Excellent experience & would highly recommend

I’ve had an excellent experience with LIPS Healthcare. Over the course of my treatment I’ve seen an orthopaedic consultant and an endocrinologist, and had X-rays, blood tests, an ultrasound, an ultrasound-guided injection and physiotherapy – all in the same clinic.

What really stands out is how efficient and well organised everything is. Appointments and diagnostics were arranged very quickly and the whole process has been seamless.

The staff are consistently friendly, helpful and professional, and the facilities are clean, comfortable and well maintained. The clinic also has a very calm and welcoming atmosphere, which makes a real difference when you’re attending for medical treatment.

For me it’s also incredibly convenient as it’s close to work, so being able to access consultations, tests and treatment all in one place has been invaluable. I would highly recommend LIPS to anyone looking for high-quality, coordinated care.

Poor Admin & Chaotic Care for Private Fees

I have found my entire experience with LIPS extremely frustrating, especially considering this is private healthcare and comes at a significant cost.

The administrative support has been very poor in terms of follow-up and communication. I have repeatedly asked for the X-ray results from a recent scan at Chelsea Outpatient, yet they continue to send me documents that I originally provided from 2024 instead of the actual results I requested. I am constantly having to chase for information, which should not be necessary when paying for private care.

The overall experience has also felt disjointed. I have been passed between physicians who then refer me on again, often to people who do not appear to have properly read my file. It has felt inefficient and exhausting at an already stressful time.

If I had known this is how the process would be handled, I would not have chosen this clinic. Unfortunately, I will not be returning once my current treatment is complete.

TOTAL SCAMMERS

TOTAL SCAMMERS! On 16 February, I booked an appointment with dermatologist Dr. Geoffrey Brent for Friday the 20th. However, immediately after completing the booking, I received a phone call from the clinic informing me that the doctor was not available on the 20th and that the earliest available appointment was actually on the 23rd.
It appears that the doctor’s schedule was not up to date in the clinic’s booking system. When I made the reservation, several time slots were shown as available for the 20th. However, during the phone call, I was informed that there was no availability at all on that day. As a result, the clinic cancelled my appointment. And shortly after the call , I received an email confirming the cancellation. So basically ,booking appointment, receiving call from the clinic to cancel, then receiving the cancellation email ; they all happened in less than an hour.
The following day, I noticed that I had nevertheless been charged for the cancelled appointment. Since then, I have been trying to get a refund, but for some reason the clinic’s accounts/credit department has not processed it.
They are withholding people’s money without any valid reason!!! It’s been a week I am still trying to get my £275!!!
AVOID FROM THIS CLINIC! I will be warning everyone to avoid this clinic at all costs!
If my refund is not processed within 48 hours (the legal deadline), I will begin formal action to recover my money. As a first step, I will file an official complaint through ADR. I will also report the matter to Trading Standards. If necessary, I am also fully prepared to pursue the claim through the SCC as well.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration this situation has caused. We understand how concerning it can be to see a charge for an appointment that was cancelled shortly after booking.
We conducted an internal check to understand what occurred. Our records show that the appointment was initially booked online; however, it became clear shortly afterwards that the selected time could not be honoured.

As soon as this was identified, our booking team contacted you to inform you and to discuss alternative options. Alternative appointment dates and times were offered, including the option to be seen by another dermatologist on the same day. As these alternatives were not suitable, the booking was cancelled.

We wish to clarify that Dr Geoffrey Brent has no involvement in the appointment booking process
Please be assured that the refund was processed immediately at the time of cancellation in line with our standard refund process. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention.

Great pharmacy

1. Excellent communication: as soon as my Dr prescribes the medication I receive the call.

2.Payment system: it’s easy to pay with a link sent via email and sms.

A warm welcome when you arrive

A warm welcome when you arrive, from the receptionist. A lovely clean, warm welcoming environment in the waiting area. My consultant was friendly and took time to listen and explained everything so that I fully understood.

Incredibly disrespectful of patients time

I waited for over an hour with zero updates before someone came down to tell me there were going to more delays. Felt like being in the NHS system.

I understand clinics run late but it feels incredibly disrespectful of my time for you to not flag the clinic was running behind, especially as I’d asked on email if you could do a later appointment but you insisted 2.45pm was in fact the latest. I had taken time off work for this. Not to mention the health issue I have remains unresolved. Really frustrated and disappointed by this.
