I recently ordered my very first pair of Lohause frames and i was blown away by how nice they were:
1) The frames were beautifully crafted and fit well.
2) I had no idea they were shipping from Portugal, to me all the way in the Bahamas. I assumed they were shipping from the US. I was surprised of the shipping times, suprised how soon they arrived, impressed with how responsive customer service was when I had to make an address correction.
3) I normally don't get caught up on packaging and unboxing. But the effort to detail they put into the package, was beyond nice.
4) Now i must say im a stylish guy and always dress nice. But everytime, i wear those frames i get compliments on the glasses. it's no mistake, they look damn good.

I had my eyes set on that pair a few years back in the tortoise and amber models, but I was a fervent Persol fan then. However there comes a time when eyes need to be tested again. Paired with a good amount of newsletters and other social media publications, the temptation got increasingly too great to resist. The desire of having a pair of LoHause Deans on my face was just becoming too strong at each new tempting offer, resistance became futile. It was not long before my pair arrived, perfectly chosen as per my preferred shade of tortoise. The quality is exquisite, they fit perfectly and the size is just right. I love the shape and the way the arms have been designed. No disappointment there! In the excitement I even got real close to ordering another pair in amber but this will have to be for another time. Thank you. (Shipping was really fast and carefully packaged)

There was never any lagging in the communication, which always kept a very professional and assisting tone. I’ve ordered two pairs from Lohause, and absolutely love them. They are more comfortable than other pairs I’ve worn, and even after two years they still stay put and do not slide. They also don’t irritate my ears. Super bonus, I get a lot of compliments on them. Love the iconic, classic designs too.
For the price, quality and comfort, plus the quick arrival, I only see positives!

My sunglasses are perfect! The perfect shape, color, lense color intensity and overall they’re really excellent quality overall!

For two months I have been waiting for a refund. I keep getting the same reply. Your return is customs in Lisbon. DO NOT ORDER from this company. The frames are cheaply made and should you need to return them, you will never get a refund.

When I saw the presentor and the humour infused videos, I knew I have to have these beauties! I wanted them all!. I started with the iconic The Holly in Bleu- gorgeous!

Arrived fast and these beauties are as good as promised!!

I have a very narrow bridge and have had trouble finding comfortable glasses. I ordered a pair of Spike Tortoise frames. They arrived within 10 days with no additional charges as promised. They are excellent frames, beautifully made and, more importantly, the most comfortable frames I have ever had. They are far superior to cheap frames proliferating on the web, and equal or superior to brand name frames. Many thanks!

When placing your order, there is no mention of the charges for "Duties, Tax, Customs, Other fees". A few weeks after I received my Lohause order, I got a bill from FedEx. Price of my order was $190. The bill from FedEx for Duties, Tax, Customs, Other fees was $43.75(US dollars). When I questioned Lohause about these charges, I was instructed to refer to their FAQs where the last sentence under the Shipping Information says, “Please be advised that any associated fees or duties imposed during this process are the responsibility of the recipient.”

The SPIELBERG, DEAN and BASQUIAT, all in Tortoise, are my 3 Lohause Musketeers. Finally I could not resist SPIELBERG and DEAN frames, with my longtime local optician I use Spielberg for month or so. Especially light Mazzucchelli acetate which compensate the weight of prescription glasses plus perfect cut around nose make the frame so delightful to wear. Thank you from my happy nose and eyes, The chic look was recognized by friends.
P.S. Thank you also for great service as I was returning/exchanging one other frame.

On both quality of product and customer service, Lohause has been excellent.

Regarding the product, the frames are not only beautiful but feel well crafted in your hands. They are some of my favorites I've had, and I will definitely add other varieties of the Dean frame later on.

While there were some hiccups with the ordering process, they've been patient, cordial, and responsive throughout. It's been one of the best online customer service experiences I've had.

To summarize, I would definitely recommend Lohause for your next pair of glasses.

Excellent customer service to ensure I got my glasses in time for the holidays. The frame are a perfect fit and are very well made.

No mention that you have to pay stupidly high tax and disbursement charges so the low quality glasses end up over priced. Avoid this company.

Deceptive marketing. Whilst clearly stating free shipping all over their website Lohause manages to write in small print that there may be some import fees associated with some orders. Also not clear where their glasses are manufactured and at no point during the buying process do Lohause make this clear. There is a small section on a separate FAQ page mentioning this in vague terms. I now have an additional £60 bill to pay on top of the cost of glasses.

Totally dishonest marketing/advertising and Lohause are clearly absolving themselves of any responsibility as ‘it is mentioned in the small print’. When challenged Lohause doubled down and did not offer to resolve/reconcile the issue.

This is clearly an issue for this company given the previous reviews but something that Lohause refuse to take any responsibility for. I will never buy from Lohause again and would not recommend them at all. Reporting to trading standards for misleading advertisement.

Superb quality. The acetate is REALLY out of this world. The manufacturing process is old style with reinforced temple connections. I cannot comment on issues with deliveries with other customers, but the product I received is top notch. (The Winston Tortoise). I am a real customer and not a fake account as I read in other comments. Do not miss this if you like it.
