Karen Hedges at John Payne Blackheath helped us purchase a new house. She helped us by getting us in to view properties that we hadn't thought about. Once we found the one we loved she helped solve problems along the way, was extremely supportive and seemed to genuinely care about us getting the outcome we wanted. We really appreciated how she kept us in touch and explained what was happening at each stage . It was really reassuring to have her knowledge and experience through what is a stressful process.

After having several Estate Agents value the house it was an easy choice to pick John Payne. Obviously very knowledgeable on the local market, but most importantly very easy to work with. Everyone I dealt with at the branch in Lee-SE12 was great, from Will's valuation, Max's sale and the support of Pauline and manager Chris. It was rather daunting to be selling a vacant property from some distance away, but the team kept in touch and helped me through all the steps of the sale. I would have no hesitation to recommend them.

Romi and the team at John Payne Lee have been fantastic in helping our move to Lee. From the first viewing, making an offer, and signing documents until getting the keys to our new rental, Romi was so helpful and really quick to respond. We only had 2 weeks from the viewing date to move out, and Romi made the experience stress free.

Sneaky Estate Agent, just saying anything to get us to purchase the property. Questioned damp on inside of window and was told that was only moisture as house had been unoccupied. Then later viewed the garden and the occupants washing was outside! Unless they'd left it for a 6 months to dry we didn't really appreciate the need for an outright lie

I chose John Payne to sell the house as they are an established local Estate Agent who have been serving this area for decades.
Chris oversaw the initial introduction and estimation and was clearly very knowledgeable about the type of house, the local area, the current housing climate and his advice and recommendations were accurate and informative.
Chris and his team, Max & Will, were extremely helpful throughout the process with regular calls and emails alerting me to viewings, feedback from the viewings and timely updates as to the progress of the sale once the sale had been agreed.
Their liaising with the buyers and solicitors was prompt and informative and no chasing was necessary.

Dealing with Oliver was a game changer. My house sold immediately and the whole process was very smooth and professional. Selling a house can be very stressful but I would have no hesitation in recommending this Estate Agent, they dealt with everything in a calm, efficient way. They aren't the cheapest but they absolutely get the job done. Money well spent.
