I booked with this company for a week stay and a week cruise down the nile river. When we arrived we were taken to a different hotel but I was still a 5 star. We had a few problems along the way however hoilday jet were quick to respond and the problems we had were rectified

Never book with holiday jet absolutely terrible. We booked 2 weeks 1 in a hotel and the other on a cruise that changed to 5 days in a hotel 7 on the cruise then back to the hotel for 2 days. Arrived in Egypt to find out that our hotel (gravity)has been changed (to makadi oasis)and the drivers didn't speak
a word of English to explain so we had no ideawhere we were going. The cruise also changed last minute was anything but luxury not clean at all. To top it off just got back from the cruise to find out the hotel (makadi oasis) has not been booked so we now do not have anywhere to stay!

Yes we now have a place to stay but when we arrived and told we were not going to the hotel we were originally ment to be at (gravity)we got told that was an upgrade. Now we are at gravity how can we be upgraded back to the original is that not a downgrade if the makadi was an upgrade?

I was planning for holiday not sure were to go I got this app on Google called the person who picked up the phone first he really wished me very polite and asked me what were I was planning for holiday I told him I was not sure he really helped me to look for holiday and next thing I know I bk for holiday to Turkey he his very good with hiscustomer service at the end I asked his name and he told me his name was Ben Ahmed I will always recommend him to my family and friends when planning for holiday

Just arrived home from a 14 day holiday to Egypt, covering a 7 day Nile cruise and a 7 day all inclusive hotel stay. We booked via Holidayjet.
When booking, I was very impressed with the ease of the booking process and how inexpensive the holiday was, for what we were getting.
As in a previous review, the payment process was a bit haphazard and after being told we would get our documentation (hotel/ cruise vouchers, transfers) 7 - 10 days prior to the holiday, I eventually received it 4 days prior to leaving.
After reading a couple of bad reviews and with the aforementioned issues, I left for this holiday feeling a little concerned.
I need not have been. Yes, the luxurious 5 star river cruise was definitely not what I would call 5 star, however, the boat was clean, staff friendly and food was good. The promised upper deck balcony with a full view of the Nile ( having paid an additional £200 for this), ended up being a mid deck juliette balcony. The boat was said to have been renovated, and the reception area, lounge area and dining room was lovely. The cabins were basic but clean, however had not been renovated recently, in my opinion. The 7 day river cruise was too long with most of the other holidaymakers, on the boat, doing a 4 day cruise (Luxor to Aswan rather than a round trip from Luxor to Aswan and back to Luxor). Our remaining 3 days on board were a bit surplus to requirements! Perhaps the company should consider a 4 day Nile cruise, followed by a trip to Cairo, then the 7 day hotel stay?
The hotel, again said to be 5 star, was more like a good 3 star or 4 star and again, as in previous reviews, there was the issue of being sent to a different hotel before and after the cruise. This did not affect me personally, however, this did happen to another holidaymaker that I chatted to, and resulted in her being very inconvenienced by this.
The transfers between the airport, river cruise and the hotel were all good, with our driver, Eslam, being very punctual and friendly. Our Nile cruise guide, Kamal, was lovely and very knowledgeable and tried his best to answer all our questions!
All in all, the holiday was good, however, do not expect a luxurious 5 star experience, as advertised! You only get what you pay for!

After this review was submitted, I received a call from Holidayjet, asking for additional feedback so that they can pass it on to future customers. They explained that it is the country that sets the 5 star ratings of the hotels and River cruises. As a gesture of goodwill, they will provide a voucher towards my next booking. They goes someway to restoring my faith in Holidayjet!

Ben Thompson customer supervisor has been fantastic with the service I’ve received. Any niggles in booking process has been rectified as promised (and I personally admit I’m perfectionist) everything has been completed as promised. A valuable asset to your company

We had very good service from the travel agent and we enjoyed the way we treated by Galaxy Holidays. Although the Hotel and swimming pools were amazing round. We enjoyed every minute as 35 years of Aniversery Marriage.
