Great experience at Laura Bond - went in for a downsize and also to swap to a hoop. Everyone was so helpful with picking out the right piece of jewellery and so friendly! Can’t wait to book in another piercing soon!

I was on vacation in Scotland from the USA, and somewhere along the way I lost my nose ring. It was a small gauge, and the hole had already shrunk quite a bit, so I needed more than a jewelry change, I needed a stretching. Sarah was so kind and compassionate through this process! I thoroughly enjoyed my brief time with her, and wish I lived nearby because I would definitely return for my future piercing needs!

Very impressed with my cute tiny ear hoop. It's fits perfectly for my tragus. I will be ordering more beautiful earrings.

I wasn’t aware of the reduction in jewellery size until after I read the literature so I’ll be worried about changing this if/when the time comes. I’ll deal with that if needed.

Lovely experience, virtually no pain at all.

I have 10 piercings in total, Laura Bond is the only place I go to now to get new ones. People are lovely, welcoming and kind. The pieces are beautiful (so beautiful!) and so is the shop. One of the things that matters to me with piercings is safety and cleanliness, this place always makes me feel very safe and I have no issues with healing or after care.

It was a lovely warm and friendly experience. Clear aftercare advice given which has meant no issues!

Wow what can I say? Everything was wonderful from initial booking appointment to actual piercings. I had great help from Laura who ensured I had the correct appointment allocated as I wanted to change 10 piercings and get 2 new ones. Laura was there and helped me choose all jewellery and suggested a placement for one of thenew piercings,it's perfect.
Sarah who pierced me also helped with suggestions,in fact despite what I said I think I'd love a mermaid if possible on next appointment and a diamond 😘
The piercing was quick and painless,so far healing well and next 3 booked in , hopefully for mermaid, seashell and diamond. Can't wait, everyone was so friendly

Had the most lovely visit to Laura Bond on my birthday. I was so nervous about getting my ears pierced but Sarah was amazing and really put me at ease. The shop is lovely, the staff so welcoming, the earrings beautiful and everything was so professional. Sarah talked me through everything and was so calm and reassuring. Love my newly pierced ears and my sparkly earrings!

They must be using a different technique or different material for their jewellery because I purchased multiple earrings in 2021 and had no issue. This year, my mum bought me an earring, it literally broke inside my ear, it cut my ear, i was absolutely baffled and confused. I contacted customer service which I thought were quite rude to be honest and asked me if I had done anything to make this happen. Obviously I haven’t tried to break my own real gold earring? They insisted they investigate the issue, I sent it back and they told me they couldn’t figure out what happened. They sent me a replacement which I was happy with, however I wore it for ONE night and the next morning it was completely squished in my ear. I emailed them to let them know with photo evidence and didn’t ask for a refund or replacement but out of curiosity asked if they used a different technique or material. I never heard back. They are unbelievably rude and I am unbelievably disappointed and disgusted to be honest. I couldn’t even write a review on their website which just shows the reviews aren’t even accurate, they’re all 5 stars. NEVER buy from here, it’s a complete joke.

I bought the most gorgeous daith piercing (9k) from Laura Bond and was super excited when it arrived. I wore it for two months, but one day it fell out of my ear snapped into two pieces.

Customer support responded quickly, and I was able to return the item and receive a refund, which I appreciated, hence the 2-stars not 1.

That said, I own other gold jewellery (18k) that’s exposed to much harsher conditions and have never had any issues. I wasn’t reassured that this was a one-off faulty item, so I’m left thinking the quality may not be great, especially considering the price. 9k gold should actually be stronger than 18k, so it really shouldn’t break so easily, especially as a daith piercing that stays tucked inside the ear and only occasionally comes into contact with an earbud.

Edit: I made a review following Laura bonds link and it still isn’t up on your website. So yes I also posted it here so others can see my experience.

It’s a really nice place with lots of beautiful earrings and great command. It was my dream to made my piercing there and it was a perfect experience. Thank you. I wish I will have another chance to visit you again.

I was in Edinburgh, on vacation, and walked by the store. I just got my nose pierced a few weeks before, so I was immediately interested when Insaw the word 'piercing' and went in. The store looked so lovely & beautiful! I told the staff that I was looking for a white gold piece to eventually put in my nose when it's healed. One of the staff members helped me pick one and was so helpful in the process! Because my piercing looked a little irritated, she asked the piercer to take a look at it. I got some advice and was so grateful for that! In the end, I walked out with two lovely little pieces; for my nose and one for my helix. The latter I'm already wearing and I love it! I'm so happy that we ran into the store & were able to support this business! And I can't wait to wear the nose piece in a few months as well!

I’m really disappointed with both the product and the customer service I received. I purchased a crystal clicker hoop for £100, and it arrived completely unusable, the clasp didn’t align and couldn’t be closed at all. After back-and-forth emails, I was told the item had been “hand checked” and that I just needed to use more effort or visit a piercer.

I ended up adjusting the hoop myself just to make it wearable, and several of the crystals popped out in the process. So now I have a misaligned, damaged piece of jewellery that I can’t wear, despite paying a premium price.

To make matters worse, the customer service felt dismissive and unwilling to accept that the product might have been faulty. Instead of offering a refund or replacement, they repeatedly told me it must be user error.

After reading other reviews on here, I can see I’m not the only one who’s had issues with quality and poor aftercare. For a brand that positions itself as high-end, the experience has been really underwhelming.

I won’t be ordering from this company again, and I’d recommend others think twice before spending this much on something so unreliable.
