. No communication skill at all once you pay for the product.
Good quality of seeds and customer service
I initially had issues with my order that wasn't shipped but the company found a solution quickly and offered extra seeds to make up for the issue. The delivery time is a bit slow but the quality is good.
I recently got into succulents
I recently got into succulents and obtained my first plants from hojnysucculents. I received 2 Boswellia Sacra, 2 Boswellia socrotana, 2 Pseudobombax ellipticum, an Uncarina roeoesiliana and a Dracaena cinnabari back in November of last year. The package the plants arrived in were padded with a lot of material, so plants would not move around during transport. All plants had bare roots, and were without leaves. Shortly after potting them, most plants awakened again. However, the two Boswellia socrotana are still asleep, even at this point. Upon inquiry as to what was happening to the socrotana, Lukas assured me that it may take up to a year for them to wake up, but that as long as the caudex had a firm feeling to it, they would be alive. He showed a great deal of patience with all of my inquires as a newcomer to the succulent field. He even gave me some pointers on how to best take care of the plants, and told me not hesitate in contacting him again, should any further questions arise. Overall, i felt well taken care of and even though some plants have not woken up yet, i would like to have faith in Lukas' words.

All the plants I received early last summer, were as expected. I took into account that they would be smaller plants than pictured and would have to have shipped bare root. I plan to order again this spring. The date I listed was the date on my import petmit.

i received product but its way off from what was on the pictures, sad looking, dry, dead on inside seedling, nothing to do with the photos. asked for refund twice, no reply. be aware, they are saying that they have to sent it like this, but my problem is that i received something very different than on the photos, there wasnt any information that its going to be different. for me thats a reason for refund obviously, but they are not going to text you back.

I ordered a few plants from Lukas at Hojny, they never arrived after over two months of waiting. I’m in the US and the plants were held up in customs for 11 days and never made it to my home. I went to two USPS stations and they had no indication that the package was ever delivered. When I inquired directly with Lukas he indicated that they would not a refund if the package was attempted to be delivered, but I never got any notice from USPS. I again asked for a refund and was told by Lukas they do not issue refunds and that he could resend the plants, but he never followed through. This company does not have the capability to ship to the US within a normal timeframe and should not be ordered from. I still have no refund and no plants, this company is a scam!!! I’m out over a hundred dollars and have nothing to show for it, do not order from them!!!

I bought the plants on July 17th and I received them on August 5th. I asked the seller and they said that they delayed the delivery because they didn't have the packaging materials. Ok, I accepted their explanation. But when I received the plants, I was shocked! They looked in such bad condition. The plants almost had no roots. They looked like branches cut from the tree, dry and lifeless. I didn't think they would survive. I spent more than $1,200 on these plants. And I got such bad plants? I have bought many plants from different countries, but never such bad plants. I feel I have been cheated.

Empresa nada fiable
El 2 de julio compré 3 dracaenas cinnabari y nunca me llegaron (territorio de la EU). En la web dice que el cliente se puede poner en contacto para cualquier duda. Desde el 10 de julio les he escrito varios mensajes (a través del enlace de mi pedido, instagram y Facebook) y no contestan. En la web Hojni parece fácil comprar y que te envíen el producto, incluso ofrecen la posibilidad de devolver, pero mi experiencia ha sido que una vez he pagado se quedan con tu dinero y se olvidan de ti. Me siento estafado.
