Great gym equipment and lots of it. Originally joined for the fitness classes, but haven’t done one for over a year due to all the dance/zumba classes times changing and no step classes anymore.
Reviews are confusing, As with JD Gym, you'll find people giving McDonalds 5 star. Experience is subjective. JD Gym isn't the problem for the most part, its a minority of the patrons disrespecting sim... Toon meer

Love it so far
It’s amazing, has a good range of machines. My previous gym did not have any seated machines for calf raise and instead you had to rely on other types of weights so I definitely love the larger array of available machines.

After joining the gym ,the gym members need to show abit respect to other club members and not to take all the space when just leaving their clothes labout the changing area's as respecting other gym members space to place their own clothing in lockers which are provided.
I have raised my concerns to gym management.

The standard of the gym has gone down a…
The standard of the gym has gone down a little bit. Some Machines are broken or dodgy. And some of the fix’s are bodge jobs. For a big commercial gym. They need to do better.

Thanks for leaving us some feedback. Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Think there should be water dispensers dotted around instead of just the one near the toilets witch you can only use for bottle use other then that it's good

Overall great gym but recently after…
Overall great gym but recently after many years since are open it needs many more things to be better and improve. It starts with more machines, like legs or smiths, cos most of the cable ones are broken or very stiff. Most of the benches and leg machines falling apart and shaking. AC is working better than last year, which was almost off most of the time, but still not often enough. Also attitude some of young stuff is ridiculous, no respect towards costumers.

A good experience
A good experience, however the showers are a bit of a pain as have to push the nozzle in for the showers to work but only stays on for 2-3 seconds, to keep the water flowing, you have to keep one hand one it, not ideal really

Not enough equipment, very condense in there
Too many people, not enough space

Fantastic value for money is open…
Fantastic value for money and is open 24hrs.
Plenty of equipment.
But unfortunately there is only one cold shower and the water doesn't run for longer than 2/3 secs before you have to press it again.

Customer Service is important!
Guy on reception was rude when I asked to be let out as I was trialing a class by using a free pass on 17th June - stating I shouldn't have been given free passes!
Assistant Manager Richard and all other trainers have been great, but
customer service by ALL employees is important!
