I’ve had about 50 calls from Kingprice for car insurance. These call centre agents think they’re in some kind of Wolf of wall street movie with the way they try to get your money.
Constantly cold calling with no real lead.
Can someone say 0,01 conversation rate?

King price does not care about customers but itself. i was in an accident November 2022 and my car was fixed January 2023. i was called by Monica to acknowledge claim and advised not to take any payment from the guy who bumped. i honestly regret not taking that access money of R5500. everyday when i call its a story after story. Her attitude stinks, she does not care when talking to client or sympathize. I'm going to write this review in every social media platform to voice out my experience with King price. Done with Facebook, next stop twitter.

I was in an accident 2weeks ago logged my claim the next day and send all the necessary documents. Assessments were also handled quickly but after that, I got no feedback every time I make contact they looked into it, and even today they still don't have an answer for me please do not sign up with this useless company.

Bad service access very high needs to pay R9500 access for a key that was charged R2500 and our housebreaking claim took 2 months and then get told not paying out affter 2 months because of alarm due to loadshed and power failure not going off I cannot see how this company was rate the best they should be the lowest.... and we had all evidence of suspects and the suspects was arrested .

And my keys stolen in housebreaking was different claim and payment of R9500 for a key it's crazy and after dealing with 3 persons on phone number 3 puts me back to number 1 again sorry mam I was supposed to help you after 40 minutes on phone asking all details are you aware your access is R9500 ? What a waste of time and airtime

Worst insurance company to be with. My vehicle was repaired by a panel beater who is on their database
When I picked my vehicle the speakers in my car was not working ,I contacted king price insurance and the service provider they did absolutely nothing about it ,also repairs to the drivers door was nothing major just a scratch but the door was removed and not even put back properly ,I submitted video footage and other evidence including a diagnostic report that states clearly the vehicle was in their possession when the speakers was tampered with.
This matter is going on from October 2022 till this date .

Pls be very careful of King Price, we signed up, our debit order was supposed to come off end of December. Due to various tragic circumstances in the family, when ask for my bank details, I must have given a number incorrectly. I received a sms on the 5/01 debit order not taken off, I phoned immediately to find out why, / followed up daily asking why debit order not taken off. And to make matters worse, we had an accident the same week, insurance have now just flat out denied claim. I had just been retrenchment, my grandson diagnosed with leukemia, we did our due diligence in continually f/up. How is this acceptable, its almost as if they hung on about taking off debit order so the could deny the claim

Decline a gyser claim as they say don't know what gyser I had so it os not covered but take insurance payments every month sick and will be cancelled

Despite being on the national marketing opt out register and multiple times asking to have my contact details removed, they wont stop emailing and messaging. It is abusive and intrusive. Clearly an unreliable, unethical and scaly company.

I called king price 0n 16/07/22 & specifically told them to start my debit order in August but they did it this month 28/07/22 I want answers

They look for every reason not pay.We got robbed of our phones by 4 gunman while attending a course at church on the 20th of June.I submitted the claim on the following day.They requested a copy of police report, ITC blacklist number, proof of purchase,phone box as well as record of device last use from service provider. I submitted everything on the 23rd of June. A week later after doing many enquires on why the claim is taking long I was told that on my statement I said I last used my phone on the 20th of June but on the document from mtn it shows the 20th of May.I contacted mtn and they explained that they only have access to the records of outgoing calls only not received calls or internet usage. I have been going up and down to different mtn branches only to get same response. I have put so much effort and it has been a stressful experience. They continued to debit my account.This is not fair because I have no control of what MTN can not provide and one of the consultants told me the that Insurance companies usually track phone usage themselves not the service provider.

With numerous attempts to get a hold of King Price with regards to my Tyre&Rim claim, i have now grown impatient and annoyed at he fact that i have received no help and no answers within 14 days,with all pictures/documentation being sent, one would think a speedy service will pursue, unfortunately the same excuses have been giving such as,
"We are understaffed and we will call you back/you will hear from us latest today"

It may seem petty that one has to argue to get 1 rim and 1 tyre fixed but the safety of you and your new born child comes first, one cannot drive with THREE 18" wheels and one 14" wheel throwing the balance and wheel alignmemt completely off.

I am writing this in hopes to get actual help and not false hope, there is no use paying for extra services if you have to continuously beg for results!

This is the worst experience ever received.
If you are in a accident and they decide your vehicle is a write of they send it to different auction houses with out your knowledge or permission. They put it up for auction without paying the claim. After they have moved it to these auction houses they inform you that they won't pay your claim. IT IS A REJECTED CLAIM

My fiancé's car has been written off more than a month ago and they still haven't paid out. Even with pressure from a lawyer they're still not having a slight bit of urgency. I brought family members and a friends to King Price Insurance. We'll all be moving to a different insurance agency after this disgusting experience. What's the point of having insurance and paying every single month just for them not to pay out. It's like talking to a stone wall when you contact them, you can't get anything out of them.

If you are considering King Price as an insurer, I really hope this review will deter you and spare you from the abysmal experience we've had. Carte Blanche should do a segment on these guys, as I'm sure we're not the only ones that have suffered in this way. Absolutely shameful.

This is the worst company who I have ever dealt with, they do not reply to any e-mails that you send them and take premiums from your bank after you cancel your policy. If you want piece of mind with car insurance do don’t use the company.

The insurance is cheap but the never pay any claim, that I guarantee

What an awesome company. The culture is supurb! Will never leave King Price..

Having made several adjustments to my policy and lodging two claims over the past 3 years, my interactions with King Price has always been of the highest standard and I am very impressed with their service! Staff is always extremely friendly, helpful and efficient and on top of it all they saved me a heap of money on my monthly premium and it keeps going down every month!
