Rip off tell you a price then it’s more than double the price for the locks when they are not even British standard locks they offer what a joke

AVOID!
I had a faulty lock and was unable to get in to my house, the only good thing I can say about them is they arrived quickly on a Saturday night during lockdown.
After working on my lock for a short period (that's where the problem was) he said he would need to break in to the house. I told him it was a brand new door I'd only recently bought and if he could find another way but he told me he would cause no damage. After placing clamps on my door he's damaged my whole frame and scratched the front door which was all brand new.
He then reverted back to the lock meaning the damage to my door was all for nothing!
They charged me £339.00 for this too which is outrageous, I have since tried to gather answers but they have completely ignored me. I am looking to take court action as they are scammers, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Woman on the phone told me that the charge would be £49 call out and then £25 for the part. When the engineer came he said the part is £150 and he needs the cash up front and would not leave the premises otherwise. When I called the lady on the phone she said she told me it had to be a cash payment which was an obvious lie. Would not leave the premesis without paying and my Tennant felt uncomfortable as the mechanic came across aggressive. When calling them back after to vent my frustration and speak to the manager the lady whom I spoke to and booked in with put the phone down. This very much feels like a scam.

Got a quote of £49 plus cost of lock if required. When they arrived (at my mother’s house who is elderly and vulnerable they added a charge to ‘get the door open’. Plus a call out plus the lock! Surely the lock can’t be replaced without opening the door so they should have charged £49 plus the lock - wouldn’t consider this and would not leave without being paid. Disgusting and misleading. Avoid at all cost!

Disgusting. RIP off. Scam. Do not use. Do not use! £90 labour for 1 hour. Left temp lock with no strip so cold air blowing in then never came back. Told me part £189 it is £47 online. Appalling

I would wholeheartedly agree with the scam and negative comments about these guys. I would also add they the guy sent to fix my daughters door at Uni, waited outside her flat, called her repeatedly and threatened her until she paid up, all because he didn't get paid by the estate agent who had booked him. We called to complain and challenge them but they honestly didn't think they had done anything wrong!! I would never use these guys ever. If you do choose to call them, then good luck - absolutely disgusting behaviour in 2020.

They trap you by doing all of the work and then tell you it’s an extortionist amount.
I was told £49 over the phone, then told £49 + £120 + lock cost (cheapest £79, dearest £169. Cheapest is £8 from screwfix!) + installation of lock cost £20 - takes 20 seconds.
If any of these costs had been given to me on the phone I’d have looked elsewhere!

Agreed a price of £49 on the phone for labour and £25 for parts! Ended up having to pay £120 for labour and £500 for labour! We refused to pay £500 but still was forced to pay £120, An eastern European guy came and took our door lock off and wouldn't put it back on our front door until we paid! Was threatening us to pay and said he would not leave until he watched us pay the money on the phone! Very horrible behavour! Avoid using at all costs!!

I’d give zero if i could! I rang and they quoted £49 for the job, they said they can open the lock without damaging it or the door depending on the mechanism, they never mentioned about callout charge. Anyway, this eastern-european guy turned up, very rude and quite frankly not helpful at all. He tried using this piece of plastic to release the latch, he didn’t put any effort at all. He told me, he will have to destroy the lock and put a new one and quoted me £200! I said I didn’t that kind of money at this time, he then said i can pay £100 in cash and the rest in card. He was very intimidating. I asked if i could have a go with the piece of plastic and i managed to open it MYSELF the first time. He was still charging £49 for doing nothing at all other than intimidate me into paying more.

Scamming turds that grossly overcharge
Advertised as free consultation - charge 59£ for it
Another 150 to drill a snappable lock that took a few mins
30 for a 3£ lock
£20 to screw in the 3£ lock which took 2 seconds. Absolute moronic company that would cost less if they just broke into your house and robbed all your stuff.

I called to be informed that the call out few would be £59. The total went up by another £91 for drilling 2x holes in the lock which took less than 30 second. Not to mention he had a cordless drill charged and a metal bit ready to go.

Feel this was expensive and a shock to the system when I was informed of this. The work was completed before the total was agreed, on the phone prior I was informed it would be £59 unless a new lock was installed.

Bob works really hard. And he did a perfect job. Thank you very much! He solved the problem and he is really kind.

We had our lock redone in an emergency by Bob. He was really friendly and replaced the lock very quickly and very professionally, there was no damage to the surrounding door, it looked perfect!

Nicholas visited my home to change my locks. He was a very professional, honest and loyal human being and did an exceptional job. Thank you Nicholas... Being very polite even though it was a stressful situation. We wish you all the best for the future.

Just want to say a big big thankyou to Michael who came to my rescue yesterday, shut the door with my keys in the lock inside. Got the door open and put me a new lock on soooo happy. It was fast efficient friendly service and very resonable. Once again thankyou Michael you were so lovely. I would deffinately recommend.
