Alan arrived on day and in time period specified. He texted when he was on his way. On arrival we showed him the problem. He explained how the system worked and reassured us that everything was ok. First class service and would highly recommend.

Really easy to book and get an appointment quickly. Engineer on the day was great, professional and fixed the problem I was having with the hot water tank without any issues. Will use again. Highly recommend.

My power shower failed, and I was lost about what I actually needed to replace it. I reached out to Ignite and they were so quick to get back to me and help me figure out what I had, and what I needed. I got scheduled in quickly by Carolyn and kept up to date constantly with their automated system. Ian then came out yesterday and went above and beyond to get it all sorted. Couldn't be happier. The new shower works perfectly.

We had just moved into our property and wanted a Hive or Nest fitted. One of our neighbours had an Ignite Plumbing Service van parked outside so we decided to give them a call. An appointment was organised and Ian attended our house but,unfortunately, all was not straightforward. It was a much bigger job than just having a Hive installed. A favourable quotation for the work was given and a further appointment made. Ian arrived on the specified day and texted to give a time before he attended the property. All work carried out was explained to us first, efficiently expedited and with little disruption to us. Ian also tidied everything away and we appreciated that there was no mess left. It was a great experience and we have no hesitation in recommending Ignite Plumbing Ltd to our family and friends.

Several years ago, friends of ours recommended Ignite Plumbing Services. Alan fixed a leak in our radiator that 2-3 other plumbers had failed to fix. I was impressed with the length of time he took to complete the repair, as the others had rushed through the job and obviously not done it properly. We've had no issues with that radiator since. Ignite Plumbing Services is now the company we use for any boiler/plumbing requirements and I'm very happy to recommend them to others.

Boiler service was reliable and timely. From emails to text messages Ignite Plumbing Services Ltd let me know date and time service was being carried out with a text message to say he was on his way on the day of the service. Engineer was polite and work carried out to service the boiler. Would use Ignite again as a trustworthy company.

I've used Ignite a few times over the years. They have always responded quickly and carried out the work professionally, keeping me up to date with what's happening with the job, arrival times etc. Recently I asked them to fit a new mixer tap, and again no problem, with the work carried out quickly without any hassle.

Ignite did a great job resolving several issues and replacing the shower and kitchen sink and fitting a rather nifty switch stop cock. A great company to deal with, really helpful and knowledgeable tea. I would highly recommend them.

Called out Ignite for a couple of simple jobs - fix a dripping tap and a leaky bathroom basin waste trap. They weren’t emergencies.
Ignite needed a photo of the tap ahead of time to get the correct replacement cartridges.
Turned up on time, but with incorrect cartridges because they couldn’t find the model # (I found the tap on Screwfix’s website with no problems), but he “…cleaned the existing ones so it’ll hold for now.”
The leaky waste trap was replaced, but there is now another fault.
Alan was here for just over the hour and spent a fair bit of time tapping away on his phone. He used all my current toilet roll to mop up water instead of asking for a cloth or some paper towels which I found wasteful and a bit strange.
So a replacement basin waste kit and another fault found, no proper fix on the tap.
This is the second time I’ve used this firm. Really don’t think I’ll use them again after this experience. Disappointing because the first (bigger) job was excellently done.

The leak from the basin was definitely coming from the plastic ‘u’ bend of the waste pipe. I thoroughly investigated the issue before telephoning Ignite in order to best describe the problem to them. There was no leak from around the ceramic rim where the basin meets the waste prior to the replacement of the plastic waste trap.
Communication from yourselves as to a further photo or written details of the make and model of the tap that I’d reported dripping could have mitigated the issue of it being indiscernible to you. If you’re not sure ask. If you don’t have the parts tell the customer and another appointment could easily be arranged.
I did not want the universal tap handles installed as they were nothing like the current handles and would’ve made the tap look awful.
You made no mention of coming back with the correct parts. In fact you suggested fitting an entirely new tap instead.
A week later and the tap is no longer dripping: it now creaks when I turn it off and blurts some water immediately after shutoff instead of dripping constantly.
