⭐☆☆☆☆ Unacceptable handling of faulty pram and refusal of refund

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from Ken Black’s Store, Wexford regarding a faulty pram I purchased.

The pram was returned after I clearly outlined the faults and requested a refund. This refund was refused, and despite multiple requests, the store has failed to provide any evidence that the pram was inspected by a qualified professional or that a proper fault assessment was carried out.

I contacted the store on numerous occasions by email seeking clarification and documentation to support their decision. Many of these emails were ignored, and the responses I did receive were inadequate and lacked transparency.

As a result of this poor handling, I was left without a stroller and without my funds, which meant I was unable to replace essential baby equipment over the Christmas period. This caused significant stress and inconvenience.

The overall level of customer service, communication, and refusal to provide basic consumer information falls well below an acceptable standard. I believe this matter has not been handled in line with Irish consumer rights, particularly in relation to faulty goods.

I would urge other consumers, especially parents purchasing essential baby items, to exercise caution when dealing with this store.

I ordered a Christmas present online for my daughter for pick up. Received an email to say cancelled no explanation. Rang shop & told im too busy haven't time to find out. Will call you back but hung up before taking a name or number. Customers are the ones keeping you in your jobs. Ridiculous to treat people like I was treated today.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Extremely rude and unhelpful. I ordered an item online that did’t work as described and they would not offer me a refund or a replacement item. I will never give them a penny again. Do yourself a favour and buy your toys from another store.

I have never come across a more ignorant manager in my life. He was so aggressive and rude to myself and my partners mother today. I have never seen anything like it. We were both in disbelief, complete and utter shock leaving the store. He let the shop down big time. Ill never be shopping in there again- what a shame.

3 year old out to pick her birthday present & needed toilet & as you know no child can hold it or should hold it !
Asked to use toilet & girls at till said no go to mc ds ,I said she needs to go now .Said company policy no one can use toilet ! Children & pregnant woman should have a right to use toilet ,get a customer toilet for this please as it's not ok .
Girl both red shirts were laughing and very rude .

Horrible place to deal with manager very very rude and unhelpfull we bought a child's bike today got it assembled the back wheel siezed we were lucky the child was not on that bike this is the 2nd time this has happened my daughter bought one for her girl was not assembled properly either and again the manager was very rude it's a toy shop customers do not need to be insulted by that couldn't care less attitude we spent a lot of money on a bike that was thrown together ....get some staff training done and get a smile on your faces and learn manners

The delivery just before Christmas was lightning fast. With great price as well. Thank you team! Well done👍💪

I recently ordered Christmas presents for my kids from Ken Black. They had a good range of stock that I couldn't order from other places and it arrived quickly too. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend.
