We were let down by HSBC bank who I had banked with for over 20 years. We contacted Joe two days before Christmas and he secured an agreement in principle with NatWest. We then dealt with Vanessa who did everything she could to make sure the process went smoothly. We can’t thank Joe and Vanessa enough for everything they did to make sure we got our mortgage. Tri Nation Purchase

When I explained my situation, wanting to buy a buy to let house in U.K. country of residence, currently working overseas and funds for deposit kept in a third country, John Squires assessed the property, my personal details and was positive.

Since that initial interaction the positive 'can do' attitude remained till the day of completion when Claire Aspin called up to confirm the release of funds.

The only words of caution are that there are a lot of forms to fill up - but that is to be expected.

Highly recommended if you are buying U.K. property from overseas.
