Did the 3-day combined rifle & pistol fundamentals course. Civilian, shoot regularly with a UK club, but very little pistol (as handguns are banned in the UK, of course).

First: safety was ensured at all times. If you're on the fence about doing this course because there are other strangers with guns, fear not. We didn't have anything even close to an incident. Each day starts with a safety briefing.

Instruction was clear, and the instructor made sure that everyone was happy before moving on through the various topics.

We started with the fundamentals: stance, posture, grip, sight picture. Went through handling of both weapon systems. Progressed through drills at different distances, under time pressure, with individual feedback from the instructor based on external observation. Ran drills with pistol and rifle separately, then both weapons systems, including transitions.

You finish each day with better skills than you started, and with a toolkit to keep getting better outside the course: the drills themselves, the good habits, the mindset (assess your own shooting, target areas of improvement).

KO courses stand out relative to similar courses in Europe by being more practical and hands-on. I looked at a few other options and for the same course duration they list 200-300 rounds of 5.56 and 9mm combined. Much less actual shooting, fewer opportunities to notice and correct your own mistakes, make adjustments, practice different cues. I didn't keep track of how much we shot, but going off the sheer fun of it, it must have been quite a bit more.

Facilities at the range are great, the atmosphere is pro-shooting sports in a way I have not seen in the UK. Logistics & comms smooth throughout.

All in all a great experience, highly recommended.

I recently spent some time training with Kinetic Outcomes and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The facilities are excellent — everything is well set up, professional, and clearly designed with serious training in mind.

What really stands out though is Greig. His knowledge is exceptional and he has a great way of explaining things clearly and practically. Whether you’re experienced or fairly new to shooting, he’s able to break down technique in a way that immediately improves your understanding and performance.

The coaching is structured, thoughtful, and very focused on real improvement rather than just putting rounds downrange. I came away with several practical adjustments that made a noticeable difference straight away.

If you’re looking to improve your shooting in a professional environment with top-level instruction, I would highly recommend Kinetic Outcomes. I’ll definitely be back for more training.

This is the second course I have now sat with Kinetic Outcomes.

The first was a fundamentals course that went over the basics in pistol and rifle platforms, something that I needed after sometime away from firearms, after 3 days I felt much more accurate, smooth and ready to progress.

Coming away from the fundamentals course, I then committed to sitting the advanced course which takes what you have learnt from the fundamentals and gets you to apply them while moving and transitioning between multiple targets, behind barricades, vehicles and in trenches.

These courses arent for anyone looking to just get rounds down, the lead instructor is able to observe how you shoot, build your stance, apply your grip and critique these to make you a much more faster and accurate shooter. The lead instructors passion for shooting is unlike any I have come across before and a real privilege to break down different aspects of shooting from someone who has done this in real-time.

I will now make Kinetic Outcomes in Poland my base for out of country firearms training and as the company progresses the social aspect is following, with like minded individuals, from different backgrounds and abilities who are keen to do well, give support to each other and share knowledge.

Came out for second time with KO to do the applications/advanced course.

As with the last course - outstanding. From start to finish range safety was a key focus, there was absolutely zero slack in this area as the course progressed which meant I could focus on the drills and getting better with no concerns.

The pacing and intensity of the course was great, whilst the instructors absolutely pushed us to get better - we were lead at a pace that was manageable.

Another massive benefit was having access to a large quantity of ammunition which meant drills could be conducted thoroughly - no corners cut.

The range and facilities are top notch also, unmatched by anything else I’ve seen.

Instructor very approachable and down to earth, and spent plenty of time critiquing and honing me as a shooter.

This is a perfect next step for anyone who has done the fundamentals course in the past or has prior firearms experience.

I can’t wait to get out for another course.

I cannot recommend this course enough for anyone who has an interest in firearms and shooting. Whether you just want to have some fun shooting guns for 3 days away in Poland, or if you’re seriously keen to improve your skillset and proficiency with firearms, this course is for you.

Being from the UK, you simply cannot access this kind of training at home due to firearms laws in the UK. To have the opportunity to partake in this kind of training, especially conducted by a former Tier 1 UKSF operator and instructor, is a rarity. The instructor clearly demonstrated and proved his proficiency throughout whilst showcasing his own shooting skills. This only increased my trust in his instruction, as he was performing to a high level on demand, utilising techniques and principles he was directly teaching us.

Safety was emphasised throughout, with there being clear professionalism and accountability within this department.

The course caters to all skillsets, whether you have previous firearms experience or not. Nobody is made to feel alienated or left behind based on their ability, and the course moves at a pace that works for all in my opinion. Even if you are already a proficient shooter, I feel there is still value here. There is a large emphasis within the course to teach yourself how to identify your own shortcomings, and as such, make improvements and adjustments based on your own observations of your shooting. This is invaluable, and in my view is the reason everyone on the course improved to the level they did by the end of day 3. Along with this, you will receive direct instruction, as you’ll shoot courses of fire as a group but also individually, where you’ll receive specific feedback.

To summarise, if this is something you’re interested in, you need to do it. I cannot recommend this course enough, and I will be back for more courses in the future. Ultimately, I had great fun, and my proficiency and safety with both weapon systems drastically increased in such a short time. I got exactly what I wanted from the course and it only left me wanting to continue to improve this skillset.

Do Not compare the courses run by Kinetic Outcomes to other ranges.

Other ranges offer a brief opportunity to experience shooting but very little tuition beyond the bare minimum – and that may suit some.

Kinetic Outcomes falls at the opposite end of the spectrum.

The 3-day fundamentals course is intensive to convey as much knowledge as possible each day while ensuring varying abilities keep up and safety is always maintained.

You will be taught by a former Tier1 UKSF operator, supported by industry-leading range staff, and extensively practice every aspect of operating both rifle and pistol platforms to engage targets quickly and accurately as well as methods to assess and improve your own technique.

The course includes some friendly competition and opportunity to eat out/socialise with the staff and other students.

I do not believe you will find a course of this calibre [deliberate pun] open to civilians anywhere else in Europe and I struggle to see how any in the US could better it.

Great experience start to finish led by experts in their field. Accommodating to various levels and patient with all. Went above and beyond for me personally in more ways than one.

I started with basically no experience at shooting firearms, but after the Pistol and Rifle Training I feel way more confident in handling and operating both in a safely manner. The drills and the scenarios we performed were really fun and constructive and had the chance to shoot with NVGs on. The shooting centre where the training was run, was also amazing.

5/5. I was recommended this course by a friend who previously attended. I have never had any form of coaching when it comes to shooting, but have had some firearms experience in the past with shotguns and rifles.

The course was delivered flawlessly - the was a heavy emphasis on safety and correct weapons handling throughout. We were taught how to operate different weapons systems carrying out different drills and exercises.

I had no previous experience with handguns and some experience with rifles however after the 3 days I think my ability to shoot and handle different weapons systems improved dramatically.

Having the chance, as a civilian, to learn directly from a Tier 1 operator is a phenomenal opportunity - the tuition was world class and the experience was overwhelmingly positive. I will definitely jump at the opportunity to return.

I recently completed the combined rifle and pistol Fundamentals Course with Kinetic Outcomes and the experience far surpassed my expectations. From the outset, the professionalism and depth of knowledge of the instructors was evident and out of this world. They have a rare ability to break down Tier 1 level skills and deliver them in a way that is accessible, safe, and highly effective, even for me with zero firearms background.
