If i could rate as zero stars I would. Some clown from this organisation or contracted to, came to survey my place for a sale.
And the absolute rat recorded some brickwork repointing as movement/subsidence. Been like it for 24years. The clown didn't even know the difference between repointing and movement. Absolutely fuming. Cost me the sale.
These amateurs and cowboys should be avoided at all costs. Totally shady and cheap website. No detail of the parent company at-all or indeed their own data protection policy. This single director company registered number 14007542 has been trading for just 2 years and with 5 or less employees. Tinpot

The guys who book the appointment and who answer the phone are really nice however I rang and asked several times for the surveyer to get back to me to explain in more detail about something on the survey and I’m still waiting so git me that’s poor I bet they don’t wait this long for there money

Everyone I spoke to on the phone and via email were amazing with me. They went the extra mile to help me with my silly questions and the report was sent to me in a timely manner. Would 100% recommend and would use them again in future.

When I first booked a survey, they demanded payment on the day and then it took a month to arrange it and then a further 3 weeks to send me the report, which was promised within 2 days of the survey being completed. I had to chance numerous times and each time I received different excuses.
Currently I am chasing a simple invoice for the survey (which should have been sent to me at the time of payment) for the past 3 weeks. They keep making excuses and not taking accountability to send an invoice and also giving me false timescales.
I would avoid using this company

No negative comments about this company, absolutely amazing from start to finish. Even though it has been a very long process to complete the sale of my late mother’s house, this has nothing to do with this company. Special mention to Hamza who carried out the reports, such a genuine, very professional, polite gentleman 😁 Also would like to thank Marcel, who i dealt with over the phone and via email, keep up the good work and thank you for everything 😁

Very thorough checks on the property we are purchasing. The whole processes was completed within 2 weeks of first initial quote. Very reasonably priced. Brilliant communication from the company. Very happy overall.

Very very poor.

I wanted a full survey done on a property in a prompt manner and have to say the service was very poor.

The survey was arranged, the date wasn’t ideal but that could have been due to our vendor and being able to be at the property we are buying.

Sadly despite several promises, voicemails not replied to, at least 3 promises to have the report didn’t materialise as we grew frustrated with this process.

Apology after apology and date after date/time promised passed.

As a professional person who deals with clients daily, this experience and process was extremely poor.

Are the surveyor and business owner the same person ? It really should have been returned much quicker.

I then e mailed in and asked for the e mail of the MD/business owner so I could discuss my complaint and compensation over the delays. My r mail was only forwarded and I haven’t had the courtesy of a return/holding e mail.

Appalling customer service and you have had long enough to reply.

Brilliant service: kept me informed of when they would carry out the survey; quick turnaround from survey to report; detailed report; and happy to clarify my understanding of it. Totally recommend them.

Absolutely faultless from the start and throughout - Report done and sent back to me within 48hrs. A massive thank you to Director Hamza, Marcel and the surveyor Kev. Great communication, professionalism and personalities. All fantastic people who couldn't have done a better job, a credit to their firm. I will be using this company again for my other properties.

The team sorted me out with a survey at short notice. Really honest and staightforward when I needed it .Surveyor Kevin was professional and thorough and I was happy with his report.

Needed a survey so went with these guys, the service was great and they explained what each survey includes. Report was filled with information and of a good quality. The surveyor rang after the report had been sent to me and was very helpful will all questions I had to ask. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely appalling service. Do not use this company. They over promised and under delivered.
The report was not produced on time.
The report contained a number of errors and was factually incorrect.
Customer service is non existent. How is this company still going if this is how they treat customers. Take your money and that's it!

Having filled out an online form looking to get quotes for a RICS level 3 survey, only one of the listed companies took the time to give me a brief and friendly telephone call. They had a local surveyor and were competitive on cost. Whilst the report did take longer to issue than any of us (including House Smart) would have liked, it proved to be thorough, detailed, clear and saved us from making a big purchasing mistake. In addition, Hamsa (the surveyor) was kind enough to call me back and discuss my questions regarding the report and the property. He didn't have to, but he gave me a lot of time in doing so. I was also impressed with the calm courtesy and professionalism of Marcel, at the office, who remained both throughout my many questions around the delivery of the report. So, for any one who wants their business to clearly matter to the surveyor and the supporting staff, I recommend House Smart Surveying (and will be using them again)

House Smart we’re quick to book an appointment and we’re very thorough. They explained everything in writing and with photographs which I found extremely helpful. The report was emailed within a few days. Very good

Terrible company. Absolutely awful to deal with, useless and such a con.
After I paid nearly £400 I was lied to repeatedly. My enquiries were ignored after I called them out and they ghosted my phone calls and emails.
The report was over two weeks late and I had to hassle them every day for it after it was late, and it was utterly bull as they contradicted themselves repeatedly and lied outright in the report. I know the owners and I know I absolutely got conned by this company. I'm going to the ombudsman as I want a refund due to their lies in the report.

Went with House Smart Surveying as was told I would receive the report within 72 hours. This did not happen. Had to chase on a daily basis and despite always promising to send, had to wait 13 days for the report. Misleading information given on several occasions. The report once received was good quality.
