So disappointed .. 4 out of 5 times I have tried to go ( quiet hours so not staffed ) my qr code has not allowed access . The staff have been very helpful on line and in person but the problem not resolved- my account active and qr code works some time ... But the next time I go it doesn't work , and If no staff can't get in . Such a shame. I have cancelled regretably.

JD Gyms hate Disabled Veterans.
Absolutely shocking gym. Music sets of my tinnitus tried to cancel. I'm a military veteran and received this on operations. But in the small print you have to give 30 days notice so if you don't like it you are stuck with another payment. Avoid like the plague. So I have to pay for a gym that makes me ill. Customer services are responsible. I had named the person responsible but JD complained quickest they ever replied it was weeks from my first email. Managed to cancel the DD from my bank before it came out so I've not paid for it. Plus got at least 5 other veterans to cancel their membership because of this.

False advertising
On the website the first month was advertised as £15 with a rolling no obligation contract. I signed up to then get an email through saying my second month would be taken on 'X' date and then I was into the rolling contract, I had to pay for the second month.
This is a contract. I shouldn't have to read through the small print to find out if your clear statement of no contract is true or not. I understand the money making of it. You're securing a total of £22.50 on average over two months but it isn't honest and it's unfairly deceiving. You're relying on people just accepting the situation like many will rather than cancelling the membership like myself.

The gym has lots of equipment for every exercise.
The unit that it's in is huge so there's lots of space.
Unfortunately the reason why I couldn't give it a 5 star is the carpark is quite small.
It is a very clean gym and you always see cleaning staff working hard.

Realy good so far!
Realy good so far, always spotless and clean. Plenty of space. One downfall for me so far is the advertised class wasnt correct last week so ended up in the wrong class by mistake. Apart from that, all good!!

The gym is kept clean & tidy… it’s the first time I’ve trained in a commercial gym for over 10 years & the tripods & video people are using the equipment for far to long.. I use the racks most sessions but only for 15 minutes or so when others are on the for over a hour….. And why do people walk around with their kit bags instead of just putting them in the lockers??? What have they got in there that’s so precious 😂😂

my scanner seems to only work once a…
my scanner seems to only work once a day, would be nice to be able to come and go as i please multiple times a day, also no one seems to wipe down the machines or benches after they are finished, maybe some signage to remind people may work not really to sure but some work on these two aspects would be appreciated

Decent gym with good equipment
Decent gym with good equipment. However the assault bikes are always broken or no batteries it defo needs new assault bikes. Also might be worth getting Bike Ergs as they would be a great addition. Between the powerlifting downstairs and other users there’s not much of room in the evenings to do a workout around the CrossFit area. Scope to move it upstairs??

Good Gym, But More Dumbbells Needed for Women’s Workouts
I’ve generally had a positive experience using the ladies-only area, but I think it could be improved by adding more dumbbells in the 1–10 kg range. Right now, there’s only one set of each weight, which often means that the dumbbells I need are already in use. Women’s fitness today emphasizes a lot of free weight lifting, and as a result, the lighter weights (around 3, 4, and 5 kg) are in high demand. Having only one set of each means that we often have to wait or adjust our workouts, which can be frustrating.
I believe it’s important to treat women’s fitness with the same level of consideration as men’s. Not all women are capable in lifting heavy, and many of us prefer to train in the ladies-only space for comfort and focus. However, we still deserve access to the equipment we need, especially when it comes to the weights that are most suitable for our workouts. More availability of lighter dumbbells would make a big difference.

Good gym, lots of machines and big free weight area, machines ive used all work, people seem nice and all seems pretty clean.
Only negative is the bike stands are tiny and I can't lock my bike to them so I have to lock it up behind the bins!

Poor internet, wasn’t able to gain entry do to poor signal. Not many classes or choice. Very dated in ladies gym area. Not worth the money
