Very genuine company

Very genuine company. Couldn’t fix my item due to parts delay from China but didn’t charge me and were very helpful, polite. I would use this company again and recommend them to others. Thank you

Replaced iPhone battery at Freeport.

Replaced iPhone battery for me but the phone battery is much worse and switches off at 17 percent charged. I am charging 2 x daily now. On settings it is still showing 85 per cent maximum battery capacity from the replaced battery. No reply from Freeport Store to emails or messages on website??? Disappointed.

Hi Angela, I think you have the wrong business. We are the original iFixTech store located in Poole, Dorset, and are in no way associated with the Freeport business. We've been around for some years and have a lot of businesses use similar and misleading names. The company you want is called iFixTek or similar. As a small local business in Dorset would appreciate you removing your review or adjusting it to 5 stars ;) as negative reviews can hurts our hard working business.

Great service and very fair price

Great service - I had a new charging port and battery fitted to my ageing IPhone 5S at the Wallisdown shop - Will was very helpful and did a perfect repair. Took it in at 10.am and had it back by 1pm. Would highly recommend!

Excellent service

Excellent service. This is first time we have used this service and we really impressed. Quickly fixed after fairly serious damage and phone good as new . Will definitely recommend this service thanks you very much .

Terrible service

Gave my phone in for unlocking no email or call in a week. Had to go in and ask what was happening. They couldn’t unlock it and I waited 7 days. Terrible service.

Had my iphone 7 screen repaired here

Had my iphone 7 screen repaired here. They did a good job, on time and the service was friendly enough. They also repaired something additional free of charge, but i do not remember what it was. Will definitely use again.

EXCELLENT

The staff were very helpful and polite. Fixed my grandsons iphone within a day. I have used other stores and which have shut down and I lost my goods that were being fixed. Thankfully no such problems with iFixTech - would definitely trust them and can recommend in Poole, Dorset area.

Staff were very friendly and helpful

Staff were very friendly and helpful. It took two technicians many hours testing and diagnosing my laptop problem however I was only charged for the time it took to repair it which I really appreciated. Would recommend Ifixtech to anyone having computer problems!

Brilliant service

Dropped off a very sick laptop,slow kept freezing.To me it was a lost cause but the crew at ifixtech.com were brilliant.Within four days I had a phone call to say it was ready and working.It's like a new machine ,brilliant!Thanks again lads and they did not charge me a fortune like a well know retailer.

time waste.

Dropped off an expensive upgraded laptop that stopped working. waited 9 days for a phone call saying they cant give me a price or tell whats wrong and offered to take it off my hands for free. what a waste of time.

I am sorry our service was not to your liking. I can understand having to wait 9 days is frustrating and I apologise for this.

I checked with my technicians and we estimated we would be in touch after 7 days and this was written on your receipt - but this month was a bit busier than we anticipated and our free diagnostics service is a very popular service we offer which many other companies do charge for and we just couldn't quite keep up with the queue we had for our free diagnostics.

I checked our diagnostics notes, your motherboard has failed. In most cases, the cost to replace a laptop motherboard due to their bespoke nature is usually more than the cost to replace the laptop. We get a lot of abandoned laptops which cannot be repaired so we do offer free recycling and data destruction service and I believe this was mentioned to you.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback, all feedback is valuable and I will off course look into how we can improve our excellent service further - in this instance we should have given you a call on the 7th days to explain we are a bit behind.

I would like to again apologise for not sticking to our estimated timescale of 7 days. Let me make this up to you. The next repair you come in please quote your previous job ID and where I have added an Express Service credit to your account worth £24.99. This will mean your next repair will jump the queue and we will look at it immediately.

The worst company ever.

The worst company ever.
They broke my touch screen ,lied and I was treated in an aggressive manor . Yes, I was fully refunded the £90 for the clean but the fan is still broken ,the wifi issue still not repaired. Please use someone else .The reply to this will be yet more lies. I can totally guarantee that the screen was in no way broken before this company had it.Also the fan isn't fixed. Very defensive response as usual. Why would I except ,or risk them replacing the screen they broke. They'd probably break something else. If they hadn't broken it then why offer to replace it free of charge.

Hi Laura,

My response is the same as per all the other negative reviews and emails you have left us - We DID NOT break your screen - we actually found the crack under all the dirt and grime after we cleaned your laptop and we reported this back to you. The laptop was so dirty when you booked it in we missed the crack under the dirt and didn't report it at the time of book-in! Because we take customer service seriously and you were upset with what we found we even offered to replace the screen FREE of charge - you refused!!!

We also DID fix your fan - the reason you beleive it's not fixed is because you can no longer hear the horrendous noise it makes as we cleaned all the dust from inside the laptop and the fan is now free of dust and debris which allows your fan to run normally and silently as it should! We also confirmed your wifi was working fine as we connected to our own internal wifi networks without a single issue during all the time your laptop was with us.

We also fully refunded you and I personally offered help and assistance to overcome any issues you beleive you still have with your laptop. You refused.

I have several times already tried to help you (you have refused on all occasions!) and as a Which? Trusted trader we use Dispute Resolution Ombudsman. Please contact Which?
