Lodge Brothers, It is clear to me that my Trust Pilot account has been hacked by Mr Adrian Richard Lindsay, 53, a Divorced, failed IT Director of a failed IT Company, (Proverb Solutions Limited, Lodge Lane, Colliers Row, Romford) and the wholly abhorrent Lorraine Francis of (Lorraine Francis Solicitors, The Heights, Weybridge, Surrey) a wholly despicable and abhorrent solicitor, with absolutely no dignity and respect for my deceased parents.
Lorraine Francis (solicitor) has done nothing but to frustrate and delay the probate process, continuing to be obstructive towards my solicitor, abhorrent and despicable & completely deluded, like her severely depressed client to send me malicious communications on the 20th July 2026, the 2nd Anniversary of my Mother's funeral. I have no doubt that Adrian Lindsay incited Lorraine Francis to send this malicious communication on the Anniversary of my Mother's funeral. Their behaviour is despicable and appauling towards me and my parents.
Because of her conduct, I cannot see Lorraine Francis continuing to work in her position as a solicitor.

Lodge Brothers, The Review which I posted in 2024, and my response to your reply will never be removed by me under ANY circumstances after the way Lodge Brothers Funeral Directors treated me in June and July of 2024, so you and your client Mr Adrian Richard Lindsay (Proverb Solutions) will need to accept this review, however distressing and uncomfortable it remains for you and your client to read.
Lodge Brothers, make sure you never treat a Spouse of a deceased in a way that stops them from attending their Parent's Funeral. To do this in the future would be disgusting and Wholly Unprofessional of you to treat a person in this way.
Lodge Brothers and Adrian Lindsay need to understand that any tactics that you and he use to attempt to embarass or humilate me to withdraw my 2024 review will continue to fail...Sticks and Stones, Lodge Brothers.
You should be aware that legal action is in process against your client.
He is suffering from the guilt which he will be struggling to cope with, which I have no doubt has left him with severe guilt and depression. He will have to seek help to deal with how he continues to feel. Unfortunately for him I doubt that he will ever get over his guilt and severe depression, which will probably remain for him for however long he manages to recover, if he recovers.
It seems that his way of dealing with his depression is to, get a doctor to send me a death message of "Very, Very Bad News" then attempting to stop me from attending a funeral, harassing me by sending communication to my probate solicitor via Lorraine Francis, his solicitor (Lorraine Francis Solicitors) recently on the 20th July 2026, and causing conflict and dispute with my probate solicitor since 22nd April 2026 and having absolutely no respect for my deceased parents.

I am convinced that Lorraine Francis, as abhorrent as she continues to be will cease to remain in this profession in the future, as her conduct is wholly unprofessional, and falls well below of what is expected of soilicitor. She has been reported to the SRA.

Adrian Lindsay's actions since December 2009 are not of my doing. He struggled to support himself, relying on our Elderly parents, in their 70s to mortgage Lodge Lane until 2014, hence Adrian Lindsay's guilt and state of mind.
Lodge Brothers, I note that you have other/recent 1 star reviews from other clients since my review in 2024.

Your client's solicitor is continually trying to provoke me, so you could contact Lorraine Francis via Adrian Lindsay so that I won't have to add more to this review. Although I have no doubt that she will be viewing this review.
Lorraine Francis (Lorraine Francis Solicitors) from Weybridge, Surrey, has continued to harass me following the death of my parents, 29th December 2022 and 7th June 2024.
Lorraine Francis has also continued to dispute costs and is causing the Administration of my parent's estate to become a painful and drawn out experience for me. I am in the process of having Lorraine Francis removed from being involved in the administration of my parent's estate. I understand that her client, Adrian Richard Lindsay is disgruntled and that I am entitled to our parent's estate but under UK Law as there is no Will in place he cannot with his deluded state of mind continue to do as he wants, and then send me unwanted communication via Lorraine Francis on the 20th July 2026 to cause me distress and insult. Lorraine Francis has no dignity and should not be a solicitor, There should be no need for me to add anything further to this review. If Lodge Brothers had not treated me in the way you did up to the date of 18th July 2024 then the review which I have had to submit could have been easily avoided by Lodge Brothers.

We had pre booked our funerals some 10 years ago. The staff were very sympathetic and caring, helpful without being overbearing, and extremely compassionate from collecting Roger from home to preparing him for his new life, the make up artist made Roger look well. In a difficult time they were exceptional x

From our first contact when they came to collect our dad in the early hours of the morning, right through to the aftercare they provided, they were outstanding. Shobha in particular guided us through the whole process not just with absolute professionalism but also with kindness and empathy. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt incredibly well supported. 1st Class Company and Service from people who care.

On behalf of my sisters and myself I wish to sincerely thank all at Monk Lodge Brothers Guildford for their help and compassion in arranging my sisters funeral. In particular I would like to mention Cyd who was so kind and compassionate whilst remaining professional and efficient at all times. She kept us fully informed of all procedures at what was a difficult time for the family. Also Chris who was the conductor. His attention to detail and understanding for our religious rites were respectively observed and greatly appreciated and at no point did we feel rushed. The previous two star review relating to this funeral was from an individual and does not reflect the views of the family. I am writing this review because I was overwhelmed by the kind courteous caring service that was provided by Lodge.We had used them previously on two occasions and had been very happy
Cyd managed the duration of all the events.She is kind considerate and very efficient.Nothing is too much for her to do for you at a difficult time and she helps to make sure nothing is overlooked.
Our visits to see our sister were very well organised and sympathetically led and we left feeling she was resting in comfort.
The final day when we had to carry out our final prayers the whole team were there to support and guide us.My sister looked radiant as we said our final goodbyes.
the atmosphere in the chapel was calm and peaceful.
Chris who was the conductor on the day of the funeral was excellent.He made sure everything was on time and followed all our wishes as we requested.He was kind and sensitive in his actions and this extended to the commital which we wanted to be able to attend.
I regret the previous two star reviewer who thinks differently as it was the same event but I would always recommend Lodge and cannot thank them enough.

This review relates specifically to the Lodge & Monk (Lodge Brothers) branch on Woodbridge Road, Guildford.

We chose this branch because they had looked after our family on two previous occasions, and those experiences gave us confidence to use them again. Throughout the arrangements, Cyd organised everything and Chris led the team. They were kind, polite and did their best to accommodate our requests, and we were grateful for their efforts.

Unfortunately, our experience during the final two visits to the Chapel of Rest overshadowed what had otherwise been a well-organised service.

We fully understood that visiting time would be limited to help preserve the deceased, and we respected that completely. However, despite everyone being aware of the time restriction, we felt unnecessarily rushed during our final moments.

On one visit, although only a few minutes remained, the chapel door was opened without knocking and we were told our time was up. It felt abrupt at such a sensitive moment.

On our final visit, Chris remained inside the room while we said our family prayers. We had hoped to have complete privacy for those last moments. Before we had finished saying our final goodbyes, the door was opened again without knocking and we were told our time was up.

These were moments that our family will never have again, and the way they were handled made an already heartbreaking experience even more distressing.

I am not writing this to criticise the staff personally, as everyone we dealt with was courteous and professional throughout the arrangements. Rather, I hope this feedback encourages the Guildford branch to review how final Chapel of Rest visits are managed. A gentle knock before entering, waiting for a response, and allowing families to finish a prayer or final goodbye before interrupting would make an enormous difference to families at one of the hardest times in their lives.

We chose Lodge & Monk because of our previous positive experiences, so it is genuinely disappointing that our final memories of the Chapel of Rest were handled in this way. I sincerely hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future families visiting the Guildford branch.
