Account locked for 3 weeks — no resolution, no communication
I've been a customer of Internet BS for over 10 years, with around 70-80 domain names registered through them. I'm writing this review because I'm currently stuck in a situation that I can't seem to resolve through normal support channels.
Three weeks ago, I tried to log into my account and got a message telling me to contact them by email because my account had been blocked. I reached out, and they explained there was a verification step I hadn't completed and that I needed to click a link in an email. I clicked on every verification link I could find and confirmed to them that everything was validated on my end. I then asked them to reopen my account.
That was three weeks ago.
Since then, I've contacted support 3 or 4 times, and every single time I receive the same response: "Your ticket has been escalated to Level 2 support." That's it. No timeline, no update, no follow-up. When I try to use the live chat, I don't even have time to type my question — they reply immediately that my ticket is with Level 2 support and close the chat. There's no dialogue possible, no way to actually discuss the situation with anyone.
Meanwhile, I cannot access my account at all. If a domain were to expire during this period, I would have no way to renew it. I also have several hundred dollars in account credit that I can't access, and I can't even retrieve my invoices.
Honestly, if you're planning to register a domain for a year and forget about it, Internet BS is probably fine. But if you're running anything serious and you ever end up with a blocked account like mine, be prepared to wait weeks — possibly months — for any kind of response. It feels like there's simply nobody actually working on Level 2 tickets.
I'm still hoping someone at Internet BS will see this and help me get my account unblocked. I'd much rather continue as a loyal long-term customer than have to migrate dozens of domains elsewhere.
Not Failed, but Borked Tech Support Company (upd)
I'm using internetbs.net for more then 10 years. It was excellent service during this time and I really appreciate. Issues started for me on March 2026 when payment due date has come. I added funds in advance but still they sent notification that my account does not have enough funds for renewal. After that they cut off my account access, so I'm unable to login. Their support told me that I did not respond some e-mail from ICANN but there was no ICANN emails and this is not a case for blocking account anyway. After that, they suggest me to register new account and pay for expiring domain once again, till the case "with ICANN confirmation email" is being processed, which i did. Going further - they stopped answer my emails and once sent me message where they "can not hear any response from me". As of now they don't reply on e-mails, web-chat is AI chat-bot without any sane operator support, login to account is blocked. I think company is dead at this point. We need to save our domains and I'm going to raise issue with my Visa and ICANN

Update
After 2 weeks of silence, CS got back to my issue. They unlocked my account and told that is it was due false alarm from their security system. So this is not a failed company in terms i used in my initial review but still, idk how I can trust company with such support team.
Auto-renew failed, domains expired and support stopped responding
I have been a customer of internet.bs since 2016, managing multiple domains through their platform. Until recently I considered the service reliable, but my latest experience has completely destroyed my trust in this registrar.
Two of my domains had auto-renewal enabled, and a valid credit card on file that had already been used successfully for previous payments. While I was on vacation the domains expired and entered redemption period because the renewal supposedly failed.
What makes this situation particularly concerning is that several facts do not add up:
Reminder emails up to January 5th clearly stated “Auto-Renewal: Enabled”.
Support later claimed the renewal mode had been changed to AUTOEXPIRE since November 2025, which directly contradicts those system emails.
internet.bs stated that a payment attempt failed, yet no declined transaction exists in my banking account, which normally appears even if a charge is refused.
I asked support multiple times for basic technical clarification, including the timestamp of the payment attempt, the payment gateway response code, and confirmation that an authorization request was actually sent to the card issuer.
After the initial reply telling me I could restore the domains at my own cost, support simply stopped responding and ignored all further follow-up questions.
For a domain registrar, reliable auto-renewal and transparent communication when something goes wrong are essential. In this case both failed.
The lack of explanation and the complete silence from support leave the impression that the issue is being ignored rather than investigated.
Because of this experience and the absence of any meaningful response, I am now transferring all remaining domains away from internet.bs, including those in my company account.
A very disappointing experience with what used to be a reliable registrar.
Internetbs can help you, but you need to push them sometimes
Internetbs is registry with the support that can help you, but only if you push them. My domain was suspended with false abuse, but support helped me out, and unlocked my domain.
Fast and efficient
Fast and efficient, exactly what we are expecting from a registrar.

Held Hostage: Terrible Support and Broken Payment System İçerik (Review):
I have been a loyal customer for 10 years, managing multiple client domains. Currently, Internet.bs is holding a critical corporate domain hostage. Their Worldpay payment gateway is completely broken for my region. I tried to pay for weeks to renew the domain, but they ignored all my support tickets. Because of their unresponsiveness, the domain expired. Now, their support team refuses to unlock the domain so I can transfer it to a functional registrar. They tell me I have to "renew it first" using the exact same payment system that blocked me! They are intentionally preventing me from managing my client's infrastructure. Absolutely unacceptable support from Internet.bs and Team Internet Group.
A Regular Fraud
I have been a customer at Internet.bs for more than 12 years. When I registered with them 12 years ago, it was a decent registrar and among the cheapest.
After a new company took over this company several years ago, the quality of service deteriorated and the prices went up. Their prices are no longer competitive.
They started to extort money from their customers in 2024. So, I investigated this company. We were told that the new company was based in Britain. Yet the names on the support team are not English.
As far as I know, there is no one named Roy on the Internet.bs support team.
I am Japanese, and I live in Japan, but I have several Nepalese friends here. So I asked them where those people on the support team are likely from. They said that they are all from Nepal. One of them (female) might be from India (yet from Nepal as well), but all the others are definitely from Nepal. That's what they said.
I have nothing against Nepal, and I have a number of Nepalese friends. Being Nepalese does not necessarily mean that they are scammers. But our cases here do not seem that kind of case.
So I started to transfer my domains to another more trust-worthy registrar. They used to allow us to transfer expired domains, but suddenly they stopped me from transferring expired domains.
They told me to pay renewal fees first before I transfer expired domains. So I paid a renewal fee for one of the expired domains. Then I transferred it to another registrar.
In such a case, the registry considers the renewal at Internet.bs cancelled and refunds the renewal fee to Internet.bs, which then should be refunded to me. But Internet.bs did not.
When I asked for the refund of my renewal fee, they falsely claimed that the domain was renewed at Internet.bs. Actually it was renewed at the new registrar to which I transferred the domain.
I told Internet.bs that the renewal was cancelled by the registry, and that they must refund my renewal fee, but they stopped responding to my e-mail.
Internet.bs does anything to extort money from their customers. There are countless other registrars. I advise that anyone thinking of registering domains find an honest registrar.
P.S.
After I sent them many e-mail messages, they finally refunded my money to my Internet.bs account. But when I checked it out, I found that all of my domains had disappeared from my account. They had wiped out all my domains clean from my account.
That means that there was no way I could use my refunded money for my domains.
This is a very unusual situation. I have never seen anything like this happen in my 25-year career as a webmaster or even in my much-more-than-half-century-long life.
So I called PayPal, through which I paid my final renewal fee. After I told PayPal the whole story, they immediately refunded my money.
Later Internet.bs requested me by e-mail that I cancel the dispute in order for them to proceed with the refund of my money. However, that had already been done by PayPal, and PayPal told me that there was nothing I needed to do. So I let the case stay as it was.
In any case, my money is back, but all my domains are gone. They had expired, but they were still recoverable. It is a horrible situation.

Why I feel so safe and secure with Internetbs. I'll never leave!
We have used Internetbs.net for many years. In this time when it is hard to know who to trust, you should have no hesitation using them.
First of all they make renewal each year so easy, with a few weeks of gentle reminders that the time is approaching. I just renewed with mutiple years instead of one because I had an experience with them that uncovered their integrity and willingness to go beyond what was necessary to help me.
I more than recommend them I HIGHLY recommend them.

Cosmic internet garbag
This used to be a normal company. Now it's a disgrace and there's no support. Run away from this cosmic internet garbage. There are hundreds of better options.
Scammer
This domain registrar has become a scammer. Stay away from them.
Let me summarize what happened. I started to use Internet.bs around 2011. It was a good registrar, but then after a certain incident, they sold the business to another company. Then it got worse and worse. First they made me pay for a single domain multiple times to extend the expiration for another year. Four or five times if I remember correctly. That means they raised their fee by four or five times. This happened to several of my domains, not just one. They claimed it had been caused by PayPal, but after I investigated with PayPal, it was not. There were no issues on the PayPal side. They had told me a lie. So I decided to transfer about 420 domains or so which I had registered with them. Then after I had about 400 domains transferred to another registrar, which took about eleven months, they suddenly prevented me from transferring my domains. Earlier they had assured me that domains can be transferred at any time even when they have expired (unless deleted, of course). But they did not keep their word. They told me to pay for the domains to activate them, and then they will let me transfer them to another registrar. In short they took my domains hostage to force me to pay them money. It is illegal. So I advise every single person to stay away from them at all cost.
Worst domain provider ever
Worst domain provider ever
They have paused my URL since 14 days without any reply of my email! The chat is useless. I reported them to ICANN my lawyers take the leads now. I will contact all authorities.
Bad Misconduct for domains transfering out - Disappointing experience and questionable transfer practices
I’ve been a client of Internet.bs for several years, but unfortunately the service has significantly declined.
First of all, prices are no longer competitive compared to other registrars, which already makes it hard to justify staying.
More seriously, I experienced major issues when trying to transfer a domain out. Twice, the Auth Code was rejected by the new registrar after five days, marked as “wrong.” During this delay, the domain expired while still at Internet.bs.
Once expired, Internet.bs immediately locked the domain, making it impossible to access the control panel to verify or reissue the Auth Code and resubmit the transfer. Effectively, you are blocked from completing the transfer at the most critical moment.
After just a few days, the domain was pushed toward auction — yet at the same time I was told that I could still “renew with us.” This feels less like support and more like being held hostage to force a renewal.
My advice to anyone using Internet.bs:
If you plan to move a domain out, start at least two weeks before expiry — or consider avoiding this registrar altogether.
Very disappointing experience after years as a customer.
I do not know anymore how safe my domains are
Internetbs is not what it used to be. There are problems with their website. Their helpdesk is very very hard to access. And not really helpful in resolving issues.
For years, Internetbs hasbeen great. I have been a loyal client of Internetbs but I do not want to lose my domain name one day because I remain loyal to a company which has lost its way.

Going Well Since 2016
For years I had my domain and web hosting through a bare-bones company called Name2Host. Then one day, they lost their ICANN status. For me, it was a big mix-up because I had renewed, but then the payment was refunded. I came close to losing control of my domain, but the company directed me to Internetbs.net. Through their chat support I was ultimately able to renew my domain. My publisher allowed me to host my site as a sub-domain of the publishing company website and the settings at Internetbs.net forwarded all traffic. This all began in 2016 and to this day I've been happy with the arrangement. Internetbs.net's chat feature is a little less convenient than phone support, but it has nevertheless always come through for me whenever there have been issues. They even had answers for what was essentially orbital issues related to the use of my domain-related e-mail that was set-up elsewhere. So, I highly recommend Internetbs.net, their prices are awesome and I just renewed for yet another year.
Great service until you have an issue…
Great service until you have an issue with them.
I've had domains with them for nearly 10 years, then all of a sudden they ask me to send a photo of my credit card and a proof of residency.
Of course it gets suspicious so ask for more information on the reason of that extensive check, with no answer.
After 10 days trying to contact their customer support, I barely had any reply, let alone
I've asked them to push my domain to another registrar, a request they're ignoring.
Poor and slow customer support, too bad when the rest of the service is fairly good.
Website is really 1999 ;) Prices are great
