Great experience overall. Indochina was supportive throughout our trip. We never felt isolated, ignored, and/or left alone. They always made sure we were doing well, we’re comfortable, and that our expectations were being met. Thank you to the manager Mr. Quyet, our tour guides, Ms Trang and Mr Minh, and our awesome drivers, Mr Hi and Mr. Linh. You all made our vacation in Vietnam very memorable and we appreciate all of you from the bottom of our hearts.

We had an incredible journey with Indochina Travel during our trip to Cambodia, Vitnam and Laos. Traveled through Vietnam doing a food tour. It was absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing, and the itinerary was just enough of everything in a perfect mix. I would highly recommend using this service.

Our family had a great trip though Indochina with this tour operator. Professional planning, attention to detail, and our guests, private experiences, dining and hotels were all outstanding.

We highly recommend our guides Canh and Quyen, warm and always good natured and very talented at all thing food! Canh invited over his home where he prepared some traditional dishes, delicious! Another standout on this trip was the local market visits throughout the country, it really brought our the regional differences in Vietnam's cuisine- every in the same dishes, such as pho. One of the best trips of our lives- so much so, we are already planning to return.

They run trips for Atlas Obscura culinary tours in Asia and we've just returned from their fantastic Vietnam culinary trip. The trip was far beyond expectations: the accommodations, activities, places visited, and our lovely guides who became best friends our our ten days spent with them. And the food! They know every local place and the cooking classes we took were the best we've taken anywhere.

We recently joined the Atlas Obscura Culinary Tour of Vietnam with guides Canh Nguyen Van and Quyen Nguyen and it was the best travel experience we have had. The tour itself was wonderfully organized, but what really made it spectaular was the leadership of Canh and Quyen. Thanks to their attention to detail and enthusiasm for sharing the Vietnamese culture with visitors, they delivered a truly authentic tour. I would highly recommend touring with Canh and Q. In fact, we enjoyed this tour so much, that we are already planning a return trip and will only consider working with Canh and Q.

This was a truly wonderful trip with the most interesting, funny, well informed, caring guides Quyen and Canh. They looked after us beautifully, solved all our problems, taught us so much about Vietnamese food, culture and history and created a happy relaxed atmosphere for our little crew. The trip included many planned and also spontaneous experiences. Well done and thank you again!

Cultural/Active trips: We have made multiple trips with Indochina travel, ranging from epic multi-day bike/cultural/food excursions (including across Vietnam from Hanoi to Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh city) and a 4 day curated high-touch guided experience at Siem Reap/Angkor. Super professional, organized folks making the arrangements and amazing unique experiences on the ground!!! Would highly recommend!

Our Atlas Obsura trip guided by Quyen exceed my expectations by far. We had so much fun as a group, ate so many wonderful and interesting things, and learn amazing tibits about the country as we traveled through it.

Vietnam A culinary adventure from Hanoi to Saigon with Quyen. This was a well paced trip which provided unique experiences. Enjoyed meeting people as much as the food. Quyen is very knowledgeable, kept us well informed and prepared for each day’s activities. He provided insights into life and culture. His good humor and enthusiasm kept us all engaged. The use of WhatsApp to communicate works well.
The extension to Angkor Wat fulfilled a longstanding bucket list item. It more than exceeded expectations. Dara knows the temple complex well and provides interesting insight. Loved the cooking class. We hired Dara for the extra day we planned and he showed us 3 temples less visited. Cambodia was a more laid back experience after the busy cities in Vietnam. Overall a very good trip.

Our tour guide, Quyen Nguyen, was outstanding. Very personable and knowledgeable. If you have an opportunity to go on a tour led by Quyen, definitely go for it!

We have to give our compliments and thanks for this amazing trip they planned for us. It has been so fun, comfortable, and flowed smoothly. Both Canh and Quyen were excellent guides, as were the drivers and our always helpful tour manager, Quyet and Patrick. We especially enjoyed cycling with Sinh, a most enjoyable time with best guide we've ever had. The restaurants and accommodations and the cooking class in Hoi An were way above our expectations. Certainly, the Vietnamese people and the food have been fantastic. We suspect they had something to do with our hotel upgrade in Bangkok at the end of the trip, a thoughtful treat.

Great family trip in Japan. We contacted a few companies, not knowing much at all about Japan. Also, having two energetic boys, we knew we'd already have our hands full! once in country. Indochina Travel was the only company that actually got to know us, and address our specific interests.
They proposed a unique itinerary, beyond the usual tourist sites like Hakone/Mt. Fuji.
Most surprising was their quote, which was also the lowest. Our trip was flawless, every transfer, dining, and hotel experience was without a hitch.
Our boys were kept busy with foods catered more to their Irish palete,
Though since getting home, their favourite food of cabbage and potatoes, has been supplanted by vegetable tempura!
Maybe it's the fact that Japan is an island, that we felt so at home, on this island.
We had quite a laugh when our Tokyo guide surprised us by taking us to an Irish pub, for some Guinness!

I usually do my own travel planning, but this was a biking trip through Vietnam with additional organizational requirements and so used Indochina Travel. It all worked out perfectly, and the minor issues that inevitably always come up when on the less traveled path, were resolved quickly and efficiently. Great trip. Great experience. Thank you!

An excellent tour experience with Indochina Travel. As a college humanities professor, it is advantageous for me to travel overseas. What I learn beyond the textbook is critical. All of our trips to India, Nepal, Tibet, French Polynesia, Easter Island, Chile, Egypt, Mali, Morocco, and South Africa were trips planned by my husband and me. We don’t go on group trips--EVER. However, going to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand for five-weeks was too much of an undertaking for us to plan. There was just too much confusing and contradicting information of where to go, see, and do. We were pleased Indochina Travel cut through the fog and organized the perfect trip around our interests. Our actual tour from the beginning to the end was superb. The people that we met in all those countries were absolutely friendly and wanting to assist us in every way. They were everything that Indochina Travel said they would be. Without exception, they were the nicest people we have met on all our journeys. In addition to teaching history, philosophy, ethics, and world religions, I teach art history. I went to Tahiti to find out if Paul Gauguin was correct about the French Polynesians being both beautiful physically and emotionally. He was correct, but the people we met on our tour were even nicer than those in French Polynesia. The Vietnamese will forever be in our hearts.

We told them what we wanted to see on our trip over a couple of Zoom calls with their team, and their itinerary was far more than we expected. We are not "foodies" but were converted after the incredible dining they planned! The places and people were beyond what I could have imagined. The guides knew deeply the history and stories of all the places we visited, enhanced by personal encounters with locals everywhere we went. I’ll never forget their help, especially our guides, in educating us about thier cultures. We're already planning a return to Japan with them.
