Booked a car they were unable to deliver on...
We hired a car abroad to be able to attend a family funeral. We were flying with Jet2 so thought booking a car with them and giving them our flight number would help with a smooth experience.
Our flight was due in at 8:35pm, we were told we would be picked up via shuttle bus at 8:55pm ... we found out after arriving at the airport that the last pick up via their shuttle bus to go get your car as the desk was not at the airport terminal was 8:30pm because they closed their desk at 9pm.
How on earth could they take that reservation knowing what time the flight was due and what time the car rental desk closed?
They left us stranded at night. We were just really lucky we could call on friends otherwise we would have been in a really precarious predicament with no transport.
We tried phoning the car hire company as stated on the booking confirmation - the number was invalid
We were told on the night by their help desk that the bus was coming. It did not.
We were told that all the details of the issue was being recorded to 'Protect our Rights' - it was not.
Because we couldn't phone the office the next morning we visited the office in person to be told by an extremely rude and unhelpful member of staff that we were too late (by 2 hours) and it was our fault, our car had already been rented out... but they could rent us a tiny car for 4 times the price.
8 days later tried emailing a complaint to follow up the live chat complaint and request for refund completely ignored.
4 days after that followed up with another live chat, they had no record of the incident or the complaint.
Thankfully I kept a screen dump of all Live Chat correspondence to prove to our credit card company that we have tried on more than one occasion to contact them directly to resolve the issue of 'Non-delivery' of service. I think it is the only way we are going to be able to resolve the issue.
Will never use again. Not even sure if I would use Jet2 holidays on principle even though this was a Car Hire.
Lesson is - never use a car hire website associated with your flight. They don't seem to know what they are doing or how to treat customers when things go wrong.

They are the most racist people on earth and they are targeting us specifically and they are very rude and threaten to take you off the plane I just said I wanted to get apple juice and they said no and then I saw them giving it to another customer how is this fair at the end they made some fake policy and made us go back the staff are very hard to talk to they constantly ignore you the booking process to look like a whole 2 hours

J’ai été très déçu par mon expérience avec Jet2holidays. Le service client et le personnel de cabine m’ont donné le sentiment d’être traités avec très peu de respect et d’empathie. Leur attitude m’a paru arrogante et peu professionnelle, ce qui a rendu le voyage très désagréable.
J’ai également trouvé que la qualité de la nourriture était très mauvaise et ne correspondait pas à ce que j’attendais.
Enfin, certains comportements de membres du personnel m’ont donné le sentiment d’avoir été traité différemment en raison de mes origines. C’est le ressenti que j’ai personnellement eu durant ce voyage, et j’espère que la compagnie prendra ces remarques au sérieux afin d’améliorer le respect de tous ses passagers.

My experience with Jet2holidays was unacceptable. During check-in, I heard a staff member refer to me as "Moro," a racist and deeply offensive term used against Moroccans in Spain. I was shocked and humiliated by this behavior.
The attitude of the staff throughout the process was disrespectful and made me feel that I was being treated differently because of my background. No customer should ever have to experience this
For this reason, I cannot recommend Jet2holidays to other travelers. If you expect to be treated with respect and dignity regardless of your nationality or background, I would advise you to consider another company. I hope Jet2holidays investigates this incident, holds those responsible accountable, and takes real action to prevent discrimination in the future.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Jet2. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful throughout the whole situation. When my flight was cancelled, I received very little information or assistance, and no effort was made to help passengers with alternative arrangements.
What made the experience even worse was the lack of compensation or support following the cancellation. I expected much better customer service and communication from an airline. Overall, this was a frustrating and stressful experience, and I would think twice before booking with Jet2 again.

Do NOT book with this airline — Blatant Discrimination
Avoid this company at all costs. They recently refused to let a group of 5 Muslim passengers board their flight at the very last minute, right at the boarding gate. These passengers had valid tickets, went through security, and waited for hours at the airport, only to be turned away solely because of their names and because some had beards.
This is clear profiling and unacceptable racism. If you care about basic human rights and fair treatment, do not give this airline your money. You are not safe booking with a company that discriminates so blatantly.
