I apologise for such a belated review, but I had the fortune of using JW Davies for my conveyancing. The sale finally completed last January after five stressful months. Had it not been for both Anne-Marie’s and Katie’s persistence and patience with the rest of the chain, I am convinced that the sale would never have completed. They were also both lovely to deal with. The whole process at their end was so efficient and had everything completed well ahead of the various deadlines. I really could not have asked for more. The firm overall are extremely friendly and offer a great service. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. Thank you so much.

We have completed today. Theresa Drummond acted for us and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She kept us informed all the way through the process and replied quickly and efficiently to any queries we had. Theresa made the sale of the house as stress free as possible. John W Davies offer very good value for money and I would recommend them to anyone needing conveyancing services .

Avoid at all costs.
I have used these solicitors twice. The first time was very pleased with their service. The second time has been advised wrongly, which resulted in paying over £4000 in Stamp Duty from which I was exempt. I have contacted them with regard to this problem and was told it was my fault as I accepted the payment...
Tried to complain to them through their Complains Policy just to be referred to the same person I have complained about.

Outstanding. I took quotes from plenty of conveyancing solicitors but so pleased we went for JWD. From the very start, Rhiannon was prompt and professional, demonstrating superb communication skills. Navigating Covid-19 was not a problem, despite the failings of other solicitors in the chain, and we completed successfully on time and under budget. Top quality service - very strongly recommend.

Dreadful firm. Recommend you avoid at all costs. Continual mistakes and failings which when pointed out, the weak 'Office Manager' resorts to a frankly pathetic display of bullying.

JWD dealt with both our sale and purchase and we couldn't be happier with the service provided. Our solicitor was Rhiannon Pollard and she was fantastic, very responsive by email and phone, calm and professional at all times and always listened to my endless questions. I used JWD on a recommendation from a friend. I was extremely happy with the service, especially given that it was during COVID-19 so it made things understandably more difficult.

They were able to get my first house purchase over the line and Theresa was always on hand to answer my phone calls when I needed her help, she was truly awesome!

As a first time buyer it was important for me to find a solicitor who would be available to answer my (many) questions in a timely and professional manner and would hold my hand along the process. My first solicitor was Rebecca Thorne, I only had a few exchanges with her as then Covid-19 kicked in. She was a bit tricky to get hold of on the phone but very responsive via emails and I managed to arrange calls with her through emails. She was nice and professional and made sure my concerns and questions were forwarded onto the seller's solicitor. Then with Covid-19 it could have been a massive let down but Rhiannon Pollard picked up my case and she was AMAZING. She was nice, professional and understanding. She always responded to me and corresponded with the seller's solicitor super quickly and she gave me very detailed information. Thanks to them both I completed within 3 months, even with Covid-19 in the way! I am super happy with the service JWD provided - Thank you! Would 100% recommend.

Buying our first home seemed like a challenge but thanks to Rebecca Thorne at John W Davies it was a great experience. She took charge of the process and helped us nagivate through it, she was always available and answered all of our (many questions) instantly. I bought my first house with the help of JWD.
I highly recommend using them. They really went above and beyond in terms of the help and advice given, not to mention all the work they put in. It helped a lot with being a first time buyer and being completely clueless and also with working away, accommodating that as well.
Paul was the solicitor working on my case and he was brilliant. He helped me through the whole process and put in a lot of work to get things sorted. Especially in dealing with uncooperative sellers.
