Joyfolie never disappoints me! Every time I order from them, I’m always impressed by the quality, beauty, and attention to detail of their products. You can really tell that they put so much care into everything they create. The items are not only gorgeous and stylish, but they also feel well-made and worth the purchase.
What makes my experience even better is their amazing customer service. They are always helpful, responsive, kind, and professional whenever I have a question or concern. It’s so refreshing to shop with a company that genuinely seems to care about its customers and wants to make sure they have a positive experience from beginning to end.
I’ve ordered from Joyfolie multiple times, and they continue to exceed my expectations. Their products are beautiful, their quality is superb, and their customer service is just as wonderful. We’d like to clarify how the review reporting process works, as businesses do not have the ability to independently delete or remove reviews from Trustpilot.
Trustpilot provides reporting tools that allow content to be flagged when there is a concern that it may not comply with the platform’s guidelines. When a review is flagged, Trustpilot—not Joyfolie—reviews the content and independently determines whether it meets their guidelines and whether any action is appropriate. Flagging a review does not automatically result in its removal.
We fully recognize that customers are entitled to share both positive and negative experiences, and a review being negative alone is not a reason for it to be removed. At the same time, businesses are permitted to use the reporting tools provided by the platform when there is a concern about whether content complies with Trustpilot’s guidelines.
We believe it is important to distinguish between reporting content for independent review and having the ability to remove that content ourselves. The final decision regarding whether a review remains published belongs to Trustpilot.
We respect every customer’s right to express their experience and opinion, just as we reserve the right to respond, provide clarification, and appropriately use the tools made available to businesses by the review platform.
Beware of returns policy
What it feels like talking to their Customer Service…..sorry but not sorry.
That’s pretty much what you get. I suggest you dont get the size wrong, don’t have any issues and don’t wait too long to return because they literally don’t seem to care at all. They took my money as a “DONATION” because the dress is unusable by me and no option to return or get a refund. The email they sent solved nothing. Left me with a a dress that is now as useful as a cloth paperweight that I feel makes me look like a sad child from the Middle Ages because it HANGS on you due to the size.….I felt completely gaslight by the response I got back.
Sadly, even though I have ordered with them before, I have no respect places with a very unreasonable return policy. As a business, you need to try and be somewhat accommodating with returns. I will spend money elsewhere. And trying to report my review multiple times to have it removed when I am simply comparing how it felt working with this company says all you need to know.
UPDATE:
I don’t even remotely have any interest in reading whatever they decided to write in response to this. They must know that their policies are not well communicated, I have even read on here other return stories that are similar. So I have no interest in their “We are so sorry”. NO THEY DON'T SEEM TO BE SORRY. The return and exchange policy does not offer much flexability to their customers. Half their items are on sale and the return section is extremely confusing for sale item returns, and then when people have a problem, they try to be as nice as possible, but still do not appear care. I pretty much have no use for the dress. It looks like a sack of potatoes on me.
Don’t take my word for it, on their website look at all of the teeny tiny separate specifications and details that they have for returns and exchanges. It’s absolutely ridiculous. It is almost impossible to decipher the stereo instructions that are their sales returns and exchanges. Which just tells you all you need to know.!!
UPDATE AGAIN:
I am just guessing here, because my review was not taken down anfter being reported, they edited their response. And once again, I do not care what they have to say to try to defend their returns policy. I will not read it and I suggest you don’t either. I feel It is not a customer friendly return policy and it is confusing. I feel personally, that is deceptive. If one who is reading this review was also to go to other places other than their website, and read reviews. I believe you would find similar complaints.

When concerns are raised publicly about our policies, customer service, and how a purchase was handled, we believe it is important to provide the relevant facts and context for transparency. Our intention is not to change your personal opinion, but to ensure the circumstances are accurately represented for anyone reading this review.
The dress purchased was designated as a Final Sale item, meaning it is not eligible for return or exchange. We understand that you feel this was not communicated clearly enough. However, the Final Sale designation appears on the product page directly below the Add to Cart button, making the item's status available before purchase. Complete terms regarding Final Sale, discounted, and promotional merchandise are also available on our dedicated Return Policy page.
Like other online retailers, we maintain a separate policy page because it is not practical to reproduce every return and exchange condition on every page of a website. Different purchase types have different eligibility requirements, which is why a comprehensive policy page exists. At the same time, important product-specific information such as the Final Sale designation is displayed directly on the applicable product page.
It is also important to explain why Final Sale merchandise has different terms. Final Sale items are significantly marked down, often to a fraction of their original retail price. In this case, the dress was offered for less than half of its original price. If it were being sold under our standard return and exchange terms, it would not have been offered at that same deeply discounted price. The reduced price and Final Sale restriction are therefore connected.
These guidelines allow us to offer deeper markdowns while maintaining consistent standards for customers who purchase under the same conditions. Making exceptions after a Final Sale purchase would mean applying different terms to customers who purchased merchandise under the same stated policy.
We recognize that the dress did not fit as expected. However, fit can vary between styles and individuals, and an item not fitting does not change the Final Sale terms under which it was purchased. To help customers make informed sizing decisions, each product has its own garment measurements available on the product page. Because measurements and silhouettes vary between designs, we recommend reviewing the specific garment measurements before ordering, particularly for Final Sale purchases. Our Customer Care team is also available to assist with sizing questions before an order is placed.
When you contacted us, our team reviewed your order and explained why the return could not be accepted. Providing that information was not intended to dismiss or minimize your concerns. While receiving an answer you disagree with can be frustrating, our team responded according to the terms associated with the purchase.
We also want to clarify that we did not take your payment as a “donation.” The dress was purchased at a significantly reduced Final Sale price and fulfilled as ordered. The fact that the fit ultimately did not work does not make an otherwise Final Sale purchase eligible for return.
The item's Final Sale status, garment measurements, and applicable return terms were available before purchase, and our Customer Care team provided the same information when you contacted us. We have followed the terms that applied to the item at the time of purchase and provided the available information and assistance accordingly.

The $0 Return: How Joyfolie Erases Store Credit on Returned Items
If I could give this company 1 million negative stars I would. I returned physical items I paid real money for. Joyfolie issued "store credit," but quietly expired it after just 60 days. Now they’ve kept BOTH my returned merchandise and my money!
When called out, they claimed store credit on sale items is a "promotional credit" so they can delete your balance. Under the Federal CARD Act (12 CFR § 1005.20), store credits for returned goods cannot legally expire in less than 5 years.
Classifying customer return value as an expiring "promo" to keep people's money is a HUGE red flag! Do NOT shop with this company anymore! I shared my experience and they deleted every single comment, including other peoples comments.

We would not implement or maintain a policy that we believe violates applicable federal or state regulations.
Although your store credit had already expired approximately 8 months ago, we reviewed your case once more and, as a gesture of goodwill, offered a one-time courtesy exception by temporarily reinstating your store credit so you would have another opportunity to use it. Since extending that exception, we have not received any further response from you via email regarding the offer.
We recognize that we may not agree on the interpretation of the applicable law, but we remain committed to applying our policies consistently and treating every customer fairly. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to review your concerns.
Gorgeous Products
The products this company has are amazing! The clothes are so beautiful that I have multiple articles in all the colors offered. They do offer good discounts once in a while. I have had to deal with their customer service a few times. They have always been friendly and helpful even tho I may disagree on some of their policies. If you're thinking about purchasing from them and have questions, reach out first, otherwise it may be difficult to return or exchange. They have always made it right or come close to that. I still purchase from them cause their clothes are gorgeous and of good quality.

This dress my Daughter has is so dreamy. We initially got it for her bday as a fancier version of a Lilo dress and it still fits her today. She doesn't need any help with needing the lines of the dress to help her figure but she's absolutely gorgeous in this dress! I highly recommend this company! I've ordered multiple dresses and they're GORGEOUS. However, I am on the larger end of the size scale and have struggled with some of the sizing. But I reached out to customer service for advice, and they have been AMAZING at helping me, going into great details with measurements and suggestions and their opinions. I am so grateful! Their patience has been unending with all my questions. The return and exchange process was excellent, as well. I'll definitely continue to shop here for amazing photo shoot dresses!

My daughter is an aspiring model and influencer. She does many photoshoots in which we are always looking for new designers and styles to try. This was her second dress from Joyfolie and it is quickly becoming her favorite. The dress arrived on time in perfect condition. The quality of materials is exceptional and well made. She loves the little charm on the tag. It gives it such a warm feeling. She loves the boho variety they offer.

I have an exemplary experience with…customer service
I have an exemplary experience with Joyfolie--and most specifically their customer service. I ordered shoes for my daughter to wear as a flower girl in our niece's wedding. It is hard to buy shoes for a young growing person online. Initially the shoes I ordered were too small. I returned them for a larger size (size 3). The size was correct by the heel was too high and we decided we should return them for flats. I returned the heels for size 3 flats. They arrives and were the perfect look, but too big. I tried to return them, however, I had reached the max number of times i could return something. I contacted customer service and initially was told I could not return these. I responded to explain that the heels fit in size 3 and the flats were too big and they granted me an exception and accepted my return. I then asked if they could expedite sending the new shoes because our date of travel was rapidly approaching and they also granted this exception. I am exceedingly impressed and surprised that there is a caring, considerate, understanding person on the other side of the email who was willing to understand my perspective and grant these reasonable exceptions. You really don't get customer service like this any more. I will continue to recommend this company to my family and friends. Thank you!
