Avoid the fillet steak! If that’s what you’d call it. Tasted on the turn. Poor quality cut. Staff argued when I asked for a reduction as I only had a few bites and my chips they said I ate the meal despite sending it back and refusing to risk another. Finally got a small £5 reduction after two members of staff debating with me.

Steaks alone were great but the steak sauces were poor, drink service was poor and staff didn’t seem really very interested in serving, shame because I always liked it there but probably will go to other restaurants for a steak meal

Waited over a hour for food they had one ticket which was ours no staff to be seen in the kitchen at all, decided to leave and leaving the car park all too busy having a cigarette break. Too busy worrying about having a cigarette than getting food out to customers. Poor poor service.

My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Lockside Steakhouse. The owner was a complete gentlemen and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The restaurant itself was beautiful , it has a very rustic and homely feel to it. As far as the food goes it was the best steak I’ve ever had (and I like food!).
We will be coming back on our next trip to the area. Thanks again.

We came late Saturday afternoon and opted to eat outside. Lovely and sunny and on request, the roller-shade was brought down for us. Very friendly staff and we had a variety of starters - mine was lovely garlic king prawns and we all had the 14oz T-bone steak for main. Adam the head-chef came out to check everything had gone well and it certainly had! We'll definitely go there again. Plenty of parking at the back too.

This was the only place we could book bank holiday Monday, everywhere else was full. We booked last minute and didn't need to as not many people in there.
Both of us had steaks, nothing to shout about pretty average and can get same or much better in many other places.
I eat out 2, 3 or 4 times per week and can honestly say that this place is VERY overpriced and definately NOT worth the money.
Place is nicely decorated and Kieron (supervisor) is a great guy. But be ware of Jenna very abrupt and rude.

We went to the Lockside steakhouse for our wedding anniversary June 2021- really welcoming staff and all safe COVID wise- a lovely relaxed pace to the night, no rushing to max out the tables, the food was top drawer but not pretentious and the surroundings and vibe were relaxed and fun; some fancy steakhouses are so austere and serious but Lockside was relaxed and warm. Fantastic experience - we’ll be back, nicest venue in Stourbridge we’ve found!
