Good and Bad
Well: positive and responsive representative; automated processing
Poor: Marketing oversold my level of offered financing (over 300K vs just over $200K without any sufficient rationale); process was over sold as simple with few steps; interest rate was initially disclosed as the lowest rate without fully informing of the scaled closing cost associated with that rate...that is my biggest gripe.

Poor software caused me grief
The initial steps were timely, but what precisely was required from us was not always made very clear. Uploading an acceptable ID photo was extremely difficult I finally had to phone a representative and have his help to complete this step. Your Dashboard is poorly designed. I did not recognize the tiny red dot on my notification bell as indicating and important notification. I waited two weeks, periodically checking my dashboard, and finally called. From that call the process was completed successfully. I believe you are relying too much on the software and that it is poorly written. More ersonal oversight of the system is needed.

Exceptional Service From Start to Finish!
I had a great experience with Lakeview, and I especially want to recognize Aaron S. for making the entire HELOC process so easy and straightforward. From beginning to end, Aaron worked with me every step of the way and made sure we got all the way to the finish line!
What I appreciated most was his honesty and communication. He answered every question I had, explained things clearly, and was always upfront with me. There were no unrealistic promises or runaround—just honest answers, great communication, and excellent customer service.
Aaron truly made me feel like he was working to help me get what I needed, and I’m extremely thankful for all of his assistance throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend Lakeview and Aaron S. to anyone considering a HELOC or looking for someone who will guide them through the process from start to finish.
Thank you, Aaron, for everything!
