Stairlift yes, handbook, no
The stairlift was installed quickly and efficiently by a friendly engineer. The handbook, without which the stairlift says it should not be operated, has not yet been received

Brilliant company from start to finish
Excellent company from start to finish. From phoning them they was out the next day to give a quote , all installed the following week by a very friendly fitter who installed it in a couple of hours. And it's the best thing iv ever had.i would and have recommended homelife stairlifts to everyone.

The stairlift is very good exactly what was needed works well easy to use,the only drawback was the installation of lift long standing installation date was cancelled at short notice which caused a lot of problems information was as rare as hens teeth on this subject, but all works well now.

I can assure this is not reflective of our usual high standards. Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, and it is very uncommon for installation dates to be moved or cancelled, we are very sorry that you experienced this.
That’s said, it is great to know that you are happy with your new stairlift and are benefiting from its ease of use.

Not was discussed
Owing to the weight requirements it had to be the heavy duty unit. We were advised to clear the landing of a storage unit to allow the chair to stop on the landing. The unit sent stopped on the top of the stairs, after a discussion with the company the told me that the unit could not handle a run off to the landing.
so a disappointing result for over £4000.00.
It would appear that other manufacturers stair lifts can do the job we thought we were getting. At least the wife doesn't have to crawl up the stairs anymore, & once we have secured additional funding we will replace the stair lift for another manufacturer
