I bought a standing Planet lamp a year ago. Took 3 months to come from Italy. Worked fine for a couple of days then wouldn't respond to touch. Vendor (in Dunedin NZ) came to check, got a shock from lamp. Lamp was returned. New Lamp arrived and was to be checked instore. Told not to pick up as wouldn't light up at all. Told 3rd Lamp was coming. Declined. Never told source of problem, although asked. Suspect wrong polarity sent from Italy. No apology from company. $2,450.00 returned minus the $50.00 visa fee. Never going near Kartell again.

Attention! Le service clientèle de Kartell est très réactif mais pour annoncer au client qu'il se dédouane de toute garantie en ce qui concerne le fait que 6 ampoules ont grillé dans les 2 jours suivant l'installation d'un lustre Khan! ( par un électricien pro !)
Les ampoules ne seront pas remplacées au motif que Kartell n'expédie pas les ampoules. Mensonge ! Puisque j'en avais commandé 2 de réserve qui m'avaient été expédiées en même temps mais séparément du lustre dont le colis contenait les 8 ampoules d'origine ( toutes made in China, of course ).
Ces 2 ampoules de réserve, on grillé aussi +/- 24h après avoir été placées sur le lustre.
Bref, un conseil, mieux vaut passer par un magasin revendeur que d'acheter directement sur le site de Kartell comme je l'ai fait!
Je suis maintenant coincée avec un Khan installé mais qui ne fonctionne qu'à moitié et je suis obligée de racheter en magasin 6 ampoules, pour remplacer les défectueuses, malgré leur soi-disant garantie Kartell !😤
Par mesure de rétorsion je renonce à acheter la grande lampe Kabuki noire dont j'avais pourtant très envie !

Wir haben zwei teure Tischlampen gekauft. Nach weniger als 18 Monaten sind beiden Lampen durchgebrannt, eine beim Ladevorgang explodiert.
Obwohl wir mehrere Mails + Website-Formulare mit Photos als Anlage an Kartell geschickt haben, bekommen wir überhaupt kein Reaktion. Nichts, absolut gar keine Antwort.
Dir Firma interessiert sich schlicht nicht für ihre fehlerhafte Qualität.
Obwohl schönes Design - Hände weg!

Two purchases online,
both went well. One of them had a small issue with the delivery company that intended to deliver in Germany, But Kartell took good care of it, and solved everything quick. very quick delivery. And of course great quality.

I bought a Planet Designer lamp from the Kartell store in Vienna in January 2021. I loved this lamp very much. Now after 4 years I got a slight electric shock when I turned on the touch function and the LEDs went out. As there is no longer a flagship store in Vienna, I contacted Kartell.com directly. They offered me a 20% voucher for a new lamp, regardless of the fact that I had paid a price of 610 euros at the time. Now a new lamp would cost me 740 euros, including a 20% discount on the price on the website. And this despite the fact that the lamp is defective, because I have done nothing to the lamp except switch it on and off. In addition, my model (model before 05 2022) cannot be repaired, as I got informed. The new models can. I am very disappointed because the lamp really costs a lot of money and I have to dispose of the whole lamp after only 4 years. I can't and won't buy a new one under these circumstances.

I have asked Kartell to make me a fair offer for a new lamp, because I can't even get it repaired and I don't understand why I now have to pay even more to have another lamp at home than I paid at the time. I did not expected to pay nothing for a new appliance and would even have been prepared to pay EUR 400 for a replacement. That's 2/3 of the purchase price at the time and just under half of the current purchase price. I think that as more than enough for a quality-defected lamp But the company didn't even get back to me or reply after my last two emails!!! It's a shame and really sad and disappointing. Better not buy there!!!
