Don’t bother
Ordered item when it said it was back in stock. The lodging details sat with no update for a week only for today everything to work and go perfect arrive at my local post office and boom then be redirected back to hoveroos address with my name to it. I didn’t redirect this obviously they have and I have no idea why
Do not order!
Do not order!! Ordered a board back in December and they were more than accommodating in changing my order two days later to add the hoverkart, since then it’s been a world of drama almost daily. No stock on any of the items I ordered, was told they’d be here by dec 13, that came and went and my order was still not fulfilled yet they sold that stock online!
I have now asked for a refund to which they say they already have done two weeks ago - I have received no refund or items. At this point I’ll have a very disappointed daughter on Christmas Day and will be going to Fair Trading.
An absolute scam
An absolute scam! Would NOT recommend. I ordered a hoverboard months ago for my son for Christmas and it came without a charger! I have spent every day since trying to call the number, which goes to message bank and have sent numerous emails and when I finally get a response, in the early hours of the morning, they say it’s Australia posts fault. Australia Post haven’t even recieved the product to send! This business is an absolute scam and they have now ruined my son’s Christmas present! A hoverboard WITHOUT a charger! I will be taking this further!
Dropshipping scammers, overselling then zero customer service
Hoveroo are a bunch of scammers. Do not buy from this business. They are a dropshipping shell called JT International that imports cheap rubbish from China, sells their goods with deceptive trade practices and an online site designed to sucker people into purchasing with fake sales and time-based "hard sell" strategies, and has zero customer service for when anything goes slightly wrong.
They have no contact point in Australia, all support emails are answered overnight and their phone numbers are just answering machines that say they're busy and dump you. The phone number they have listed is actually also the phone number for another apparent dropshipping scam, built using the same website template, called "FlossMates". No doubt the same people shipping in more Chinese junk.
I ordered 2 hoverboards and 2 hoverkarts for Christmas during the Black Friday sales with promised 48hrs shipping. 7 days later I was told half of my order was unavailable, but the other half would ship immediately.
7 days after that I was told the other half was also unavailable (even though it should already have been shipped based on my previous conversation with a different support person), but I could choose from other colours that I didn't want. I told them I wanted a refund, and they said it had been processed.
Same day, I receive a notification telling me my order has shipped so I contact them, and the same person now tells me they're in the process of cancelling the order and they'll process my refund ASAP, that they'll "intercept" the shipped order (that'll be interesting to see) and that they'll "personally" look into it for me. They are unable to provide any kind of firm date, and it's now 3 days after I was first told that a refund had been processed.
Fun and games will surely continue as I lodge a disputed transaction with the card company.

Worst customer service and faulty machine
Worst customer service . No one picks up the call on their QLD number - 07 3184 6543. They dont even respond on time to the emails. We have recieved this 1 week ago and battery is not charging at all. I have called this number multiple times and emailed Support team , there is no response at all. These guys are not based in Australia . I'll lodge further with fair trading to get the money back.

THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE. I PLACED AN ORDER AND IT WAS SOLD OUT. THEY OFFERED COLOURS THAT I DON'T WANT AND IT APPEARS BY READING THE REVIEWS THIS EXACT THING HAS HAPPENED TO OTHER PEOPLE. I HAVE TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO CALL AND THERE IS NO ONE THERE. I HAVE EMAILED WITH GENERIC RESPONSES THAT DON'T EVEN ADDRESS MY REPLIES. I STILL HAVE NO RESOLUTION ON THE HOVER BOARDS AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED.
No phone contact available it’s been over a week on express and no board!
I ordered a hoverboard bundle with express post only to discover that they didn’t dispatch this item because it wasn’t in stock. Nor did they contact me to inform me of this until after I emailed to chase this up! This was due to arrive for my son’s birthday! They then offered a refund of the $50 express post charged and advised they had immediately sent a different design. It’s been a week later since that apparent dispatch and nil contact from them no dispatch number, no hoverboard. Crazy!

Most amazing experience
What amazing service!! I ordered 2 hooveroos and they were sent so quick. I forgot what the discount code was and I got a message back almost immediately. I saw another deal for the karts so I quickly snapped them up too.....i noticed after purchasing I had not entered discount code and they refunded within moments of me paying and it was on afterpay. The most easiest online shopping I have ever had. Such fantastic products and the deals! 10 out of 10 all the way!

Don’t buy from here! Worst customer service!
I have been stuffed around by this company for about 8 weeks and nothing is still resolved! They sent me the wrong hoverboard twice! You can’t call them as they won’t answer their phone. They are slow at responding to emails and don’t answer your questions. I will be attempting to return and get a full refund and I will also be lodging a complaint with the department of fair trading or the customer service ombudsman. Reading other reviews it seems this company is used to this kind of thing. Worst customer service ever. Be warned, don’t buy from this company!!
Great service from Rennae. Love the items
I recently bought the electic scooter for my sons 9th bday and the electric hoverboard for my daughters xmas present. Started to freak out as my sons bday drew closer as it hadnt been shipped - emailed the company and spoke with Rennae who notified me that the colour i ordered for the hoverboard was out of stock and asked if i wanted to wait or get another colour. I opted for the carbon black as there was not much difference. Rennae also threw in protective gear complimentary as well which i thought was nice. She was very attentive, fast at responding and just great overall. Shipping was fast and i received my items a few days later. Son loves his scooter. Rides it daily. I just know my daughter will love hers but she wont be receiving it until xmas so for the mean time its hidden away. Thank you so much!

Awesome customer support
At first I was upset because the board I ordered was out of stock and I was freaking out but the person who helped me through email was amazing, they got the situation under control straight away and sent out a board in a different colour immediately, they were so lovely to me and patient and they had every right to be nasty back at me but they didn't, I apologised for freaking out and they still treated me human. I love that for this company, you guys will definitely do well if this is how your customers are treated :) !! 100% recommend

The colour I ordered was out of stock and I was asked if I could change to a different colour which I was happy to do as there really wasn't much difference between them and hoveroo included a set of protective pads gor the inconvenience which was cool. Now just need to wait till Christmas day to give it to my son but I'm sure he will love it.

Amazing Customer Service and Product
I could not be happier with my experience in dealing with Hoveroo. Due to my mistake i missed their follow up emails in my junk mail folder regarding a change of Hoverboard colour because of an out of stock item. It was getting close to my son's Birthday so I followed up. May went above and beyond to ensure that the order arrived in two days to be here in time for my sons birthday, while also throwing in protective gear for the inconvenience. The outstanding service was matched by the quality of the product. My son is so happy and said it is the best present he has ever received. Thank you May and Hoveroo! I will be back!
