I ordered a test on Tuesday evening, had the blood appointment on Thursday, and the results on Saturday including a doctors report. This is the only time I've ever seen any health care in this country move faster than mollasses.I wouldn't be able to get a gp appointment in that time.and if I could persuade them to do a blood test, it would not be a full test, and it would take weeks if not months.

Their hormone test is super complete and I have had no issues at all. The blood test went smoothly and the results were quick to arrive. Would recommend!

I liked this as a convenient alternative to having to stab myself in the fingers and draw 2 vials of blood, and included a bunch of markers I wasn't getting anywhere else.

I see they've reduced the number of tests in the maximum package (with now 70 instead of 76 or so before), but you now have the option to add the additional tests you want/need on top of the 70 for additional price per test.

Thriva (competitor) now offers a capillary stick-on collection device so I'm probably looking to use them more for smaller routine tests.

Lola's Doctor's report on first glance seemed analytical and comprehensive looking at all the unusual readings, but taking a second look now having a reason to look back at it, I have one score which is wildly out of range, predictive of very high cardiac disease risk - Lipoprotein(a).

It was discussed in the report in the same discurtive way as the other ponits, but came in the middle as if it shared equal status with the other relatively minor comments, did not emphasise how significant or serious the level in question was, and the only onward advice was to use a technical web-based tool (qrisk3) to assess CV event probability which - imporantly - does not take an lp(a) score as an input, giving a misleading outcome if your Lp(a) score is sufficiently high.

I would have liked more emphasis on this point, and perhaps more useful next steps.

Good service. easy blood tests. Clear results

I don't usually write reviews but I am so impressed with this service I think it deserves more than 5 stars. Everything from dispatch to collection of the sample (excellent nurse Carol) to delivery of results and the comprehensive, personalised report from the doctor was efficient, professional and first rate - and so speedy with the report. Potentially life saving, I won't hesitate to use this service again. Thank you to all involved, 100% recommend.

The app interface is good. I would say however for the test it wasn’t very smooth for the phlebotomist at the pharmacy : she has to wait and call for permission to write my name on the blood samples tubes. The review by the doctor was insightful however I would have liked to be able to be in a live discussion with the doctor or be able to reply to his review so maybe he could potentially adress the root cause of symptoms etc and the correlation with results.
But Overall a good experience. Would recommend

I cannot recommend Lola Health highly enough. The phlebotomist came to my home to collect the sample within a week of ordering and full comprehensive results including a report from a doctor was received within 7 days. This included helpful insights into my health and how to improve it, as well as something to take to my gp for further support.

Excellent customer service and quick results. Although there was a problem with my first blood sample, Marie contacted me immediately and provided a solution. Shela also helped me via the online chat and went out of her way to ensure my issue was resolved. The results were received quickly and provided very good insights. Highly recommend and will use again!

From ordering the kit to results in 3 days.
I messaged their chat on Tuesday and Marie helped me navigate the process. Ordered the kit Tuesday afternoon, booked the Phlebotomy for Friday. The kit arrived Wednesday morning (well done Royal Mail) and I text Marie on the off chance we could move the phlebotomy to Thursday- she replied, yes, within half an hour after coordinating with Jacob the phlebotomist. Blood was collected Thursday and Jacob posted it. I received a message Friday morning saying the lab had received the blood, then Friday teatime saying the lab work was done, awaiting a Doc review, and then that evening I received the results pdf.
I am flabbergasted at how easy and quick and efficient the whole process was.
The results pdf is very easy to read, informative and the doc reports give enough insight for next steps for general health.

Great support from Lola. I was always informed of the different steps in the process. My phlebotomist was great, the customer services was quick, efficient and understanding and I received a good summary and interpretation of my blood tests.

updated review after direct contact and email discussions - some disappointment in the 'calculated' results provided this was due to expectations v details in the bio marker package - this has been understood and resolved - update 4 stars and happy overall with lola - will use again in the future

Unfortunately disappointed (2336) - with my results / info provided in the results report pdf. 2 main reasons,
1 - I selected the Advanced option for my needs, some notes i added into the order was specifically for testosterone level and inflammation markers due to expected abnormal findings, what is disappointing is that the testosterone marker is only a calculated unit not an actual result - meaning that i would now need to pay additional fee for a separate test (i would have selected another option if i knew this before hand) - this was not informed accurately in the test screening bio markers. My aim here is to focus on muscle mass.
2 - i do have inflammation due to a number of injuries / tendonitis / OA - i was hoping for some medical advise on treatments / supplements (feratine?)

The process was very smooth, the lola app works well and informative, phlebotomist visit professionally done - i am looking to monitor frequently my health so i can build up a comparative history but would now consider another provider.

i would like to ask here if Lola does reply - is there any test / marker that indicates any level of excess stress ?

Everything about the whole experience was excellent. Was easy to book a phlebotomist to come to my house, she was gentle and explained everything. The results were clear and fully explained in review by the doctor. I have clear next steps and know what I need to keep and eye on. The team at Lola are excellent and highly professional!

Now that the NHS has lost all interest in supporting preventative medicine, my wife and I sought a comprehensive private 'MOT' blood test at a reasonable price. We are delighted with the thorough results and in particular the detailed doctor's reports. The whole process was undertaken promptly and efficiently. Our phlebotomist Jacob was very professional and reassuring.

Really pleased with the service. The phlebotomist was really friendly and efficient. Was notified by email as that n it had been received and when the results were ready. This was just 2 business days. It was a detailed report and easy to read. Will definitely book a review in 6 months

The phlebotomist was great. I have a terrible reaction to the idea of needles and blood test so the experience was far more comfortable with Lola. The phlebotomist was super helpful even when it was difficult finding my veins. The doctor review also highlighted explanations of my result. Will submit everything to the GP to see what I can do.
