Absolutely fantastic customer service
Absolutely fantastic customer service from KAM.
We had a problem develop whilst driving down the A38, which was caused by poor workmanship from a different garage that we had recently had work done at. Calling around, KAM @ Belper was the nearest place still open, and although they were due to close for day, they were happy to have a look, fix the problem and get us back on the road! It was not too much trouble and they gave us helpful advice. We have decided due to their customer service and going out of their way, we will be using them for all future car maintenance & repairs.
Never again
Will never use this garage again. Car went in for a lot of work to get through MOT, car was returned with warning light on, when I contacted the garage was told I would have to pay again to have put on diagnostic machine and needed work that should have been carried out before MOT. Have now found a garage that I can trust

Hidden Fees and Questionable Service: A Customer's Frustration
My recent experience at this garage was significantly disappointing compared to previous visits. Despite owning a relatively new vehicle, it failed its MOT due to an issue with the headlight alignment, which I understand is a regulatory requirement, but it took 5 min to align the light. However, the communication surrounding this was poor. I was promised a callback within five minutes, which I missed due to a work meeting. Subsequently, the following day, I received a message indicating the windscreen washer fluid was low, suggesting an incomplete full service. This has eroded my trust in the thoroughness of their work.
Furthermore, there was a discrepancy in pricing. The online booking quoted £179 for the service, but I was ultimately charged £215 (service only) due to the specific engine oil required. Given that the garage collects the vehicle registration number during the online booking process, they should have been able to determine the correct oil and provide an accurate quote upfront. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the service and the communication, and I will be considering alternative garages in the future.

Unfortunately I can't put a minus review, wish I could......Just wondering why my review isn't on here? Perhaps its because it's not the best for Kams? had my car recovered to these ( and they charged me for it even though I'd paid via my insurance) they apparently fixed my clutch, one hour later there was another fault... Luckily they fixed it with a cable tie!!!!

I took my car for MOT and full service, ended up needing to do a few extra things but Stu showed me the pictures and videos of how my old parts were and they all definitely needed being fixed/changed, so all great from their side.
Helpful and trustworthy
I thought there was something wrong with the clutch, so I found a garage to check it for me, but I was only available on Sunday, so I went to Kam Servicing. I made an appointment and went to them to check it for me immediately. After the inspection, there was no problem. They told me that if there was really a problem, I could take it back for them to check again. They’re really helpful and trustworthy.
Not MOT friendly
My car failed it’s MOT on one of the headlight not being aligned properly in a certain tolerance, from experience my previous garage which I always use would have done this FREE of charge no bother at all as it takes 2 minutes and that includes the time to lift the bonnet up too but KAM motors charged me £23.99 to adjust it, never again will I take a motor there nor will I recommend to any of my friends that was a blatant excuse to get extra money in there kitty in my opinion.

Very worried as my car wouldn't start
Phoned Kams and within 45 minutes received a call to say they would fetch it.
Three hours later another call to say it was ready and would be delivered back to me. Excellent service, everything explained to me by friendly, considerate staff. Very pleased with whole experience.
The staff were ok, did not add my screen wash as on the itinerary and the doors were dirty and scuffed
The staff were friendly and serviced my car but did not add the car wash which I wasn’t happy. Also my steering wheel and seat belt were damp. There were scuff marks on the inside of my car door. I was not able to use my NHS identity card and blue light card, although they said this branch does not accept them. Also my fault I didn’t read the small print on the confirmation email which you need to read. If you drive a newer car then you pay more for an expensive oil change.

Called in to Sinfin Garage mid-morning…
Called in to Sinfin Garage mid-morning with a sudden bad puncture. It would not hold any more air. Was immediately offered order of new tyre for lunchtime. As almost due for new tyres, I ordered 4 and was told they should be delivered by lunchtime and I should have car back for 2-30. This was so, and I was given a lift each way as not very steady walking.
Not impressed…
Not impressed and ended up costing more money and time trying to get car fixed. Had made very clear what the issue was with the car and would have to deliver by tow truck. They took a look under the bonnet and said what I already knew, ie. Fuel leak all over engine but as at the back (which I'd already told them), they couldn't check to repair as didn't have the equipment to do this. So had to arrange a further tow truck to a different garage. Not first time I've had an issue which I've explained and then turned away.
