We have bought several batches of Linkd Alarms for rental properties. The latest set were already linked when they arrived, which was a bonus.

The alarms were easy to order, they arrived quickly. The box had everything in to make fitting quick & easy, the information sheet and instructions issued were also very good. The alarms are pre-Linked and worked perfectly.

Good product and prices. Good website and easy to understand and navigate.

My experience with Linkd Alarms was excellent. It was easy to chat to the team for advice on certain products which left me confident that the system I was installing would be suitable. After ordering, the alarms arrived in a couple days and were fairly simple to install. My only annoyance when installing was that the Live, Loop and Negative terminals are poorly marked and very difficult to see which is which once on the celling. Otherwise I really like them.

The best customer service I have ever come across. There was a month's gap between an order of 6 alarms and when the alarms actually got fitted. So, when we found we were one alarm short, I really couldn't swear that I hadn't mislaid one, though I thought it unlikely. I'm also not sure I verified the order properly on unpacking a month ago.
To my delight, when I hesitantly emailed LINKD, within 15 minutes they had checked the order and checked CCTV of the package being loaded and concluded the package was probably too small for the size of my order. So on the same day they are already dispatching my missing alarm.
That's what I call fantastic customer service - I will never buy alarms elsewhere and strongly recommend them.
The alarms themselves seem very well made and they came prelinked (a £10 charge for that useful service).
Oh, and competitive prices, too. And fast delivery.

I needed a solution for my FHL that was effective, easy to install and didn’t break the bank. I found LINKD Alarms online and read the reviews. There was an excellent choice of products. They arrived quickly and really were simple to install and all pre connected.

spent quite a while researching smart smoke alarms to replace my expired Nest Protects. In the UK, the choice is surprisingly limited, especially if you need mains-powered alarms that can interconnect and provide notifications through a mobile app.

I ended up building my own bundle on the LINKD Alarms website and paid the additional fee to have the devices pre-linked. The first thing you'll notice if you're coming from Nest Protects is that the build quality and materials feel less premium. That's not a criticism of the LINKD alarms, they're perfectly well made, but the Nest Protects were very much a premium product with a premium price tag. The LINKD alarms represent significantly better value for money.

Installation of the mains-powered units is generally straightforward, but if your alarms are wired in a loop-in/loop-out configuration, take care. In my house, the cable linking two alarms is a four-core cable that was originally used for a wired interconnect (live, neutral, earth and interlink). The conductor size is smaller than the 3-core twin-and-earth cable feeding the first alarm. The alarms use lever connectors, which aren't particularly well suited to connecting different wire gauges unless you twist the conductors together first. Another option would be to use a Wago box and connectors and loop in/out there with a single cable spur to the alarm. As a result, wiring the first alarm was a little fiddly. if each alarm has it's own spur or dedicated supply, this won't be an issue as they interlink wirelessly.

The other point worth mentioning is the app. It uses the Tuya Smart Life platform, which is basic but perfectly usable. However, there are some limitations. The wireless interlink gateway, which is required for internet access and mobile notifications, must be added to a room within the app. All alarms then appear as sub-devices beneath the gateway and cannot be assigned to individual rooms. It's not a major issue, but it's less than ideal if you have a larger smart home setup.

Integration is also limited. None of the devices appear in Google Home, and only the gateway is visible in Home Assistant.

Aside from those minor drawbacks, setup was simple. The alarms work exactly as expected: when one alarm is triggered, they all sound, and I receive notifications on my phone immediately.

Considering the features on offer and the price point, I would highly recommend them.
