Kenwood Damp Proofing Reviews 

I contacted Kenwood to see if they could help with a damp and mould issue in a property I own. It was fast and easy to arrange an inspection at the property which was conducted by Travis Lerner. I received a comprehensive reports with a solution to fix the issues by installing a Kenwood ventilation system. Travis was very knowledgable and was prompt in returning my calls and emails with questions. So far a very good service from Kenwood and would recommend them as true specialists.

Moving into a new property problems with Mold and woodworm were identified by the survey, so needed addressing quickly. Kenwood were recommended by a friend and I was very happy with the service provided. In particular Travis was a great help from start to finish, providing clear and courteous and knowledgeable communications throughout the process. Great service.

This Kenwood equipment is a scam by these company. Do not buy from them. They are very very expensive and useless n hopeless. I had spend around £4000, which was a total waste. What they say, is absolutely lie and it does not do anything, beware of such companies, they give reference of Buckingham place to sell their products. Bwware of such fraud companies products.
They may not allowed this review to come up online, I am sure.

Kenwood have been great in helping get the work booked in during a really hectic time. Travis was extremely helpful in getting everything sorted so close to Christmas and went above and beyond to ensure the works were able to be carried out without any hassle.

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. Great communication, really clear overview of works/cost and flexibility on dates/payment etc. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Night and day compared to any of its competitors. Jim has been brilliant.

Shame I can’t give a minus it’s that bad ! Firstly it’s not necessarily a free survey as advertised .. I paid £168.00 for a ‘ survey ‘ where they ‘ found damp ‘ where no other company did ( funny that ) and their estimate was 3 times that of any other company !
They may have slick literature and proactive sales force but this is just smoke and mirrors to cover their extremely poor customer services .. many unanswered calls and waited 11 days for a refund . Would never use again or recommend to my worst enemy .. a con !!

From survey to order with Jim O'Malley the process was friendly, helpful, competent , quick and straightforward. Happy customer.

Had a condensation system installed in late September so it's too early to comment on it's effectiveness. However needed a letter for my managing agents to confirm the vent was sealed and fire proof, but for whatever reason they haven't provided this, despite numerous requests by phone and email.
Would advise making sure you receive all assurances before making any final payments.

We moved into a property where Kenwood 4 years ago did just shy of £10k worth of damp proofing in a room. Since then the damp has risen and Kenwood have taken no responsibility and we've had multiple surveyors, each with completely different reports. Where work has taken place and is now in need of repair due to plaster cracking, they simply have refused or not responded to the direct questioning.

The report of issues with plumbing was a complete fabrication and the next surveyor was shocked that they had said this was the cause as the damp is all around the room and not located near the washing machine.

When asking for a full report from the surveyors on site they do not provide instead get a very brief report that generally says 'not our fault, but we can quote'.

We have had separate work done in the flat due to damp and used London Waterproofing Company which was impeccable.

Tom and Reece carried out the Damp Proofing and were excellent and very professional.

Always 1-2,5 hours late to appointments, plus the electrician they worked with did something wrong in my electrical system that I got electrocuted and rushed to A&E.

they are lovely and helpful - but DO NOT trust them. they can find damp anywhere, even in the mouth of a 90's raver.

Jamie and Brenon were absolutely amazing. I needed some damp proof coursing done for a property I bought and they carried out the job to perfection with absolute professionalism. Any questions asked , were answered perfectly and both were great to have around, can not recommend enough!!

I was saddled with Kenwood because the previous owner used it for a damp course. So you become trapped in a vicious circle.

You then get persuaded to do other damp work that is identified on their surveys, which is, of course, not covered under the original scope of work.

Now they charge you 'reinspection fees'. Easiest £172 earned by coming around for ten minutes, taking a look at a wall that Kenwood has treated twice and passing the buck, blaming the guttering. There's nothing wrong with the guttering, and the exterior walls are painted with Weathershield.

You would achieve better customer retention and loyalty from someone who has spent thousands on work done by your company over the years by being proactive with your warranties. I will not use you again, ever. Especially now with these so-called reinspection fees.

Amin and Noel were great - fast and efficient. Amin has great interpersonal skills - very polite.

Kenwood were not only professional but the damp proofers on site were lovely to have around. We had an estimate and were told that some parts were expensive and not worth going forward with so we were confident that we had suggestions that were useful to the house. I would highly recommend

A Big Thank you to both Daniel & Cian, who were courteous, caring & very respectful, not just to me but also my property. They did an excellent job, very thorough, took all precautions to make sure dust was kept to the minimum, cleared up at the end of each day, I cannot praise them enough.
My thanks also to Gary, Chris Lind, infact everyone of the office staff I spoke to, all very friendly & helpfull. I'm very impressed & certainly recommend them.
