I purchased a sauna several years ago. I moved it to another location in my house and needed some replacement parts due to user error.

I dislike that the app does not connect to the sauna so you can operate it from your iPhone. I’ve tried to get this problem resolved, and no one on your end seems to be able to help. We live in a digital world and for this not to be a simple connectivity on the end user is disappointing and frustrating. Dj Chord

The delivery of the sauna was so much sooner than expected. The assembly wasn't too bad. The sauna is very easy to use and looks great.

Took a minute to get customer support to follow up regarding an issue, though once they did and our problem was solved, my sauna is my favorite happy place.

Honestly, there are so many saunas out there and we went through a lot of analysis paralysis trying to figure it all out. Many companies were slow to reply to our questions or didn't answer at all, and others were heavy on the sales pitch. I connected with Tom Padden at Clearlight and he was informative, patient and no-pressure. He even replied to a text I sent to him on his day off. It took us about a month to decide to make the purchase, but Clearlight made it very easy and we're very happy with the sauna.

The product itself is amazing and it came very carefully packaged so there was absolutely no damage. We got the Sanctuary 2 and the video instructions were very helpful, though I would say even though the instructions said two people can assemble it in about 2 hours, I think it makes more sense to have a third person on hand when attaching the two sides and when adding the heavy glass door.

We bought a sauna from a friend and it didn't come with all the assembly parts. Clearlight customer service was incredibly helpful and sent us all the necessary parts.

bought The Clearlite Dome Sauna a month ago and mostly love it, however there are some things I don't like. It works wonderfully and at level 10 gets super hot so I'm sweating in minutes when I get in. I learned to heat it up to 10 but turn the heat down to level 8 when I get in. I feel I get the same benefits without dehydrating myself, which is something I did the first few days of use. You should drink extra water before and after when using a sauna. My pet peeves are first the color. I wish it came in a more neutral color than this Terra Cotta AND blue combo. It's kind of southwest colors that does not go at all with my home decor. It's in a guest room and I ended up buying new bedding to bring the room together as it's at the top of my stairs and I see it and cringe over the color every time I go upstairs. My house is green, gray and tan colors so you can imagine this Terra cotta and blue giant thing doesn't match at all. Why pick such specific colors Clearlite? And two colors, not just one which makes it harder to coordinate in a room. The problems with it, the day I got it, and put it together, I noticed that the port in the large dome where the electrical cords come out of, was stripped and just hanging. Customer Service was great and told me to just rescrew it a quarter turn in one direction to fresh wood. I'm a senior citizen, and to be honest I didn't want to deal with it after paying $2000, but the alternate was they send me a whole new dome piece and I put the other in the trash. It's huge, I couldn't just throw it in a trash can, and would have to either cut it up or pay to have it picked up. Did I say these components are heavy too? Having it go to a landfill was a big negative for me, so I decided to try and repair it myself. The screw heads are triangular so a regular or Phillips screwdriver won't work. The company could not send a drill bit that would work or new screws so I ended up driving to a hardware store and spending a half an hour to find matching screws that I could use. I did manage to get it fixed but now the cord seems to be popping out of the clamp that holds it inside the wire cover. I haven't called customer service because their response will again end up with a huge dome in a landfill and a huge effort of me to get it there. $2000 for this! My brother is an electrical engineer so I will have him come look at it and hopefully get the raw electric cords to stay inside the black outer casing so uts not a shock or fire hazard. The large dome slides back and forth when you get in and put so these cords move and not being securely attached they are at risk of damage if not securly tightened down. I hope my brother can fix it but it shouldn't be his problem or mine. Quality control should have caught both of these issues.
My other pet peeve is that the way it has to be situated in my room would work better if I could have the controls on the opposite side of the dome. The cords aren't long enough to go to the other side, so I'm stuck with the controls and the unsightly thick black cords on the side of the dome that's visible from the door instead of being hidden on the wall side. To open and close the shutters for privacy in the room I've got to walk over the cords so not only are they unsightly but they are a tripping hazard too. The pictures don't show all of the thick black cords that run from the 2 controllers to the domes so do know you will have these thick black unsightly cords. I just wish they had given it a longer cord so it would work on both sides and you could choose which side worked best for the room or have the port in the middle in the back instead of to only one side. Not everyone has a huge room for this. It's very large and takes up a large space in a room. Having the flexibility to run the cords on the other side would have hidden the cords from view and would also not be a tripping hazard. That said, I do love it, it's seems to be heavy duty just poor quality control on the construction and an ugly color that won't match most homes. Being able to lie down is a plus compared to saunas you have to sit in. So much more relaxing. I love the amethyst mat also and am happy that was included. Its very heavy at almost 50lbs so you don't want to plan to move this very often. I would not use it every day if I had to break it down and set it up every time. It comes with a nice waterproof terrycloth pad to go over the amethyst mat but its hard to change since you've got to lift the domes off the mat to unhook the corner straps holding the mat down. The mat also is kind of bunch since the waterproof pad with the cloth cover don't lie flat without a lot of bunching. One last thing, I did end up buying a rug to go under it as a draft was coming in on the sides where the wheels keep it a bit lifted off the floor..The rug fits perfectly and stops the drafts.

Post your prices on your website. I feel like the inconsistent pricing is deceiving. I had been initially told I'd get a 5% discount due to delayed shipping but that was not reflected in my invoice. Although I had text messages with the salesperson at clearlight, they never honored the discount. To be fair, I did change my order from one type of wood to another and had some adjustments but was under the belief that the discount still applied (and was the message I was given via text) as there was still a several month delay in shipping. I believe posting prices on the site and allowing orders directly from your site would eliminate this room for misleading prices. When I attempted to request to discuss with a supervisor, I was told by the salesperson that 5% was not that much money and I should let it go. I never got in touch with anyone else at clearlight. Definitely was a stressful buying experience in what I was looking forward to be equipment to help alleviate stress.

Likes - High quality product, ease of build, delivery was provided by excellent company

Dislikes - Missing correct sauna bench, and 1 month later, not received yet though I was informed today it would ship soon; Did not include the 1-gallon cleaner I was told I would have as a free extra; Lack of reactivity from Sales though I want to buy a Bench pad

Placed order easy enough. Had a glitch in delivery in that I got an extra pad. Return was easy but cumbersome.

Would be better if person taking orders and follow up had help. Would take a day or 2 before return calls. Very pleasant person
