My favourite special dress!
Lovely lightweight fabric, perfect for spring, summer (obvs not on the hottest days-long sleeved!)
The contrasting red trim on the pockets and collar & button holes really lift it from ordinary print to something classier.
Fabric is light cotton, fully voile lined which helps with the drape.
Belt is generous, unlike the first linen coat dress I bought from KB, (though this issue got sorted as KB had longer belts made) until now this was my all time fave dress as such gorgeous heavy weight linen fabric & weight for cooler days.

Great denim dress
Great denim dress, my fourth purchase from Kate Barton. Quality fabric, fit is very flattering, will take me anywhere. Wear it with boots in the winter and sandals on warmer days. I get loads of compliments when wearing your dresses, have passed website address on to lots of people too !!

Love the quality of the clothes but…….
Love the quality of the clothes, but the packaging isn’t what one would expect for the price, even in the sale.
Compared to Poetry, which is at a similar price range,
there is no comparison. Whilst a brown paper bag and one piece of tissue to wrap a voluminous dress may be eco friendly and cheap, it does somewhat spoil the excitement of receiving a new piece of clothing. Receiving something from Poetry is at a whole different level ….. quality cardboard box and layers of quality tissue paper make it special.

Thank you for your feedback on how the packaging appeared on delivery. As an online brand, we are very conscious of avoiding excess packaging with all deliveries. That said, we of course want the products to arrive safely and well presented. We will check with our warehouse to ensure all deliveries are being sent appropriately. We certainly do avoid excessive boxes deliberately, so we may not compare with other brands on that front. This is a conscious decision.

I bought this as a denim pinafore…
I bought this as a denim pinafore before and when I saw this summer version I thought it would be great for the summer holidays. I was not disappointed when it arrived . The linen is of a good weight and the petite length is perfect for me as I am 5ft 4ins. I just can’t wait now for the warm weather to arrive so I can wear it.

Don’t shop on Instagram late at night
The trousers were not the quality I expected. They hang all wrong, which was not only down to an awkward cut but also the flimsy nature of the cord material. With the price of P&P here and back, it cost me £7 just to try them. Will stick with TOAST and COS from now on - much better quality, free shipping and returns.
