Ordered a Sleeping Capybara Breathing Squishy Silicone Companion Sound LED Night Light with engraving in August 2025. Took 3 weeks for it to arrive. In November, the light doesn't work anymore unless it is plugged-in to a power source. I contacted Huggwaii and sent them a video. They promptly offered to send a replacement. Nice! Not! The replacement was dead-on-arrival (DOA). Never lit up, could not charge. I wrote to them again attaching a video and they replied asking me to try pressing the buttons which I did. Nothing worked. I wrote them 3 more emails over the course of Dec to January 2026 and there has been zero response despite telling them that I will be posting my experience. So, here you have it. They basically tried but gave up. Now I am left with 2 of the same items which are both useless. Well, I can still get the first one to light up but need to attach it to some sort of power-source.

This company seems to be a scam. My order HG#112538, was made on March 1st. It came from China and arrived to US after customs on March 9th. Since then the package has been stuck with Yanwen Delivery in this status: Franklin Park IL US] Parcel departed from Facility. I wrote almost everyday with Huggwaii customer service, but only excuses and delays. I am asking for a refund, this will confirm me if the company is a scam or not.

Final update : I received both parts of the order and they're very cute. The delivery time was fast enough after the shipping.
I recommend it, just be patient and don't hesitate to insist if there are delays

I purchased the frog and intended to send it to my niece, but found out she hated frogs and was scared of them! So I reached out to the Huggwaii team to try and cancel my order. They were so great about trying to get the order canceled and it was in transit! But they made it happen and they followed through and even informed me when to let me know when I could expect my refund. Now that’s Customer Service! Great team and great follow up all the way to refund. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ordered a sleeping capybara breathing companion with sound LED night light. After about about 3 weeks of use, the device stopped working unless it's plugged in to a power source. Wrote to them with a video showing the problem and they replied promptly arranging to sent me a replacement unit. That arrived 2 weeks later but didn't work from day 1 (zero response other than showing a charging light when plugged-in). I wrote to them on this and they asked me to press some buttons which didn't work at all. Replied that I tried what they suggested but it didn't work. There was no reply. Sent them 4 emails over a course of 6-7 weeks but I've received zero response, just like the unit they sent as a replacement. Date of experience was from my last email.

We ordered an item as a Christmas present. Once tracking information showed it became evident that once it reached the UK it would be delivered by EVRI who are the only delivery company who do not deliver to our home address. We contacted Huggwaii and asked for the parcel to be redirected to a work address, which they said they could not do. As expected, EVRI did not deliver and initiated a "return to sender". Tracking showed that it was returned to Client 7 days later. We requested a refund, and got a reply saying that they would process this. However another reply the following day saying that as we were an "international" customer, they could not offer a refund. Only a re-delivery. We explained that we no longer needed the item as we had needed to buy an alternative Christmas gift as this one hadn't been delivered, however they then said that they could not process a refund because the item had not been returned to them by the delivery company. I sent them screenshots of the tracking page from their own website, showing that the item had been returned to them, and they responded again, to say that they could not process a refund, as the EVRI tracking showed that we had refused to accept the delivery (the option that the EVRI driver uses, as there is no option to select "Cannot get to the address due to 10 month road closure). A month on, tracking shows that it has been returned to them, and every time I contact them to say that we would like a refund, we no longer need an item, I continue to get excuses about why they cannot refund us. Very poor customer service, and I highly recommend any potential customers avoid them.

Order #HG108141. I received a terrible product, completely different from the website description. I asked for a refund and they are forcing me to ship it back to CHINA at my own expense (which costs more than the item itself!). This is a trap to avoid refunding customers. They hide the Chinese address until you ask for a return. I want my money back immediately!

Bought 3 of these as Christmas presents for a 7, 8, and 36 or old. I got the axoloty, duck with flower on head and the highland cow. They all loved them. The younger two gufts I had them customized with their names and when they saw that they got the biggest smile. Great product.
Fast shipping , a sale price and my granddaughters loved them to the point the 2 yr old took her bunny to bed rather than her Peppa pig!
I can't reach anyone to check on my order. The email address support at huggwaii.com bounces back. My package is supposed to arrive for Christmas but has been sitting in a "sorting facility" in my city for a week now (according to the tracking from the Chinese carrier). It looks cute but I have no idea if I've lost my money here!
