I have had a mixed experience recently. Initially I was disappointed when a gift tin of pick and pick I ordered online arrived damaged. However, I was given a full refund and sincere apology. The tin was intended as a wedding anniversary gift so I then went to a Lindt shop at my local designer outlet on a quest to replace it. On hearing my tale of woe the staff went "above and beyond" to hunt the stock room for a replacement, with success I'm thrilled to say. And the chocolates taste as scrumptious as always. Thanks Lindt

Express delivery missed and cancellation requests ignored
I placed a £70 order on Sunday 13 September and paid for “Express Delivery 1–2 Days.” Lindt’s own delivery information stated that weekend express orders would arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday.
By Tuesday, the order was still showing as in progress and I had received no tracking information. As I was leaving the country the following day, I asked Lindt to cancel the order before it had been dispatched. I also spent much of the day calling customer services, only to be repeatedly disconnected as soon as the calls were answered.
Despite several emails clearly requesting cancellation and explaining that I would be away for two months, Lindt continued processing the order. It was eventually delivered on Friday—five days after I ordered and after I had already left the country—and accepted by someone else at the address.
Customer service repeatedly sent generic apologies and tracking information but failed to address my cancellation, refund, or request for return instructions. I eventually had to submit a formal complaint requesting a full refund and a prepaid return - which still has not been addressed.
Paying for express delivery only to receive the order outside the advertised timeframe was disappointing enough. Having clear cancellation requests repeatedly ignored made the experience considerably worse. Very poor service from a company with Lindt’s reputation.
