I’m self employed and was put onto this scavenging payroll company by a recruitment agency. To my dismay I saw that they were taking £18 per week as a “business margin” all for themselves. Obviously as anyone with common sense would know, the agency who recruits the payroll company to handle their accounts should be paying said company. I bit my lip and carried on.

Liquid Friday on their website showed me my weeks rate which was what i expected minus the £18.

Then, this vulturing company had the absolute audacity to send me a text with a new rate for the same week, which was now deducted by £95! Nearly £100 of my hard earned money taken from me with no explanation. I write this review now after receiving that text. If they decide not to fix this I will be reporting to authorities (which a quick google search would tell you isn’t anything new to Liquid Friday) and even if they do

You were recommended by the agency. However, it took several attempts and phone calls/emails to complete the registration process which proved time consuming and tortuous. I hope the payroll process to follow will be smooth!

Each time I had a reason to reach out to LF for help they are always there with a solution.

I emailed them asking some payslips for jobs u did more than a year ago, and they sent it to me very quickly and with all the information needed..
My accountant wanted to know some deductions, and Liquid Friday redirected it to me, being discreet, conserving my security.
And Elizabeth explained to me these deductions .
All clear now

Excellent. Staff couldn’t be more helpful.

Registration process is so complicated, long and require many phone call. Fee is highest I ever had. Only way you have customers, because some agencies working with you. No one will decide to use your service ever.

If you are given the option of a few companies to choose from as your new payroll company for your new Assignment and Liquid Friday is on the list.....
