All though the tracking never updated for my order until it arrived yesterday, I'm still very happy with the turnaround time. 1 week after ordering.

Great Customer Service!!

I ordered a Hoveroo at the last minute for my grandson’s 10th birthday which was in 4 days time and it arrived on the day. He was so happy and absolutely loved it. Such quick delivery service.

Highly recommend

I purchased my sons a hoverboard at the end of 2023 for Christmas.
One of the hoverboards stopped charging and was just inside the 12month warranty.
Hoveroo kindly replaced the faulty machine with no issues at all.
They have been an absolute pleasure to deal with from purchasing the hoverboards and even more so with the replacement.
My kids love their hoverboards!
And I highly recommend Hoveroo!

Missing part on delivery, unuseable e scooter

We purchased an e scooter for our son. He opened the box on his birthday. It was missing a handle. We contacted hoveroo straight away via email, Waited 2 weeks for a solution. They did replace the escooter under warranty with a new one. However, The live chat is useless, questions remain unanswered for over 24hours, the phone calls go to voicemail and the emails aren't responded to for days.
Lost 2 stars due to terrible communication and original product missing crucial part - also i dont like how they dont have spare parts and can only offer a replacement product, very wasteful in my opinion.

Super responsive customer service and replacement process

We purchased a board for our son and it worked perfectly for a year, we then started having issues with it not charging up and saying it was charged then beeping low battery.
I emailed the team and they replaced it for us, was such an easy process and they were super helpful In trying to get it fixed at home with resetting etc before replacing it.

The hoverboard is perfect but needs after-warranty repair support

The hoverboard is perfect, thank you! I only rated the service 4 out of 5 because I was disappointed to hear (after asking) that after the 12 month warranty period expires, there is no Hoveroo repair service option (& no list of local repairers offered).

In 2025, to be told “find a local hoverboard repairer” feels outdated.

Electrical manufacturers should be providing support to extend the life of these devices to avoid them all ending up in landfill.

I did call a few local e-bike shops in Sydney but none of them could offer hoverboard repairs. So I’m still stuck if/when my daughter’s hoverboard breaks during its lifetime.

DO NOT BUY HERE

Ordered two hoverboards and a hoverkart for Christmas presents for my grandchildren. Nothing short of a scam. No service, untimely responses from them. Saying out of stock after order was placed and payment taken from my credit card early November. Finally order has arrived, January 17th. They are not a registered Australian business, they don't pay GST or tax probably like the rest of us. Just a front for some random overseas company who are probably making a fortune from suckers like me....

Received Hoverboard turned on and only one side was working, tried resetting and following all manual procedures but still no luck. Emailed Hoveroo as there is no other form of communication these days asking for a refund or exchange however, all they are wanting is for me to return the Hoverboard for a Comprehensive Inspection, then have the nerve to ask me to call them after 5-7 business days.

Buy a Rideo instead

I bought a Hoveroo hoverboard for my daughter for Christmas but unknowingly, my husband bought her a Rideo Hoverboard on the same day; leaving us with a surplus hoverboard.

I laughed at our silly miscommunication and contacted the Hoveroo customer care to explain the story. I was hopeful they would accept a return.

They would not.

Despite the item being un-opened, remaining in the same packaging it was delivered in, the team at hoveroo effectively slammed the door in my face.

I was absolutely prepared to pay return shipping, but Hoveroo held firm that they don’t accept change of mind returns.

I haven’t tested the board but I am confident that this is not the practice of a strong, thriving business - which leads me to think the many shoddy reviews by other buyers are probably completely spot on.

Meanwhile the Rideo board we bought has been completely flawless - my daughter has quickly mastered the art, and the board looks and feels very high quality.

The moral; buy a Rideo.

UPDATE: as an olive branch the company offered us a 15% discount on our next purchase. So cute. We’re already stuck with an excess hoverboard, we couldn’t possibly be any LESS likely to purchase from them again.. as my kids would say: whomp whomp 👎

We ordered 2 hoveroos for Christmas. Paid the ekstra $30 per hoverboard for fast delivery. 1 got delivered 2 days after Christmas and the other one not. Have sent 2 e-mails without any response. Still waiting...

I ordered on Sunday, it was shipped on the Monday and arrived Tuesday (right in time for Xmas). So a big plus for customer service. The board itself is great. My daughter won’t get off if. Very cool.

Bought 2 hoverkarts and both have…

Bought 2 hoverkarts and both have overheat faults after only 1 minutes use. Constant LOUD warning beeping and gets extremely hot literally after a minutes basic operation then you have to shut down and hope it doesnt catch on fire. Clearly an expensive piece of crap that should be banned. Extremely disappointing. DO NOT PURCHASE

I ordered a hoverboard on 4th November for my daughter on Christmas Day. I received the piece of CRAP on 27th December. The website is a complete SHAM! The hoverboard is very cheaply made in China. Nothing they say on their website is true.
All the positive reviews will be paid reviews and /or AI. I have reported the company to my local ombudsman. THEY MUST BE SHUT DOWN

Best Christmas gift for the kids

I bought the Hoverboard for my 11 year old and both of my 8 year old and 11 year old boys love it. My 8 year old got the hang of it immediately and was on the board the entire day and only stopped for a while when we need to charge. Both kids said it was the best Christmas present they have received.
