Enrolled in a beginners course on Japanese language and my experience has exceeded my expectations.

IH kindly responded to my concerns with my previous language course and very generously have put me on another course. This highlights for me that they are a very professionally minded company that care about the students who join their courses. Thank you.

I took the Online Cambridge C1 Advanced Course at International House London and my experience was excellent. The teachers are brilliant, attentive and supportive. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in taking a Cambridge exam!

Loved the environment, the classes, the teachers, everything was perfect!

The teachers were very encouraging and patient, which made the classes enjoyable. I also liked the positive and welcoming atmosphere in the school.

I had a bad experience during the IELTS test day, I have found the invigilators really rude and bossy. They were not very well organised too. They were nervous and didn't make me feel at ease, increasing my stress level, I hope this won't affect my test score. Big thank instead for the welcoming staff which has been very friendly and kind.

I would have liked the course to be more structured and the lessons more organised. Also the teacher should work on classroom management skills even if these are done online. As a student I tended to talk too much, which made other participants feel at times not so good at using their English. Somehow the teacher punished me for that and favoured another student. This discouraged me, and made me withdraw from the course. It’s a pity because I had been working hard in private. Now I feel demotivated. Not so happy about my experience with IH London.

My English level was B1, and my teacher was Eve. She was honestly amazing. Very kind, patient, and always supportive. I really enjoyed her lessons and truly wish I had the chance to spend more time learning with her.

There were many things that made my experience special, but the most important ones were enjoying the lessons, meeting friends from many different cultures, and always feeling supported by the IH London team. They made everything much easier for me.

I stayed at the King’s Cross residence, and I really loved it. I have stayed in Paddington Citi View and Kirby residences before, and I can honestly say that I liked King’s Cross the most. The street was very lively, and I always felt safe returning to my accommodation at night. Special thanks to Shema for arranging this residence for me — she made everything so easy for me ❤️

The school clearly chooses its teachers very carefully and has a well-organized system. This is one of the main reasons why I chose this school.

I don’t have any contact with school. I think it’s necessary the school has contact with me, about to tell my progress, my level, my evolution.

iHL is an absolute awsome place, regarding my course I found it interactive and could definitely see improvement in my language skills, regarding class size for an evening course was spot on, the teacher’s knowledge was outstanding,he explained to us every detail, he has given us recommendations on how to further improve our reading and writing skills. Overall. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening course I was attending to and would recommend to other learners as well! Well done!

Studying at International House London has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I really enjoyed the learning environment and had such a great time there.
My days were full but in a good way. I had classes in the morning, joined social activities or visited museums in the afternoon (sometimes I just relaxed and walked through the park), and in the evening I went to watch musicals or other performances. It was busy, but I loved every minute of it!
The location is amazing. The school is close to Holborn Underground Station, so it’s very easy to get around. The British Museum and Covent Garden are only about a 10–15 minute walk away, which is perfect if you want to explore after class.
The teachers are kind, supportive, and easy to talk to. I also made friends from many different countries, which made the experience even more special.
If you’re thinking about learning English, I would definitely recommend this school. It’s not just about improving your language skills — you also get to experience British culture, see beautiful historic buildings, and really enjoy life in London.
