I registered with one of learnformula's Legal Education US's continuing legal education webinars. On the day of the webinar, I followed the instructions in the email provided (click on the "Join Webinar" button). Instead of being able to joint the webinar, I was taken to the same registration page I used to register before.

When I called the 888 phone number, it went straight to voicemail; with a message saying there was no agent available.

Also, it took about 20 minutes for someone to respond to an email I sent asking for assistance.

Based on my experience, this is an utter scam and it's just collecting users' personal information.

Stay away!

The CEO is also very accessible to me.

The course creation process itself is also quite smooth. After I've drafted a course, the built-in suggestions within the LearnFormula platform are very useful. These suggestions can be for titles, categories, learning objectives, etc. I also love that my post-course quizzes get auto-generated, because creating quizzes from scratch is time-intensive, particularly when it comes to designing effective "wrong answers".

Overall, LearnFormula is an important partner of mine, and I would recommend it to other instructors.

LearnFormula charged me a subscription fee without my permission. They refunded the money but nevertheless. Please do not keep your credit card number stored on their website.

Additional comments based on LearnFormula reply: The original purchase was made as a one time transaction for a package of 20 hours. LearnFormula converted this one-time purchase into a subscription and charged me next cycle without my permission.

The best CPD platform out there. So many videos to choose from for your designation. You can pick what you like to see and they have new releases all the time. Quality is very high and has been going up over the years.

This company does not clearly list out the course types available for CPE credits. Due to the lack of user-friendly interface, there is no guarantee the courses you actually need are available until AFTER the purchase of a subscription. I needed live webinar courses but had to purchase a subscription to see if they existed. The trial period is fraudulent as well, as they would not issue a refund after I realized the courses do not exist. Avoid at all costs - the customer service is horrendous and rude as well (talking about you, Elma).

Very disappointed in this company as they do not offer refunds where the goods offered are not fit for purpose which is consumer law in NZ. Be careful when engaging this company.

I got an auto renewal by mistake and the customer service is kind to help me cancel and refund the amount charged.
What I don’t like about the experience is that: 1. I bought a “certificate program” with a series of selected courses. It was not make apparent that renewals annually. It does not make sense to renewal since you already finished the courses and got the certificates. 2. When you try to cancel the “subscription” leads to a Chatbot and eventually you have to talk to a customer service to cancel. So it’s not as simple as just clicking a bottom. This is not friendly for people who just don’t want to go through this trouble. 3. You do not have the option to make a single payment, it seems to remembers your credit card and reserve the right to charge you in the future. I also find it impossible to delete my credit card information with them once entered.
Apart from the above noted issues, the general experience is good. The courses they offers are of high quality and at good price. The customer service staff are friendly and helpful.

I am a Canadian CPA and I have used CPDFFormula's online educational offerings for a number of years to satisfy my Annual CPD verifiable educational requirements that are required for me to maintain my valuable accounting designation. They offer a large selection of courses at differing levels of complexity, all verifiable with a certificate upon successful completion. The presenters are well-credentialled with years of experience in their fields and they teach their courses in a clear and organised manner. CPDFormula's online course management system does an excellent job of keeping track of where a student is on any particular course and keeps that history year-over-year. I recommend CPDFormula to all CPA's to help you in your annual requirement.
