Just purchased my new Renault Captur Alpine from Diarmuid in Cork. Brilliant deal done and very smooth. Very good communicator. Was a bit anxious about purchasing a car so far away but have to say could not fault the service I received. They even delivered my new car straight to my door in Louth from Cork wow and a good tank of fuel. Paperwork also arrived so quick. Very efficient. Love my car 💙. Thanks Diarmuid.

Since I posted my review "When is a warranty not a warranty" - Kearys Motor group.
i did get a reply from them but when I reached out to them i got no reply.
do they just put up a reply and leave it at that.
has anybody who had a problem with them ever heard back from them or is it just me.
Still waiting on kearys to contact me.

I was quoted 250efor a s3ervice last week. however I subsequently got a call to say my micra needed front brake pads and discs which would cost me 550e in addition to the service charge of 250e. total 800e.
I told them I would NOT pay that kind of money. I authorised them to go ahead with the service alone and paid my 250e. Two days later I got my brake pads and discs done for 290e by a very reputable dealer. That experience has really disgusted me. Its nothing short of robbery. Its my first time buying a car from Keareys and I cannot see myself ever going back to them again.

How much more detail do you require, the complaint is about the manager, my next purchase will be with a different BMW dealership. Its very disappointing that your reply took so long, it does sum up Kearys

Bought a car from Carstore, little Island, waiting 3 weeks for second key, constantly asking when second key will arrive, dealt with Manager and all I can say is Wow!! very unprofessional, passive aggressive, constantly talking over you when you are trying to explain ones concerns, the attitude was, do want you like about complaint, after sales customer service an all time low, ive dealt with plenty of garages over the years and I have never meet someone like that. I would avoid Carstore as dealing with them has left a bad taste . I went on media platforms and was taken back about such negativity about Carstore and peoples experiences.

Wheel rims paint stripped off while vehicle was being serviced. Was told its not their problem as the paint wasn't applied properly which will mean its like that from the factory as nobody else has worked on the vehicle. I will not use Kearys again or by a Renault again as this experience is unacceptable

My first dealings with Keary’s in Cork were in April 2022 when I purchased an X-Trail. All the Nissan team members were professional and knowledgeable. I got to know all the team on first name terms and was always greeted with a coffee whenever I had occasion to visit – from Rodney at reception, Ellen in service dept., Richard Major, and Tommy O’Mahony, head of sales.
All my dealings were so positive that when the new X-Trail ePower 4Force came out last year I decided to purchase the demo model when it became available last June, even though it was just over a year since my previous purchase. A boot protector was ordered for my X-Trail and I understand it is at the garage.
Imagine my surprise when I brought my car for service to Keary’s ‘Nissan’ at 8:30 on 15th May to be ‘greeted’ by a guy who was still eating his breakfast. I asked where all the Nissan team were and he said ‘they’re gone’
Then I asked what will I do with my car? He said ‘take it to Renault’
I went to Renault and it was a bit chaotic to say the least. I explained about the boot protector and I was assured that would be sorted and they were to send an email to someone in ‘service’ to make sure.
As I live in Kinsale I wanted to make sure everything was in order before I got a lift to Cork. The guy who checked in my car said ‘we sent you a txt message’ – they did not which is why I phoned before leaving home. I asked about the boot protector and he said, yeah, that’s fine.
When I got there I asked ‘how did my car get on’ – he said abruptly ‘it’s all in the report’. Clearly he wasn’t bothered and I was not filled with confidence. Then I asked if the boot protector was in the car, again abruptly, ‘the guy didn’t reply to the email’
At this point I just wanted to get out of there.

I’ve waited until today (29th May) to do my review, hoping that there might have been some communication.

I had a fantastic experience with Diarmuid buying my car. He was very patient teaching me how to use the data screen (me not loving new technology). I’m driving the car two weeks now and love it! Deirdre Foley

Dealt with Robyn in Kearys Renault Belgard, so helpful and courteous a pleasure to deal with.

I went through an online chat last evening and left my number for a callback, interested in a new Jogger or possibly a used Scenic. This morning I get a message directly to my voicemail - nobody actually tried to call my phone - there was no missed call, just the voicemail. I just tried to call them, they hung up on me!!! If they can't be polite when I'm trying to buy, I can only imagine how horrendous they must be when they already have your money!

Went out to look at a Dacia Duster that I wanted to buy. Met Stephen at 9.30am who was extremely friendly towards me. Spend time with me going over the detail's of the car and options available to me. I was driving home in my new car by 5pm the same day. Would highly recommend Kearys in Kinsale Road.

Very poor service. No one to answer the phones. When you eventually get through the staff don't give consistent answers.
Expected to pay €180.00 for a coolant change.
This is ridiculous billing.

Thanks to Paula O Flynn, I’m very delighted with the car, she’s a great driver and thanks again for all the assistance it made the whole experience so smooth.
I’m looking forward continuing doing business with the Kearys Group.

I bought a 222reg. Clio with 31K on the clock from David, a very nice gentleman. Unfortunately, my pleasant experience ended there. I took delivery on the 26th of January 2024. When driving back from Limerick on the 24th of February, a warning light came on saying check anti pollution system. I contacted David the next working day, and he told me that the car was under the manufacturer's warranty and to contact Kearys garage at Kinsale Roundabout to have it repaired. When I contacted the service department, I was told that the earliest appointment was 9 am on Friday, 5th April.I dropped the car in as agreed last Friday, which means its now off the road for 6 weeks. I contracted Kearys workshop today Monday 8th April, to know when I could collect the car, and I've been told it will be another 2 weeks as they are waiting for a part which is on back order. I've worked in the motor trade and in transport generally since 1960 and had some bad experiences but I think this one is the worst of all.

Jess was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly to deal with. I was very satisfied with my experience with Keary’s.

This was the easiest car purchase ever! Conor was professional, polite and extremely helpful. Everything was explained and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend Kearys and Conor in particular to anyone looking to buy a new or secondhand car.
