I am not the person to usually write bad reviews, but in this case, this is a warning that I wish I would have had before deciding to choose LBP as the publisher to handle my book.
For a few years I have been working at a collection of poetry and by the end of November 2025 I did finish putting the creations together.
I also found the fonts, did the front and back cover in Adobe PS by myself, did the inside design, decided on the size and did the correction for half of it, for the Romanian bit, because the book is a bilingual anthology of RO-ENG. Thus, I only needed someone to proof-read the English volume (under 150 pages of lyrics) and to publish the book.
I must say that it was a horrific experience from the beginning until the end.

I have been working with them side by side at this project, spending many hours outside of work and EVEN at work to make sure that it will be perfect, but it was by far that. Every time they were saying that they are busy that they have many other books to look after, thus I suggest that if you want to be prioritized is best to find someone else.
I have sympathy for people, because someone can be burned out or have many projects going on at the same time, but NATHAN was the worst project manager I have ever met, he lack in listening skills, time-management and at times was deceiving with me…I had to repeat myself countless times and to stress out how important every detail is only the end result to be disappointing. I have sympathy for everyone but if you cannot manage a project successfully, please leave other people who are more competent to do it because someone (in this case myself) pays for a service 500£ and the value of what you provide much much more less than that.

LBP surely does not realise all the time invested in saving money for publishing the book, in saving money for booking the gallery to invite the friends, in the fact that the work is being read by teachers, managers, accountants, people from all sorts of domains.
Does not acknowledge the effort put in creating the design of the book, front and back cover in staying many night until late to check after them…LBP clearly did not show any sympathy for how much anxiety and stress they caused with their incompetence.
I have complained to Mr Jhon, then to Frank on 26th of Jan, and they are fully aware of this case. Because I am an understanding human being and I acknowledge their time I have asked for a partial refund. Yet it’s been 30+ days since Frank told me that the complaint department was informed and NOTHING was received, no UPDATE, no text, no email…Clearly showing disrespect and that they are only after receiving the money, but do not care for the quality of what they do.
I have proofs for all the wrongs they did (including missing the deadline, publishing the book with spelling mistakes, not listening to the instructions given, deceiving) on the basecamp platform and on WhatsApp, so feel free to reach out to me personally if you would like to find out more before convincing yourself to look for a publisher for your book somewhere else.
If you want to publish a book with no mistakes, in a timely fashion (within a deadline) and be supported by an understanding team that has respect for the work you are doing for your time and for the money you saved to invest in them, then please spare yourself stress and anxiety and DO NOT CHOOSE LBP.

Service: 1 star (they published the book with mistakes, didn't respect the deadline, awful customer support)

Ethics: 1 star (still after 30+ days of raising the complaint not even one message was sent)

I do not like writing negative reviews, but this is me doing others a favor, because I wish I would have had this information before choosing them and having the memory of publishing a book tainted with anxiety and stress.

Avoid London Book Publishers at all costs.
These people are masters of delay and deception. They talk sweet, promise the moon, and then vanish when it’s time to deliver. No transparency, no accountability, no refund just endless excuses and silence.
I lost my money and my time. Every time I tried to quit, they threw stupid excuses at me, refusing to let me go. Their design work? Awful. Embarrassing. Sloppy. And the way they treat you like you’re some kind of scumbag nuisance for asking for what you paid for.
I’m not just mad at them I’m mad at myself for trusting them and sticking around while they scammed me with fake charm and empty promises. They behave like thieves, plain and simple.
If you value your time, your money, and your dignity stay far away.

My experience with London Book Publishers was daunting and unpleasant and I would not recommend them to others. Despite only stating the fact that I only wished to receive some info regarding publishing, I felt constantly harassed from them when it comes to actually publish my book. After being contacted by them several times and eventually saying no and not wanting to publish my book with themselves, they didn't seem to happy and really showed their true colours!

My experience with London Book Publishers has been exceptional. The editing and publishing of my book went smoothly, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Chloe Walter, who skillfully guided my vision and communicated my wishes to the team. I am truly grateful for their professionalism and support throughout the entire process.

From the start Jerry and Morris have been very professional. They've kept me part of the process from start to finish, which helped me to feel like they truly cared how I felt about how it was going and turning out.

I'm very pleased with the finished product - an educational book I want to utilise as part of my business. Felix was very diligent and made sure he communicated the process. He was also proactive.
I had some difficulties at the start of the process due to my initial contact leaving the company.

There is no option for zero stars!

I am advocating on behalf of a friend who is blind who has been treated absolutely disgustingly! The way this company handles it's level of customer service is absolutely atrocious. They ignore all forms of communications from their customers!
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY - they don't put contracts in writing, they pressure you for immediate payments of substantial amounts and lastly they don't honour the contracted work!

Although this is the first time I've had a book published. the entire process has run very smoothly and efficiently. Communication has been excellent, so I've know exactly what was happening at each stage. They've also responded to my various questions promptly. Well done. I'd definitely use them again if I write another them.

London Book Publisher team has been great to work with. Trevor James and his assistant Morris Arlo offered me a tailored plan. Both of them guided me through out the process from editing to publishing with patience and without any pressure. I really don't think my first experience as a writer could have gone any better. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

All I ask now is for London Book Publishers to do the right thing: refund the £1,800 I paid in good faith and respond properly to my concerns. This experience has left a lasting impact on my wellbeing, trust, and finances.

All I can say is thank you. Chloe Walter, Lilly Collin, and the team have worked incredibly hard to get my first book, "Jorja's Crystal", published. I appreciate all their hard work and diligence. It has been a journey of happy and thrilling emotions for me. Let's see what the following two books bring in the series, "Saving Enrac," followed by Helgi's Revenge." Thank you again, guys. You have been amazing.

Constantly harassed me with calls and messages. We agreed to chat on a friday, and they rang me three times before this and I had to remind them we had agreed to chat on the Friday. I was then bombarded with WhatsApp and email messages. Very unprofessional!

Trevor at London Book Publishers was very quick to help, so good in this age of no contact Internet empire. Even got an immediate return call on a bank holiday weekend. Open when everyone else shut. Trevor was calm even though kdp publishing was rattling my nerves. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company for publishing they take the strain of the complications and swiftly and at the most reasonable price took that burden off my hands. Thankyou Trevor its been a journey.

What can i say about London book publishers?
Mr Trevor James, Mr John Wesley and Mr Felix Whitmore, are working in collaboration with me on My fist Novel. KALOOKI. All i can say is that the kindness and professionalism they have all shown me is utterly outstanding.
we are half way through the process and i am truly amazed. I have invested my own money with this company so they can bring the book to a worldwide audience, in hard back paperback and audio. we are hoping to Launch in Mid-July.....The guys at LBP have made me believe in my Book and pointed out on several occasions, on the books potential, They have even got me a book deal with a major outlet.I cant say anymore at the moment apart from watch this space for further updates regarding KALOOKI.

Terrible experience, unresponsive, lack of attention to detail, no follow through and no transparency. I couldn't even get them to design a simple spine and back of a book to begin with. Don't waste your time or money. They will promise you the world and deliver nothing at all.
