Have a 5star breakdown service with this company who promise an immediate response. Sadly this is not my experience with this company has failed to respond to emails, text messages, telephone calls and what's app messages leaving me with water badly leaking out of broken pipe. Jason eventually sent a message saying not to contact him again as he had our messages and was trying to sort it. What kind of service is that, not even a courtesy call to say they had the original message which although he advertises 24 hour service, he said he was in bed when our first message came in at 9.30pm the previous day. He then cancelled our contract because of this review! We will be seeking a refund. Terrible service

I recently had a new central heating system installed by J S plumbing and Heating based in Lincoln and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. The company was absolutely top notch from start to finish—professional, reliable, and clearly very skilled at what they do.

A special mention has to go to James and Christian, the fitters, who were excellent throughout. They took the time to explain everything clearly, worked efficiently, and made sure the whole installation went smoothly.

What really stood out was the care they took with my home. They left everything clean and tidy, which made a big difference and showed real respect for their customers.

I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free, high-quality installation.

Incompetent plumber bodged the repair to my toilet flush, breaking the toilet panel fixings, chipping the panel and feeding the flush control tubing over the lip of the cistern so that the cistern lid no longer fits. Plumber covered my towels with black stains instead of using his own cleaning materials. Refused to consider repair to an expensive Aqualisa shower and said he would only replace the whole thing. Quoted me for replacement of shower valid for 30 days but immediately started repeatedly messaging me that the quote was about to expire. When I complained the firm rejected my complaint stating “We wont be proceeding with the quote as we like to work with people who trust us and dont question everything.”

I contacted J & S Plumbing and Heating regarding a water leak in my hot water tank cupboard. An appointment was arranged swiftly, with text and email confirmations and a reminder on the day of the visit.

Barry arrived right on time and promptly sorted the leak. He carried out a thorough inspection of all components and highlighted a few additional issues. A quote was sent to me that same evening and a second appointment was arranged without delay.

Barry again arrived on time to replace the necessary parts, made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving, and tidied up so well it was like he’d never been there. The hot water tank cupboard has never been so quiet!

I’ve been extremely impressed with the way J & S conduct their business—from the clear communication and appointment reminders to Barry being an absolute star. I’ll definitely be taking out one of their service plans, as I’m that impressed.

Jason and the team, keep up the great work. You’ve got a lifelong customer in me.

called with an emergency leak, attended as promised within 2 hours and diagnosed problem, ordered part and returned next day. All sorted.
Punctual, polite and 1st class service from start to finish.
1st time i've ever used J&S, can highly recommend them.

Fantastic job yesterday in Bromsgrove, outside tap and waist pipe move. Works on a Saturday as well which is really useful for me, will be using again!

Pete responded very soon after putting out the request via Check a Trader. On diagnosing the problem and realising that we would be without a shower until the problem was fixed - he set about the repair immediately. He worked fast, professional and at all times respectful, friendly and courteous. To top it all, the bill was not astronomical at all - very reasonable. Would recommend him any day.

We have employed the services of J & S several times over the last 2 years or so. They are always responsive & the engineers / plumbers have always done an excellent job. Clean & tidy and always happy to explain what they have done & why. Also the always give a quote on the spot for work to be done & happy to explain why parts need replacing. We had some experiences with other companies visits who tried to say we needed a new oil boiler but the J & S engineer dispelled this as totally unnecessary & did a repair saving us perhaps £3,000 to £4,000 & boiler still OK 2 years later. Recommend them without hesitation

Just had boiler serviced, it needed a couple of minor jobs which were sorted quickly. a good local company who in my experience have delivered essential services to the highest standard. I will definitely use them again.

Our washing machine needed a valve replacing. J&S gave us prompt service and a good price. Thoroughly recommended.

Have used j and s plumbing in the past so when we needed some work on our shower we called them ,very easy to book a appointment,turned out it was not much more to have a new shower,so went with that.

I’ve used J&S plumbing before and had excellent service, and this time was no different. J&S came to do a boiler service in which they ensured my very old boiler was safe but advised I’d need a new one before too long. They were neat, tidy, polite and affordable and promptly sent a quote (at my request) with no pressure to buy from them.

My old boiler died the week before they were due to install the new one (and it started to snow and temperatures plummeted) so they came as promptly as they could (for no extra fee), working quickly and efficiently to get my new boiler in as soon as possible without compromising on the safety and quality of the job.

I’m really pleased with the work and can also confirm they were at the end of the phone to troubleshoot after the job was complete.

Brilliant! From the first meeting with Jason I felt really at ease and that he listened to what we needed.
Having purchased an old bungalow our existing oil boiler was in an awkward position and taking up a lot of space.
He talked me through the process of fitting a new external boiler and listened to my concerns about pipework and answered my many questions about how the system would work.
When I called the office again to ask some more questions he came back out again and was the only plumber to actually go up into the loft to look at my existing water tanks!
Really happy with the new external boiler and water tanks and Barry and his assistant who completed the work were great. They even fitted a new radiator for me included in the price.
Excellent communication from the office and well worth the price!
