If you are a Glasgow-based glasses-wearer and are not choosing i2i optometrists, then I feel sad for you.The staff were a delight to talk to on my recent visit to collect 2 pairs of glasses ordered through my local branch in Finnieston.I expected to wait an hour to get some lenses fitted but it was done while I chatted to Alexandra, Jen and Stephen, who fitted my reading glasses for me and explained the prescriptions.I am delighted with my glasses, and the service I received. As with my local branch, it was a personal, welcoming experience.In a world where everything is becoming automated and impersonal, it is a pleasure to be reminded that a few independent businesses, like this one, still place high value on the human being they are providing a service to.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. A lovely store with an excellent choice of frames and lenses at very competitive prices. The staff are outstanding, highly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful when choosing frames, special mention to Mikey, David and Sarah, who took the time and care to ensure the right choice of frames, and positioning of my complex prescription. I’m delighted with all my glasses, which were ready to collect in about a week, and would highly recommend i2i. 10/10

As always staff very welcoming and friendly. Eye test very thorough with good explanation and feedback throughout. Choice of frames is excellent and clarity about different lenses that are individually suited are explained. All excellent - thank you.

Once again a highly comprehensive eye test using the latest equipment coupled with a thoughtful and valuable discussion of my eye issues and options.

I recently visited i2i in Howard Street Glasgow when I was looking for new glasses. This is not the first time I have purchased a complete pair of glasses from this store and on both occasions I have been extremely satisfied. There are many places in Glasgow that offer similar services and the choice can be overwhelming. I have been to several opticians over the many, many years since childhood that I have been wearing glasses, but this is definitely one of the best. They have an amazing selection of frames both on the shop floor and behind the scenes (which they are happy to bring out and show you based on what they feel you would like and suit). Staff are friendly, helpful and make you feel genuinely valued as a customer. They give you an honest opinion on what suits you, and I have never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision on what is such a considered and important purchase. In the end, I actually bought a pair of glasses (Cutler & Gross) that I wouldn't have found or even considered elsewhere. I could not be happier with them and have had many compliments! I'd like to give a special mention to Mikey who helped me choose. His customer service, knowledge and helpfulness were outstanding. Will definitely purchase from this store again and would highly, highly recommend.

Five star friendly service from eye test to getting first set of glasses. Best selection of brands and frames! Wife is a customer also and always receive first class service.

All staff are always happy to help. Nothing is a problem to them. The selection of glasses is amazing. All in all a great experience going to this opticians.

Customer service is excellent and great stock of frames.

Disappointed , using the shop in Howard St for many years and purchased many pair of C&G frames and Varilux lenses. So got an eye test and they recommended a stronger lens ,no problem. So David informed me Varilux had a deal on second pair of lens are 50% off so I got the offer. So the bill was £610 for my 2 pair of C&G to replace lens which I enquired about price , was informed each pair had added £50 due to not purchasing new frames . But I purchased these frames and original lens from yourself ! Was explained to me every frame in the store has an added £50 incase lens is not purchased and vice versa if only lens . In the end they took £50 off as they couldn't find the purchase of the other frame, I was charged £50 so if I didn't enquire I would be down £100!

My wife and I have been using I2i for a few years now. We really appreciate the personal service and their great choice of quality frames. Happy to recommend

Had a worrying issue with my eye sight. Was seen at short notice and Steven gave me a comprehensive examination identifying the problem with treatment advice. This is a professionally managed Optometrist which I would highly recommend.
