Absolutely loved our stay in the California Snug. This is a dog friendly snug so it was an easy choice for us so we could bring out fur baby. The lodge itself was so clean and cosy. 10/10 for cleanliness. It has everything you need for an overnight stay. Great communication from hosts on the lead up to our stay with great information included in the check in email. Would definitely stay again!!

Just had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Selkie with my family of 4. The views are lovely and you feel instantly relaxed. Hot tub, decking and fire pit are all fab! Jo was a wonderful host and checked in with us before our visit and was super helpful suggesting some walks we could do as a family. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Xxx

My partner and I recently stayed at the California Snug at The Snug Logie Farm this past Friday, and it was hands down one of the most relaxing nights we’ve ever had.
Even though the weather started off horrendous, the snug was so cozy that we didn't mind at all. Once the sky cleared up, we spent the rest of the evening in the hot tub, soaking in the peace and quiet. After a long, busy week of work, it was exactly the reset we needed.

What we loved:
The Views: Absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that horizon through the porthole window and seeing the lights over the water at night was magical.

The Atmosphere: The snug is beautifully designed with great lighting (we loved the neon ceiling strip and the fairy lights on the deck!).

Seamless Process: Finding the farm was a breeze. We received an email prior to arrival with full details that made the check-in process completely stress-free.

Food Options: You can actually order on Just Eat! Just a heads-up for others: there is a higher delivery charge because of the remote location, but it's totally worth it to have food brought right to such a stunning spot.

We are already planning our return trip! We’re definitely looking to book the Selkie for a few nights next time to enjoy this hidden gem even longer.

Highly recommend to anyone looking to switch off and recharge!

Me and my partner recently spent two nights in the Selkie. The lodge itself was very easy to find and spotless on arrival, the views from the cabin are nothing short of phenomenal. Very spacious and literally has everything you need for your stay. Oh and the bed is very comfortable! The hot tub under the veranda was great and very secluded and there’s plenty of space with all the furniture you require. There’s also plenty to do within a 30 minute drive of the lodge….highly recommend the steak barn!

I’d highly recommend anybody visit this place, we certainly will be again. Myself and my partner enjoy breaks away and the whole package is up there with the best!

We had an amazing stay at The Selkie at Logie Farm for 4 nights. It had everything we needed, compact kitchen with essential utensils, easy to make a simple meal, spacious fridge, plenty of dining space outdoors for lovely evenings, lovely breakfast bar in the lodge. Very comfy bed, TV moves on the wall so can see from the bed and sofa. Spacious bathroom for a pod/lodge, great shower etc. Lovely products provided. Lodge was warm, clean and comfortable
Outdoor decking amazing, fire pitt, outdoor furniture, hot tub was spacious. The view is memorable and there is something magical about driving up the gravel track through the wood, the lodges are private on a hill side with spacious parking.
Hosts were very helpful and able to advise on local walks, restaurants and places.
Would love to come back again!

Our 2 night stay in the Selkie was amazing. It was the perfect getaway after getting married the weekend before. The lodge was very clean and spacious and the views from the decking were incredible. The hot tub was also great! Would highly recommend and most likely we will be coming back in the future!

Stayed in the selkie lodge Friday Saturday night was well impressed with the whole set up and location off the lodge which was immaculate I am 💯 sure i will deffo be booking this lodge again

Our two night stay at the Selkie was everything we wanted. Luxury accommodation, with all the amenities you need ‘cook’ a simple meal, coupled with privacy and amazing views. A totally relaxing and revitalising break in gorgeous surroundings inside and out. Already thinking ahead to our next visit.

An excellent destination with even better views 😍 have already recommended to a few friends! We will be back.

We have been to the snug twice now and we absolutly loved it. The snug has everything you could think of and the television being signed into Netflix prime ect is just an added extra for lying chilling out. Couldn't recommend the snug enough...defiantly planning our next visit 🥰🥰🥰

They do not reply to emails. They make you pay the whole balance before you even arrive, and bombard you with emails every day. But if you write back no one responds. The next day the email comes again asking for money when you haven’t even begun your trip.

Amazing stay at the Snug. Beautiful inside & out. Firepit was a great addition. Weather amazing so made our experience the best it could be. Would highly recommended for a relaxing , chilled out stay

This was our 3rd stay at The Snug. First time we stayed in California and 2nd/3rd times we stayed in Camcase. Each snug is fantastic. The facilities are incredible - underfloor heating. You are cold outside then come into a very cosy environment. The beds are so comfy and the hot tub is top of the range. The firepit is lovely and the views are incredible. It definitely is our favourite pod we have ever stayed at which is why we always come back!

Had such a lovely stay here. The view and amenities were stunning and so perfect. Definitely our favourite pod experience and definitely will be back!

We booked three nights at the snug and it’s been the most relaxed we’ve felt on recent breaks. You are about three miles from Newburgh and there is no traffic noise or people about which added to the experience.
For us this was the best experience, the snug was top notch, simple yet luxurious with great views.
Having great weather helped and we spent our time in and out of the hot tub, sunbathing and napping. Simple and lovely.
We didn’t order the bbq so we just had simple salads and snacks although we could have gone out for dinner if we wanted to but we were happy just chilling.
The snug was so comfy with all the tech we needed and Jo was there to help with any queries.
I knew it would be good but I really felt this was our ideal break and we definitely think we’ll come back.

We came to celebrate a birthday in the California snug and we absaloutly loved it! We loved every minute of it. The views where amazing. The hot tub was amazing. The firepit was a great way to end our night. Had everything we needed. I would however say that the extras are a little pricey. I added on the firepit pack and celebrations pack. The firepit pack was worth the money but the celebrations pack I wouldnt say so as I only got a handful of balloons and a banner. In the description of the pack there should have been a helium balloon aswell? But other than that I couldn't fault our stay. We will be back thats for sure. We didn't want to go home! Thankyou very much!

We spent a night at the Camcase Snug and we loved our stay! We regularly go to overnights in lodges and this is definitely one of the nicest ones we have been too. All of the small details were perfect, and Jo was extremely helpful with any queries we had. Our only small complaint would be the drive up the hill which was quite steep and rocky with a few holes, but we were aware of this prior to booking and made sure we brought our bigger car. Stayed in the Camcase Snug for one night and it was everything we hoped it would be. An opportunity to fully relax and switch off from the outside world. Exactly what we needed. The Snug itself is great, finished to a really high standard and incredibly comfortable. The views are amazing and the hot tub is the perfect way to take them in.
