To clarify, you only placed an order online and as per the website terms and conditions you accepted, these explain how we need to seek confirmation from all suppliers involved that they can meet the price still. This is because we are unfortunately not in control of momentary price changes, fluctuations or changes in availability provided by the same and whilst the vast majority of bookings will be confirmed without issue, we, along with many other well-known Tour Operators in the market cannot be held responsible whereby these changes affect our ability to confirm travel arrangements. In your case we regret that the arrangements cost had increased, however we are pleased that our agent used discretion and manager approval that they could accept your booking by applying a discount so that the offer price was met. Once you have had opportunity to review both the terms of the contract you agreed to which was transparent and our resolution, we would appreciate any amendment you could make to your review rating which would then be reflective of the promised service level and experience you had with us.

Booked through HolidayGems with the help of Sam on the phone, she helped my package price stay the same through out the process which I was really grateful for. Got my ATOL certificate and travel documents within an hour of booking. Can't wait for the holiday now :)

Booked a holiday to Benidorm for 4…
Booked a holiday to Benidorm for 4 people and just noticed i don't get to take a luggage apart from a small cabin bag. Who goes on holiday for a week with a small cabin bag. To book luggage it will cost an extra 512 pounds. I was not told this before I booked and has made our holiday way over budget. I would have been better booking it threw our high street travel agent which would have been a lot cheaper. Don't get conned by these people it's defo not cheaper using them.

Hello colinmarritt, thank you for your review. To be clear there is no conning involved. You placed your order online on our website and had the opportunity to choose luggage to be added. This is designed to enable customers to be as flexible as they want and not have unwanted charges imposed if they do not need a full allowance. The arrangements are tailor made by you as the customer and we are sorry that you did not price them with all that was required or select a higher flight fare that maybe did include the bags you needed. To add them and the cost for such is beyond our control however the website does display what these are to inform decisions.

Great experience booking with Holiday Gems. We needed to ask some questions and get some help with our booking over the phone and Martin was great, answering all our questions and taking our booking over the phone. Martin provided outstanding service
Martin provided outstanding service from start to finish. He went to great lengths to help me secure a fantastic deal on a hotel that I had been struggling to book anywhere else.
He was incredibly patient, helpful, and insightful throughout the whole process. His communication was excellent — he spoke with me on multiple occasions today and always got back to me quickly whenever I had questions.
I had originally planned to book with On the Beach, but the lack of access to a human to speak to (on the phone or on webchat) before booking meant I couldn’t get the answers I needed. Martin at Holiday Gems really demonstrated how much the personal touch matters.
Thanks to him, the whole booking process felt smooth, stress-free, and I now feel confident and well-informed and excited about our holiday.
He is a real credit to Holiday Gems — thank you again, Martin!
