FROM HIS FIRST PIECE , made from broken vintage items found at London’s Portobello Market, Jianhui has been creating versatile sustainable fashion from recycled and upcycled materials for almost two decades. His hand crafted wearable art is loved not only by style icons such as Iris Apfel and celebrities like Lily Tomlin, Dame Prue Leith but also prestigious art museums such as MoMa, Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and Museum of Art and Design in NYC runs a special exhibition for Jianhui’s sustainable designs on Earth Day every year. Sustainability is not a trend, but a mission to use resources well and help make our planet greener. This belief is central to everything he does, with his recycled leather collection winning a sustainability award at the NY Now show and his ‘Aqua’ collection being made entirely by hand from recycled plastic bottles and newspapers. Jianhui’s designs and the way he recycles materials have been used as examples in Smithsonian’s text book about climate and sustainability for its worldwide youth education. Jianhui has also been invited for a talk at the Climate School of Columbia University during the Climate Week in 2023. And above all, his designs are flamboyant, playful and simply JUST BEAUTIFUL.

This artist is the most creative one I know. His pieces are not only beautiful but wearable and light. There is something so beautiful, so close to the beauty and splendor of nature. that I love all his work. Besides his amazing pieces, his appreciation on how they look on women who wear them, this artist is an honest responsible human being. I don’t know how to use the internet very well, and I thought I had bought only one piece. But no, I had clicked twice. He noticed my error, wrote immediately, asked if I meant to buy two of the same art, I realized my error, I wrote to him admitting my error, he cancelled the second order, kept in touch until my money had been returned to my bank. This gentleman is not only a first class artist but he is also a very honest decent trustworthy person. He has my appreciation, my gratitude, and my heart. ❤️

Matching Earrings
You made the ear rings to match the necklace and thru are perfect! Unfortunately I had to pay $22+ duties and fees so won't be ordering anything again anytime soon.

I'm so sorry to hear about the duty. When we were booking the shipping label on UPS website, it says 'duty 0'. That's why we chose to let you pay for it (if we chose to pay for this $0.00 duty, UPS will still charge us £5.30 admin fee).
We always pay for all duties for our customers despite UPS charges us £5.30 (about $7.00) for admin fee for processing duty for us. But sometimes on its website, somehow for our US customers, it says 'duty 0'. Their website is very unreliable.

Sorry to hear that the hand painted rectangular necklace you bought wasn't something you expected. Our photos online show you how it looks on someone. If you need any more detail, I'd advice you to read the description before you buy which tells you the material, length and sometimes about how it was made.
This design has actually been very popular among boutique stores, museum stores and our own online store since we launched it 8 years ago.

Very happy to know that you love the quality and uniqueness of our designs and your order has arrived within the normal delivery time. As we mentioned on our website, post office delivery service is 7-10 working days. Your order actually took 7 working days to arrive: you placed the order at 9:27pm on the 11th May. Today is the 20th May. So it's exactly 7 WORKING days.
If you wanted a faster service, you should've chosen our UPS express service which takes 2-3 working day from our office in the UK to your home in the US.
You emailed me at 17:13 on the 17th May to ask me about the delivery, I replied to you on at 20:10 on the same day, although I was travelling from the UK to the US.
You then emailed me again about the delivery at 6:41am on the 19th May, yesterday. I replied to you at 7:01am on the same day to explain again how long it may take for the necklace to arrive with post office service.
Many of our US customers said our delivery service is faster than most of their online purchases in the US. And as an independent designer, I am very proud to tell you that so far in my 20+ years of business history, you are the 1st and only one who thinks our delivery is very slow. If you have time, please do read our 100s of reviews from our worldwide customers. By the way, we only started Trustpilot review 3 years ago.

I have purchased several other things from you. I am a little disappointed by how much several of the leather piece necklaces look alike. In the photo of the model wearing 3 or 4 necklaces they look like they vary more. That being said, I continue to love your jewelry and wish I could afford more.

About the hand painted leather necklaces, if they are painted at the same time, then there's less difference in between them. If they were painted at different times, then there might be a bigger difference. It's very difficult to make them exactly the same, but we always to to make the difference as little as possible because we want our customers to buy what they see online, otherwise we may get lots of complaints.
